Family-friendly Hotels in Dar es salaam

The staff were very pleasant, helpful and always doing their best to make the guests comfortable. The rooms were very cozy and clean, with working TV, mini fridge and aircon. The toilets were very clean and sanitized and towels also smelled like they have been washed well. I liked that the hotel was in the middle of the city with close access to a variety of important places, restaurants and shopping. What i didn't like though was that there was a lot of noise around my room as cleaning staff were busy cleaning other rooms and making lots of noises and banging doors. Also i was in a non smoking room and i could smell smoke coming from other rooms. I asked for reception to change my room, which they did.

The environment is beautiful, the beach is out, free parking, airport transfers are charged, which is in the suburbs. This hotel has full service facilities, including massage, fitness, swimming, karaoke, etc., and general English conversation!

Golden tulip has amazing view a cam place after long day. Hotel service is extremely good and staff is friendly. The rooms are clean and services daily.Also, the food here..it is amazing. Would highly Golden Tulip recommend to anyone looking for stay option.

The Hotel was beautiful we visited during the evening for Dinner it was absolutely majestic. The food was delicious alot of variety. We ordered Pork Ribs and pork belly and Fried rice. It was the best pork we had in years in Tanzania. Service was amazing. Chef mama and Chef Ranjith the food prepared by them and it was sooooo Delicious. Thank you white Sands Team.

The room is not very big, the surrounding environment is very good

Great atmosphere and customer service. Privacy and peace of mind while working. Great WiFi connection and all the amenities you would need for a pleasant stay. Super friendly staff willing to assist you in any way, daily cleaning of the room. They have working ACs in a very spacious room, the bathroom comes equipped with even a hair dryer and an extra mirror. There's a rooftop gym and swimming pool for adults and kids.

Lovely quiet and relaxing hotel - just what I needed. The food is really good, the room was clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Lovely location and great sitting by the sea to eat meals. Also had an amazing massage from Mina - thoroughly recommend!

This location is for the view, location and the service, as all were great. The hotel is dated and needs maintenance, but for the price and location- it’s a deal. Nearby hotels are $100-300/night. Breakfast was just okay. The chicken burger and beef samosas were tasty from the restaurant.

Stayed there for one day with family. I am very happy with food, menu variety and polite staff. Special Thanks to Mr Bhushan Matkar Sir. We enjoyed our stay. It was relaxing atmosphere and staff is very polite and attentive. You must sit and relax their beachfront shacks late evening. You will definitely detox your mind by listening sound from the sea and wind.
