Could not get there and would like to at least partially get my money back or a stay voucher

My recent stay at Vision Apartments in Frankfurt was a mix of decency and disaster. While most of the staff were kind, attentive, and professional, one deeply traumatic incident overshadowed our entire experience and made it impossible to recommend this property. The apartment was not cleaned even once during our stay. With no housekeeping provided, we were forced to place a small plastic bag with dinner leftovers outside our door to avoid piling trash in the room. The night before our flight, at approximately 10:45 PM—well after we had gone to bed—a man began banging violently on the door of my parents’ apartment, shouting in German. We couldn’t understand what he was saying and had no idea what was happening. When my parents tried to hold the door shut, they asked him to speak English, but he shouted back, “This is Germany!” and aggressively demanded they open the door. He even threatened to call the police. Terrified and unsure who this man was, we tried to keep the door closed. To our shock, he suddenly used a passcode or key card to unlock the door and forcibly entered without permission. It was only then we realized he was a staff member. His reason for this behavior? To return the trash bag we had left outside the door. While the situation could have been handled with a simple conversation during the day, this individual chose to escalate it in the most aggressive and inappropriate way possible, creating a frightening and traumatizing experience. This level of behavior raises serious questions about the hiring and training of staff at Vision Apartments. Guests should never feel unsafe in their accommodations, let alone be subjected to such a blatant invasion of privacy. Despite contacting the company for an explanation and details of their investigation, no response was ever provided. While the other staff members were kind and professional, this one staff member’s actions have permanently damaged our trust in Vision Apartments. Until they address such unacceptable behavior and implement proper safeguards for their guests, I cannot recommend this property to anyone.

Cleaver marketing made me book this and stupidly did not read the reviews beforehand! Firstly the good points: - Good location and felt like a safe area walking around at night. No dodgy characters walking around inside or outside the building. In fact met lots of decent people. - Was a 4 min walk from Frankfurt Main Train Station and a 20 min walk to the exhibition centre. - The kitchenette was pretty much brand new and the fridge and utensils etc were all clean and to a good standard although didn’t use any of it. - The bedding was clean. - No issues with getting the codes for the access and room (we got ours emailed by mid morning on day of arrival) - There was an ironing board, iron and hair dryer in the room. Bad Points - The smell of Chinese! I was on floor 5 and although the room didn’t smell too bad it still smelt but when I went in the bathroom which had the extractor fan on the smell really hit me. Had to hold my breath when using the bathroom. - The room was tiled white floors and it’s cold especially in the winter months. It made the room feel cold and there were so many ground in dirt marks and looked like it needed a good chemical and steam clean. I wore my socks the entire time and laid out the spare towels into the room when I got out the shower. - The heating didn’t work just blew air out. - There are no room key cards. You enter via a code on a keypad outside the room. When you are inside the room there is no way to lock the door not even a chain to pull across and with some of the reviewers on here citing random people entering there room whilst they were asleep I ended up putting a chair in front of the door at night just in case and made me sleep with one eye open. - The room was tatty. The decor and fixtures and fittings were awful, nothing like the photos. There had been repairs in the walls with filler that had just been left unpainted, the bathroom needed a complete overhaul and just felt dirty. - The bed frame was this horrible yellow fake leather and it was in need of replacement with clear signs of wear and tear. The mattress was so creaky and I did not dare to lift the sheet off to see the condition of it. The bed was also like a small double which was okay for me but doubt it would be good for two adults. - The wardrobe smelt badly so i didn’t use it. - The corridors are painted in a really dark purple and it just felt creepy and more like a hostel from the 1970’s. This is clearly a 2* apartment complex. I felt like I was back at dodgy university halls of residences back in the 80’s. They need to improve security for people in the rooms by putting on a lock bolt in the inside as a minimum. They need to either get rid of that Chinese restaurant at the bottom of the building or get them to sort the extraction out as it’s really impacting the apartments. Personally I would change the entire colour scheme to be warm and welcoming, put in carpets rather than tiles and give the rooms a complete
