The location is good, just in the central area, but the room facilities are simple. Because it is on Bar Street, it will be very noisy at night, and the room is not well soundproofed. As a tourist, the most important thing is a good location. There is a large parking lot nearby, parking is convenient, and the hotel entrance is very It's small, with only 3 parking spaces, which are shared. There are large shopping malls and small supermarkets nearby, and there is also an Internet celebrity pizza shop that is always full of people.

The only advantage of the hotel is that it has a good location and is convenient for travel. We were not satisfied with the room. We were placed in a basement room and it felt like there were almost no other guests. I don't know why we were given special treatment, so the stay experience was not good.

I recently stayed at the Camden Court Hotel in Dublin 2 and had a very pleasant experience. The location is unbeatable—right on Camden Street, which made it easy to walk to places like St. Stephen's Green, Grafton Street, and Trinity College. The Luas tram was also nearby, so getting around the city was very convenient.
The hotel itself was modern and clean. My room was spacious, well-kept, and had everything I needed: fast Wi-Fi, a good-sized desk, a comfortable bed, and tea/coffee facilities. One of the highlights for me was the leisure centre—having access to a heated pool, sauna, and steam room was a real treat after long days of walking.
Staff were friendly, professional, and happy to help with local recommendations. Breakfast was varied with hot and cold options, and I appreciated the availability of gluten-free choices.
If there’s anything to note, it’s that rooms facing the street can get a bit noisy at night, so I’d recommend requesting a quieter room if you’re a light sleeper.
Overall, it’s a great choice for business or leisure travellers looking for comfort and convenience in central Dublin.

Superb food. Great location. Have already recommended to friends and would definitely stay again. I had a pleasant stay at Garden Inn Ireland. The location is very strategic — right in the city center, but not in a crowded or noisy area, which made the atmosphere feel calm and relaxing.
The staff were friendly and very helpful throughout my stay. Their warm service definitely added to the positive experience.
The ambience of the hotel was peaceful, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. However, the amenities were a bit limited compared to other city hotels.
Overall, I’m satisfied with my stay and would consider coming back. A solid choice if you’re looking for comfort and convenience in the city.

Best aparthotel I have ever stayed at.
Housekeeping is once a week (reception will schedule it on check-in), and privacy is greatly valued. This is my third stay at Beckett Locke and my fifth stay at a Locke.
One thing I particularly like is that if there are personal belongings on the bed, housekeeping will not handle them.
The microwave oven, the dishwasher, and the washing machine all work great.
The shampoo and the hair conditioner are in a really good scent, Salted Caramel Vanilla. This is hands-down my absolute favourite of all hotels I have stayed at around the globe.
The staff is also very friendly to Chinese people. They are always ready to help, and one can contact the reception via WhatsApp. This is really convenient.

Check in was smooth and staff was friendly. It is an apart hotel, but rooms aren't cleaned unless you explicitly ask for it, or just once a week otherwise. This was a surprise considering the cost. The rooms are cozy, but on the darker side. Ground floor rooms would benefit with additional artificial lighting.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Clontarf Castle Hotel, and I must commend the outstanding service provided by the staff, particularly Marlienna. When we encountered issues with our initial room, Marlienna went above and beyond to rectify the situation and ensure that we had a memorable and comfortable stay.
Marlienna's professionalism and dedication were evident as she took the time to show us alternative rooms and discuss our options for a more suitable accommodation. Her proactive approach and genuine concern for our satisfaction truly made a difference in our experience at the hotel.
Thanks to Marlienna's efforts, we were able to find a room that exceeded our expectations and allowed us to fully enjoy our stay. Her exceptional customer service and commitment to guest satisfaction are a testament to the high standards upheld by Clontarf Castle Hotel.
I cannot thank Marlienna and the rest of the team enough for their hospitality and for going above and beyond to ensure that we had the best possible experience. I would highly recommend Clontarf Castle Hotel to anyone seeking exceptional service and a memorable stay. We look forward to returning in the future.

The staff are friendly and helpful. Services are nice with quick responses, but the room is a bit dark. Nearby areas are quite safe and quiet. It’s a good place to stay if you don’t mind travelling a bit from the city centre.

Great
SSquintyWe were super happy with our stay at the crowne plaza. Dublin is an expensive city but if you book the room for four people here, you get great value. The breakfast was awesome too!
GGuest UserI think this will be a nice stay once their remodel is done, but wait until then.
When booked initially, the reservation was for the Hard Rock Hotel. About a week and a half before I arrived, NYX acquired the building. We received no notification about this from either business. The hotel was slightly outdated and undergoing the beginnings of redecoration. The staff seemed to either be hired by NYX and unfamiliar with the hotel or previous employees who were unfamiliar with the new management’s policies. For example, the manual chain lock on my door had been disabled in both of our rooms and the staff at the desk didn’t seem to understand how it had happened. They did move me to a room with a working manual lock immediately, but didn’t seem to understand why I felt the need for one as a single woman in the room and assured me that the staff would respect my privacy. The person in the other room in our booking also had his disabled but didn’t want to bother moving. The next day, housekeeping barged into his room without waiting for an answer to her knock. The person inside was just finishing dressing.
Other than that, it’s just little things that haven’t yet been worked out in the management change. For example their card scanners in the rooms and elevators seem to be new and still finicky, and the person at reception hadn’t read the laundry policy on the NYX laundry slips in the rooms. The slips specified it would be back by 6pm if picked up by 8am, but she said it might be the next day. She also had me bring the laundry down to the reception desk when the slip said it would be picked up. The staff was actually really great and when I pointed it out I did get same day laundry; it seemed like a new management miscommunication.
Overall, I’d recommend staying here after they’ve had a chance to settle and remodel. They were already starting to take down the Hard Rock decorations and I suspect they will also redo the older and brightly colored carpets and walls. Since we didn’t receive any notifications about the new management and redecorating, I’m not sure there will be one about that either.

HHankin WangI recently stayed at Riu Plaza The Gresham Dublin, and it was a fantastic experience! This hotel is located right in the heart of Dublin, making it an excellent choice for both tourists and business travelers. Many of the city’s major attractions, such as O’Connell Street, the General Post Office, and Temple Bar, are within walking distance.
Pros:
✅ Prime Location – The hotel is centrally located, with easy access to public transportation, restaurants, and shopping areas. It's perfect for sightseeing and exploring the city.
✅ Spacious & Comfortable Rooms – The rooms are well-maintained, clean, and feature comfortable beds. The soundproofing is excellent, ensuring a peaceful night’s sleep.
✅ Delicious & Varied Breakfast – The buffet breakfast offers a great selection of hot and cold dishes, catering to different tastes and dietary preferences.
✅ Friendly & Professional Staff – The service was top-notch! The staff was welcoming, attentive, and always ready to assist with any requests.
✅ Elegant Atmosphere – The hotel’s decor has a classic charm, with a mix of modern amenities and historical elegance.
Cons:
⚠ Limited Parking – If you're driving, parking can be a bit tricky as spaces are limited and may require an additional fee.
⚠ Busy During Peak Times – Due to its popularity, the hotel can get quite busy, especially during check-in and breakfast hours.
Overall Verdict:
I highly recommend Riu Plaza The Gresham Dublin for anyone visiting Dublin. It offers a great balance of comfort, convenience, and excellent service. Whether you're in the city for business or leisure, this hotel is a fantastic choice!
Would definitely stay here again! 😊

IIrish Global TrotterI recently had the pleasure of staying at Premier Suites Ballsbridge, and it was an outstanding experience. The location is ideal, situated in the charming and upscale Ballsbridge area, offering easy access to Dublin's city centre and various attractions. The suite itself was impeccably clean, spacious, and well-appointed with modern amenities that made my stay extremely comfortable.
The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, ensuring that all my needs were met promptly. The fully equipped kitchen in the suite was a fantastic feature, allowing for convenient self-catering. Additionally, the surrounding area is filled with delightful cafes, restaurants, and shops, making it a perfect base for exploring Dublin.
Overall, Premier Suites Ballsbridge exceeded my expectations in every way, and I would highly recommend it to anyone seeking a luxurious and convenient stay in Dublin.
GGuest UserWe arrived around 5.30pm and stayed only one night. The welcome drink was a nice touch but however in the morning there was lots of banging next door to our room. My husband was up all night with a cold so we hadn’t slept much. When we walked out of our room at 9.30 am to have breakfast the cleaners were sitting in armchairs with their vacuums and cleaning g products. It felt like they were waiting for us to go. When we returned to our room to pack up ( check out is 12) there was a knock at our door at 11.30 by cleaners. It felt like a lot of pressure for us to get out and no privacy as they were siting outside.
The staff at breakfast hovered and were on top of us and asked us to order straight away before we even read the menu. The wait for the food was long and my eggs were cold when they came out.
There is no lift to our floor so passing the cleaners sitting in armchairs we also passed cleaners sitting on the stairs. The whole experience felt unwelcoming and not private.
The hotel it self is well located and beautiful interiors but wouldn’t stay there again. We have stayed at a lot of boutique and 5 star hotels all over the world and this was just average.

TTeacherTravelTimesI decided to ditch staying in the city centre based on my below par experiences there on my last trip. When looking on Trip.com, Fitzpatrick Castle Hotel in Dalkey was the same price as several dorm rooms in the city centre when I looked.
Getting there from Dublin Airport was relatively straightforward. I took and Aircoach from the airport to Dalkey/Ulverton Road and then walked for about 15 minutes. Up to the hotel entrance.
The hotel is fairly old fashioned but personally I found it very charming. The staff were well-trained in the art of hospitality, the rooms were clean, locals were in and out of the bar, restaurant and leisure centre.
Furthermore, the room was spacious with tea and coffee making facilities. The tv had a nice range of channels and the bathroom had a working shower and an abundance of towels. One thing missing was a toothbrush, toothpaste and shaving kit. I was told that you can get slippers on request as well.
Get the breakfast. It’s €16 and it’s a buffet style with a delicious selection of hot and cold food. There’s rashers, sausages, hash browns, pancakes, the works. I wish I could’ve eaten more! I loved that they had a wide range of ages working there as well. One of the staff tripped when she went to ask if everything was ok and she said ‘I’m fine, I’m falling for you!’ It was then that I knew that I was home.
The leisure centre is one of the best I’ve come across in a while. I’ve stayed in so many places where it’s literally an empty room with a few bits of old equipment but they had loads of weights, treadmills, bikes, etc. They do classes and physiotherapy as well. The pool and jacuzzi were also excellent. Plenty of ages in both as well but it wasnt overcrowded so you’ll get a few lengths in if you want.
Lastly, make sure to go for a walk about Dalkey and the surrounding areas. I spent the morning walking down to the Vico Baths, the Forty Foot (both swimming locations) and passed through Dalkey Village. Plenty of people will be out with their family and friends whether it be for a walk, bike ride, swim or a coffee and a chat. Ditch Dublin City and say yes to Dalkey!
GGuest UserStayed at the Bonnington Hotel and was greeted well but I was expecting a fridge in my room as the advert clearly states that a fridge would be available but I didn’t get one and after requesting several times I still didn’t get one.
The parking attendant is also very rude and seems to be on the look out to cause issues for visitors. The parking was very busy and spaces are limited, be prepared to walk around the side of the hotel. BE WARNED OF THIS GUY!!
GGayatri GallowayKnowing The Address from Dubai, I knew I could expect quality. Located on a main road across Connolly station, the train noises were only noticeable on the outside.
As we arrived very early we accepted the first available room after an hours wait in the beer garden. We don’t normally accept twin rooms but as I was unwell we took it. A clean, classy, modern room, in comparison to which the bathroom with a bath looked a bit outdated. But the room had our fave rooibos tea!
The hotel has ample F&B choices: a bar, cafe, restaurant and a ‘beer garden’ - a cute one too with useful heaters on the wall.
Service in these areas however lack protocol, which we always seek in hospitality.
The gym situated at the end of the premises is a public one, which means there’s non-hotel resident traffic through the corridors.
It took us a moment to realise and a confirmation from the concierge that the hotel also houses ‘temporary residents’ evident from my fellow smokers in the beer garden and the children in their school uniforms having their breakfasts in one of the bar areas.
We didn’t expect this from The Address chain. It reflects the reality Ireland is coping with.

GGotta WanderA beautiful Dublin townhouse in leafy Ballsbridge. Only a 2 minute walk to Landsdowne road to the Aviva Stadium and the Dart rail service. A 5 minute walk both ways to some lovely restaurants, cafes and bars so an ideal location. I stayed here because I had a Visa appointment at the US embassy which is also only a 5 minute stroll from the hotel door.
The room was clean and very spacious, high ceilings and large windows. Microwave and fridge in the lounge which came in very handy as we had brought our own breakfast. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.
Only negative was one of the curtains in the bedroom seemed to have come off its rail and was half hanging down and could not be fixed because the window was too high!! However it just about covered the window to block the street lights so no big deal.
Just to note, check out is 10am which is earlier than other hotels and the cleaners were knocking on the door at 9.55 so it's pretty much on the dot!!
