Although the facilities were old, the hot water worked well and the staff were friendly. There is a Crazy House and a cathedral within 3 minutes, and there are two in the alley behind the famous local spa hotel. The local BBQ next to the hotel also tasted good. It was worth walking to the night market within 10 to 15 minutes, and HD Bank, which allowed withdrawals without fees, was also within 3 minutes away. There was a large pharmacy across from the hotel, so it was good to buy medicine.

I tend to use it often as a downtown hotel. It's clean for an accommodation in downtown Dalat. I think I'll use it often in the future. The VIP room is large.

The hotel is located about 1.5km away from Dalat Night Market and about a 20-minute walk.
The hotel is good
The rooms are made of wood with an antique feel.
The staff are very friendly
They were very helpful in moving suitcases, checking in, checking out, and everything else. Breakfast was a buffet with fruit, Korean food, and Vietnamese food~~~ It was okay.
I used Grab to get to Dalat Airport.
Grab use is 250,000 VND, + airport parking is 40,000 VND.
A total of 290,000 dong (Korean currency: 15,000 won) took about 50 minutes to arrive.
Grab fare from Lotteria at the entrance of Dalat Night Market to the hotel is 35,000 dong (KRW: about 1,700 won).
There is a nearby tourist attraction, Crazy House.

Spacious room, friendly staff
The hotel is located in a convenient location to move tourist areas. However, the hotel lacks air conditioning. Although Dalat's climate is cool, the room without air conditioning feels stuffy, while the nearby Saigon Da Lat hotel has air conditioning at the same price.

Overall our stay was pleasant. The room was spacious and clean. The staff was very kind. The hotel was showing some signs of age but maintained well. The location was very good. It was a bit noisy outside until about 11:30 each night. We would stay here again.

On a 25 day tour of Vietnam with OAT Hotel has 102 rooms and they “say” it was built in 2007. BUT Tom noted the hotel looks a lot older (!!!), or has it gone a billion miles with lots of tourists! Side notes there is no air conditioning because of the relatively mild climate, so there is a balcony door you can keep open at night and a floor fan in the room. Giving this establishment a 3.9 hinge rating (scale of 0 – 5. When Vietnam was a French Colony, word got out that there was a nice cool place up in the mountains towards getting away from the heat in Saigon, and sure enough there is such a place discovered by the French in 1893, The city became the French capital in 1955 as that is where the politicians felt more comfortable out of the heat.

The hotel is Ok. It has a good breakfast Buffett. But for some reason the way shower is designed it floods the floor. You really do not need AC. Dalat is a cooler climate. It’s near the greenhouses, the lovely lake, and many restaurants. The rooms do have windows you can open for cooler air flow at night. I stayed 2 nights on a OAT tour.

Grandiose hotel with comfortable rooms with balconies. Breakfast is good. Hotel is walking distance for the lake and market and 2 blocks away from the Crazy House. But... The shower is a disaster!! You will have to mop the floor after showering and during you will have to be aware of the amount of water that is flowing outside into the bathroom floor. It's a common problem as the wood frame around the door is rotted from repeated overflow. The shower curtain is not waterproof and is too long. Regardless but you try to do, water will flow around the frame of the tub, flooding the bathroom floor. There is a large step that needs to be taken into the tub with no handles or supports to assist the elderly. It's actually a dangerous shower!! I can't understand why this has not been addressed by the management. It's time for an upgrade.
