The room is clean and very artistic. The staff are extremely friendly. It is located right in front of the lake. It is a great location for chilling out and doing nothing.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL, for these reasons: 1). It is 1 hour 30 mins from Dali Old Town where all the fun things to do are 2). The service was really bad (it took about an hour to check-in as they weren’t used to checking in foreigners) and when we were out they said they couldn’t clean our room as they didn’t have a spare key 3). There was a GHEKO living in my room 4). The swimming pool was dirty, a health hazard and unfit to swim in 5). My room was damp and the paint was falling off the walls 6). The breakfast was a Chinese set meal, with no choice and no western options. There was no coffee…only instant sachets. However, the staff themselves were really lovely and kind but the hotel itself was not up to standard. I think this place has a lot of potential but improvements need to be made. I rarely leave negative reviews but I felt I needed to this time so that others don’t face the same experience as me and my friend did.

Location is by the roadside on the east side of the lake. It’s convenient but it’s far from downtown (45mins drive) as that is in the west side of the lake. The staff are helpful and try to help however they can. They don’t speak English but wechat and translator help (manage expectations). The rooms are clean. Breakfast is basic Chinese. There’s a pool for kids (not deep enough) and a lounge area with a view. If you like a quite place away from the city, then this is a good place to stay. But if you want convenience, be aware that didi/taxi is scarce, and attractions are far. There’s a restaurant next door.

Staff is helpful

I was very satisfied with my stay at the Jimu Boutique B&B in Haidong this time. The hotel has a trendy and petite design and a small parking lot. You can order lunch and dinner at the B&B, and there are resident singers at night.

Manwu Jimu is really the most treasured homestay I have ever stayed in Dali! The room faces the mountains and water, and the swimming pool is right outside the window. The scenery is super good. It is so pleasant to make a pot of tea in the evening and watch the sunset dye the sea red. The housekeeper will ask about the needs in advance and help with the luggage throughout the whole process. The detail control is ecstatic! There is also sweet soup in the evening. This is the first time I eat milk and eggs. It is very novel. The deck chairs on the terrace and the wooden furniture in the room are matched just right. The rice noodles for breakfast are so fresh, and they also gave me handmade coffee before leaving. The experience is perfect! I want to bring my parents to visit again next time~

From the moment we entered the B&B, we were greeted by a very stylish cafe with resident singers. The housekeeper helped with the luggage and came to help very enthusiastically. After leading us to the room, he told us a lot of things to pay attention to, which was quite considerate. The B&B facilities are very complete, the room is clean and warm, and you can see the scenery of Erhai Lake. The stay experience is very good, and I will stay here again next time!

Every time I go back to Dali, I have to stay there once. It's good overall😌. I didn't book the room I usually stay in during this holiday. The king-size bed room I booked was upgraded to a suite, which is good👍

The room is very big (forgot to take a photo), clean and tidy, with complete facilities, facing Cangshan Mountain and Erhai Lake, and there is a bar downstairs, so comfortable and cozy~

The room is very clean. The environment is super good. When I arrived, the front desk lady came to greet me from a distance and took the initiative to help with the luggage. The lady spoke so gently. Everyone greeted me warmly 🙋♀️Especially the front desk lady, a big praise!

I really like the design of this B&B. It faces Erhai Lake and is built on the mountain. There are several nice viewing spaces on the 4th floor, which are suitable for drinking tea and chatting, and you can see the particularly beautiful Tyndall light on the sea and the sunset on Cangshan Mountain. The B&B has its own restaurant downstairs, which basically has Chinese food, barbecue, coffee, and cocktails. There is also a singer at the door. It's the first time I've seen a singer with a drum set. It's really comfortable to sit here and listen to songs, drink coffee, and watch the sunset.

Haidong has a very cost-effective homestay, with a great environment, clean and tidy rooms, good facilities, and a sense of vacation. Facing Erhai Lake, the breakfast is also very rich. The housekeeper is very enthusiastic and the service is super good. There is a coffee shop on the first floor, and there are resident singers at night where you can drink and listen to songs. The experience is full, near Wenbi Village, it's a pity to stay only for one night.
