The room is not as big as expected. The service attitude is really great. I asked for a bed and quilt, but there was none. The welcome fruit was really delicious.

Let me talk about the advantages first. The room is well decorated, the toiletries are all from L'Occitane, and the room type was upgraded for free on the day I went there. But! The hygiene is really worrying, and the details are too difficult to comment on, such as water stains and dust. I wanted to take a bath, but the water was half full, and there were bright curly hairs (not hair) in the bathtub. Because it was too late, I wanted to go to bed quickly, but when I opened the washbasin, there was another curly unknown hair in it (as shown in the picture, the bathtub was not photographed because it was drained with the water), which was disgusting. It is hard to imagine how rough the cleaning of this room is. As a hotel of this level, I think this is very unreasonable. I will not come again next time, and my impression of the city of Datong has also been affected.

The hotel is super grand and better than expected. I have more respect for Datong, an old coal base, and Mayor Geng. The people are good. If we talk about this hotel alone, I will give 120 points out of 100 for the buffet. I will show off my experience a little bit and talk about Datong Hotel. I went to the world's largest buffet restaurant in Wynn Hotel in Las Vegas two years ago and had a week's breakfast. It cost about 80 US dollars per person without tipping. Wynn has a wide variety of food, hundreds of kinds, and the taste is nothing special. I have also stayed in the Four Seasons Wangfujing in Beijing, and the breakfast was just average. These hotels are several times more expensive than Datong Hotel, but none of them are as attentive as Datong. Datong recommends steak first. The steak fried with fresh beef is far better than the 80 yuan steak at Pizza Hut. There is also hand-broken sausage. My wife said it tasted like sausage when she was a child. She hasn't eaten such authentic sausage in 20 or 30 years. There are eight or nine kinds of tea and coffee for breakfast. The room is also very smart, and the facilities are very good. The off-season stay is really cost-effective! The 50-square-meter room has a 2-meter large bed, an ultra-high-definition TV, a free mini bar, and L'Occitane toiletries. The room price is only over 500 yuan, which is a big shock. It is much better than the old five-star hotels in Shanghai that cost over 2,000 yuan. There are also many kinds of breakfasts, and the meals are well prepared. Finally, I would like to thank Xiao Xue and Yang Wenyuan at the front desk~ They are very warm and thoughtful, and they provide butler-style service. They answer all questions and provide a lot of suggestions for our travel! I will come again!!!
