We had a relaxing stay at the Fairfield by Marriott Medellin Sabaneta. The location of the hotel is walking distance from Mayorca Shopping Outlet Mall. Walking through Mayorca Shopping Outlet you will get to the metro. The metro is a good transportation method to travel in Medellin. The room is spacious, comfortable and secure. The room also has e beautiful city view. The hotel also offers free buffet breakfast. Which is open from 6 am to 10 am. The staff is friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Jefferson. He was very welcoming, very attentive and helpful. The hotel is perfectly located and has friendly staff. Would recommend the Fairfield by Marriott Medellin Sabaneta if you are looking for a hotel to stay in.

I choose this property base on the hotel website and few reviews online. 5 Starts hotel mean an extraordinary service, customer service, and above and beyond customer service. My room was 1306 very small room, basic room, not welcome amenities (water batle or any sweets as other 5 start hotels does. The towels are absolutely inappropriate like old and stained towels, some with the bed sheets. The chairs were not in good shape and dirty. The chais were not dirty but they look old and weathered. Breakfast was delicious, local food, and several choices to eat, continental & American breakfast style available. The portion are extremely small micro-bread , so you have to put in your plate may pieces because they are too small. Poor customer service and most the employees feels like empowered just because they work at the hotel. Except few people. Upon my arrival not courtesy at all, no water bottle complementary so comparing with the holiday Inn Express & Suites located one block down that goes above & beyond to make us feel welcome at the hotel. For the price I paid it is not make sense to spent large amount of money for. Very poor service. The Hotel Bellman (April 2) in the morning. The Ibis standard of quality. The service was a little below, because it is quite moved, which makes the attendants' life difficult. The bed was also bad. The positive point for the location, great, in the most slightly rough neighborhood of the city. Near the center, but also near the attractions of El Poblado, district with restaurants, bars etc. very safe region.

This hotel has definitely allowed me to redefine my former thoughts of what is a budget hotel. Whenever I thought “budget hotel,” I always thought of a hotel that was past its prime & a hotel that was dingy, dark, faded & completely 3rd rate. However, this hotel is completely the opposite of those things. To start, the staff at this hotel is genuinely so kind to their guests & they are equally kind & respectful toward each other. The staff is more than efficient at what they do in their professions & this allows the Ibis Budget Itagüí to have such a “feel good” comfortability. The manager here has chosen a wonderful team & your guests thank you very much! I stayed here for 24 nights & I don’t think I’ve ever felt more welcomed in any other hotel before. My room was very comfortable, with cozy linens & pillows. I slept beautifully in the bed each night. There’s a big curtained window in each room, which covers most of the wall, allowing natural sunlight to enter the room. You can’t open the windows, but the Ibis Budget Itagüí hotel is fresh & clean... & even though I do enjoy fresh air in my room, I have not one complaint with this hotel! The TV is great (with several English channel options) & electrical outlets were conveniently located throughout my room. My Internet was so fast & air-conditioning functioned perfectly. The elevators are very quick & I never waited long for one. Breakfast each morning was surprisingly more extensive than I had imagined, with many fresh fruits, omelettes to order, cereals, yogurts, breads, 2 fresh juice choices & delicious Colombian coffee with heated milk was available. The staff working in the restaurant was always so accommodating & friendly. Sometimes, in the middle of the night, I get hungry & I could always go downstairs to the hotel lobby, where they have a nice selection of sandwiches & pizzas (which they gladly heated for me). There’s lots of beverage options & chips & chocolates, etc. Security is always present on the street level, as you enter the hotel, & they ensure the security of guests & staff without being intrusive. The security staff is also very polite, but efficient at what they need to do, in order to ensure everyone’s safety. This hotel is spotlessly clean with a phenomenal cleaning staff. Sometimes I would leave my room around dinner time and they would still clean my room spotlessly & they would change the sheets for me whenever I requested. The hotel appears to be a very new & a modern building. I think they just celebrated their 2nd anniversary here. On the street level, located inside this hotel building, is a bakery called Tostao’ Cafe & Pan. Everything there is delicious & all of the pastries are very French! Next-door (still inside & on the street level of the Ibis Budget Itagüí building) is a delicious & comfortable family restaurant called Burrata, which is owned by a husband & wife & their little boy. The food is delicious, with a daily menu of the freshest ingredients & tast

In an age that customer service doesn't exist Jorge at the Charlee single handedly is bringing back that artform of delivery the best customer service, making sure that rides were on time, excursions were booked, all of our standards were meet and above and beyond what the normal is for customer service. I first went to the Charlee in February 2020 and was floored how beautiful the facilities were but I was more floored at his top notch customer service. My only issue that I had was the customer service / staff treatment of guest in the gymnasium that myself and my travel partner were treated and were meet with great hostility and aggression BUT Jorge actually took our experience into consideration and single handedly handled the situation and took my experience back to a 5 out of 5 even after dealing with a horrible staff member. I enjoyed the Charlee so much that I will be returning back to the Charlee first week of October and can say with great confidence that my trip and experience will be amazing and again thank Jorge for bringing back an art that is lost, you are the best.

Great hotel great location and service is simply the best I’ve ever seen. The hotel is well located. It’s beautifully remodelled the rooftop bar there’s also a big island of the hotel. Breakfast was included which was great but what I love the most is that every room is beautifully remodeled, and a very intelligent use of space.

It is a new hotel ( supposedly 5 stars), but... Basic things like bathroom light, which is a very modern command (the lights are all with a command that varies intensity etc... but many have already deleted the letters that indicate their function) are not working. We changed our room.. in this room the opening of a top box did not work ( completely necessary because we travel for a long time and we have baggage 🧳🧳) We had breakfast included but because of the different tours we could only have breakfast on the first day.. and they told us they didn't prepare to take. If we added there was no refrigerator, nor to prepare coffee or tea in the room.. very disappointing I had to ask for a shower kit as it is rain ...(They seemed rare 🤦🏼) also a glass 🥛 I asked for the bath and .... never arrived There are no windows to ventilate.. from the hall comes a lot of food to the entrance of the room and there is noise for the nights of the bars next to and from the road. I think they have to improve much customer care and provide minimum services for a category not already 5 but even 3 stars.. ( the strong boxes told us they were not yet in operation. The room did not make it to us.. one day, not the reason I would never recommend it The only good bed that was very comfortable.

Wonderful services from the reception, to room service to the two restaurants. Even the roof top terrace was nice.
