Foshan Hotels with Swimming Pools

Location is good, also have the shuttle bus between hongkong and foshan, easy to get the tickets at the hotel.  It's very helpful for Shirley at the front desk.

It was a pleasant surprise that our room came with free breakfast. Concierge and lobby staff especially friendly and helpful. The hotel is a distance away from Zhumiao station and navigation with luggage was difficult, must walk through an underground garden.

I went there for the second time because of the good experience I had the first time months ago. This time the parking lot was full, it took me 20 minutes to get a parking space, later there was a long line for a bus excursion visitors, they do not have another representative for regular travelers, which was annoying and disappointing. Later they assigned me a family room, far from my expectations, with toys and camping tend in the room. After my complaint, they changed the room far, far away, just in the corner of the hotel with terrible view and not good moon of the employee. The room looks old and smell to humidity as well that you can see some scratches in the wall and furniture. It was dissapointed experience, they do not have a constant level of service, next time I will look for another option in the area.

The reason for giving three points to the sanitation is that I saw a strand of hair in the toilet when I first checked in. The environment is given four points to the lobby environment. The reason for giving three points to the service is: 1. My room card could not enter on the second day, and the front desk said it had been demagnetized. 2. When checking out, you can reduce the parking fee by reporting the license plate at the front desk, but you still have to pay 27 yuan when you go out. In order not to block the car behind, you still choose to pay and go out. I called the front desk back and asked why and whether I could refund the money. The front desk said lightly that the computer was stuck and the money could not be refunded. The reason for giving three points to the facilities is: the switch and socket panel inside is ugly, and it is not flexible to press it. It takes several presses to open and close the curtains before it responds. The wood veneer of the table is tattered and cheaply made. Then there is basically no parking space in front of the door. When I went there on the first day, there were only four or five parking spaces at the door. It was very, very difficult to find the underground parking lot at night because there were too few signs. Found it. When I entered the elevator, it looked like an office building, not a hotel at all. I came out of an office building and then walked into the hotel. The staffs of the Hotel are very nice and helpful but the building seek little bit old but equipment are okay. The breakfast place was wide from the passengers lift on 3/F and shall round a big circle to find entrance. However, the journey are good and everything are satisfaction indeed.

It was a great experience in Foshan staying at Sofitel. It is assessible to nearby furniture and renovation mall if that is your objective in Foshan. Staff crew is extremely responsive and helpful, especially Phoenix who has offered us a complimentary hotel breakfast experience and given great tips to places we want to shop for things we need. Definitely a repeat stay when I come back here again.

Good location, good services and beautiful view to the lakeside. But the room looks a bit old and need renovation.

It was a very good experience staying in this hotel. The staff are friendly and helpful. We do not have WeChat pay but we want to make online order for food in the middle of the night when all the food services are closed. There is a staff willing to help us to order and make payment, and I paid him back via alipay.  There are restaurants in the same building that we wanted to try but due to limited time, we didn't try the food in the building.  But it is very convenient to take didi booking and go to places like LingNan World, 10 mins away drive from the hotel. The transport cost is cheap too. 

Really nice hotel, the staff was super helpful. I accidentally locked my food delivery and they kindly helped me unlock it and bring it to the room. I believe his name was Harry. Furthermore at checkin we gave our IHG member number and got upgraded and got a complimentary drink at the lobby. Overall, highly recommended if you’re coming or going to Guangzhou South railway as it is only a 10-15 min drive!

The facilities and buffet breakfast was good. Places were clean. We added a third bed after the initial booking and asked for the third bed to be cancelled one day before our arrival. Unfortunately, the small bed was still in our room when we arrived. We need to ask for its removal two times before it was actually taken away!
