"What a stunning stay we had at Hayeswood Lodge. Gorgeous room, (we stayed in Oak) with kitchenette. Continental breakfast left each day, and brownies on our first night (would have liked them each night but hey!) Bed, very comfortable, room and bathroom spotlessly clean. Beautiful area and countryside. Gardens with fairy lights, what is not to love? Would we stay again.... absolutely. Must say great value too."

"The room was not very clean or hygienic unfortunately. Duvet cover hasn't been changed. Brown stain on outside and large hair on underside. Carpet was threadbare. Shower curtain filthy. Some hairs on pillow cases. Carpet and skirting filthy and grimy. Single glazing meant a cold and noisy room. Very disappointing to be honest."

"Stayed for two nights in this beautiful country hotel. A very warm welcome on arrival and then shown to a beautiful large room, The Kedleston. It had everything you could wish for and a very comfortable bed. I was staying to visit relatives nearby but it would make an excellent base for exploring the area. Kedleston Hall, National Trust is on the doorstep and a must to visit. Breakfast was freshly cooked and delicious, I didn’t eat in the evenings but the menu looked really good and if breakfast was anything to go on it will be fabulous. I will definitely return to stay and also take my family to the restaurant. Thank you to all your excellent staff for a very enjoyable stay."

"Amazing stay at the Stay Company. I appreciate the fresh milk, cereals and hot chocolate provided at the property. Everything was so clean and tidy. The little living room with a couch was very cozy too. The price is very cheap for this standard. I feel sorry for myself that I didn't find the gem earlier. But I'll definitely stay there again next time I come to Derby."

"We had very poor customer service during our stay . We use travel lodge all the time and this is the first time we have been so disappointed. My husband has cancer and is unwell and despite it being January all the corridor windows were open and it was freezing and so was our room . So I ask at reception for extra blankets and am given a flat ‘no we do not give out extra duvets ‘ , then book ask to order food and I am given the unwelcoming ‘ it is at least a 40 minute wait ( the restaurant was not busy ‘ . During our wait I check the website - yes you can get extra blankets !! . I point this out and still nothing Will not be using this one again and will be complaining"
