The room is amazing. Clean room and great room service. They fulfilled my request even in the middle of the night. Location is perfect, able to get to queen street by just a couple minutes of walk.
Breakfast was decent but a bit repetitive, so it would’ve been nice to have some different options on different days. The location was great and really convenient, but cleanliness could definitely be improved — the bathroom and cups weren’t properly cleaned. There’s no on-site hotel parking, and the alternatives were quite expensive. The most cost-effective option was Victoria Street parking, about a 5-minute walk away. The hotel charged $59 per night for Wilson Parking, but it came with limitations, which made things quite difficult. On the plus side, complimentary dental kits were provided, which was a nice touch.
Sky tower locates in the CBD, where you get access to any tourism sites. No need to take bus or train to shopping area. The car parking service is great which saves us a lot of budget.
Loved this hotel! If you’re ever in Auckland and you’re not sure where to stay, I really recommend this hotel!
Clean bathroom, clean room, has all the basic amenities and walking distance to eateries as well as the harbour + sky tower :)
Great service and staff were all really friendly! I appreciate the hospitality and thank you for reserving the car parking for my family and I :)
I stayed at the Holiday inn, and it was a really good experience. It’s close to the airport, which made traveling easy. The room was comfortable and had everything I needed. They also have an airport shuttle, which was very handy.
Breakfast was great, with lots of choices, and the staff were really friendly and helpful. I asked for non-feather pillows, and they put in a lot of effort to accommodate me, which I really appreciated.
The pool and garden area are lovely—perfect for relaxing. It’s also quiet, so it’s a great spot for families or anyone who wants some peace and quiet.
Overall, it’s a nice, convenient, and comfortable place to stay. I’d definitely come back!
Amazing stay. Loved the location- next to Queen’s steer and close to all the major attractions. Staff were really nice and assured us with charging our mobile as I had forgotten my charger.
Thoroughly enjoyed my stay here, the staff made everything a breeze for me. What I appreciated most was the check-in agent offering me a room upgrade with late checkout! This was generous and a welcome surprise. Stayed in a deluxe room on 26th floor with a lovely view of the Sky Tower and harbour. Bar on rooftop is great. My best hotel experience in New Zealand so far. Hotel is missing a pool, and no bathtub in my room. However, it’s great value overall. Thank you team!
Check in took a bit longer than a 5 stars hotel should be. I arrived at 1pm after an overnight flight and need a rest. Room wasn’t ready so okay I can wait. Until 3pm it was still not ready… only get into the room around 4pm at last. First impression ruined.
Stayed at AKL Kiwi for a night before early flight to ZQN the next day. Getting to the hotel via shuttle (yellow bus) was straightforward but you need to carry your own bags on/off the bus. Hotel had 2 floors and if your bags are heavy and your room on 2nd floor, there are no elevators .
Room-wise it was OK but door knob was quite weirdly placed (I'm 5'10” and had to bend down to insert key into the lock). Quiet location, clean but no elevators.

LLyn KhooI stayed at this hotel for one night and it is incredibly convenient, especially because it’s within easy walking distance to the airport terminal. This made it perfect for a short layover or early morning flight without the stress of arranging transport.
The room was clean, quiet, and well-equipped for a comfortable stay. The staff was friendly, and check-in was quick and smooth.
A solid choice for travelers looking for comfort and unbeatable airport access. I’d definitely stay here again for the convenience alone.

TTaylor Alicia JosephineBeing in town for an overnight staycation with attending to Auckland Cabaret Festival event, I thoroughly enjoyed the hospitality of Marsden Viaduct Hotel. My room was beautiful with a wonderful balcony view and bubble bath to pamper in as highlights. Within close walking distance to bars, restaurants and a captivating vista of the viaduct, it’s a wonderful way to feel elsewhere on holiday whilst being in the heart of the city. I’ll definitely stay here again and highly recommend.
GGuest UserThe hotel is located in the middle of three main roads. It is very noisy at night. There are still people drinking and making noise downstairs at 3 am. I couldn't sleep well all night. The rooms are all floor-to-ceiling windows, without ventilation, and very stuffy.

GGuest UserGreat location. The bed and sheets were wonderful but the rest of the unit was very very tired. The shower head would not stay in its cradle. The fridge had a horrible smell. I asked for a wake up call but the phone in the room was not working.
GGuest UserThe service at reception was 5 star lovely people to deal with . Room service was pitiful food took 1 hour to get to us after being told 1/2 hour wait , food was Luke warm some not really eatable . Shame when we paid more than $210 for the meal .
And yes we were told it was busy at kitchen as when we phoned room service for the fourth time it went through to reception who got room service to call us 10 minutes later.
. Beds were perfect and room spotless was lovely to have aircon going when we arrived . However on second day room serviced and found flannels still on floor and in shower .
Hotel is usually lovely to stay at , but this time was below par .
We felt ripped off slightly .
MMoMent MeMoriesThe room is minimal for me and lovely with all amenities in the room. Good location and take a walk to the city centre. The staffs are friendly.
AAnonymous UserGreat location and service. Stayed in the M Suite which was incredibly spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was great. Would definitely stay here again soon.
