A modern hotel resort situated right at the top of a hill, as reflected in the its name. We were greeted warmly with a welcome cup of hot tea, warm hand towels and really good chocolates. The breakfast comes as a set and it is highly nutritious, and of high quality. I would highly recommend breakfast here. The room is clean and of a comfortable size with birds occasionally flying and chirping about in the trees outside the windows, against the backdrop of the Fukuoka City. Would definitely return. Parking is available right outside the resort entrance.

This hotel, located in the Hakata Station area, offers a shuttle bus service that takes about half an hour to reach the property. However, it's important to note that on weekdays, there are only a few scheduled trips to the hotel. On holidays, the free round-trip shuttle runs all day, approximately once an hour. During my stay, which was on a weekday, only the 10 AM and 11 AM shuttle buses were available for departure; there were no other times, so calling a taxi was more convenient. The hotel offers both Japanese and Western dining options, a simple gym, and a nice public onsen. Since the hotel is situated on a mountain, it's not overly crowded, making for a more comfortable stay. My room this time had a good view, and the lobby has been renovated. However, the room only had a shower stall and no bathtub, which guests should be aware of.

We love the hilltop view hotel which is super nice super clean super great services from the team! They offer an upgrade with just 10,000yen and we are so glad that we made the decision to upgrade! The room we got is superb with view to the Fukuoka city! Aside from that the design of the room is fantastic! We love the toilet design, the shower and bathtub that has a semi open view with JBL speaker really put us to a super relax mode! Highly recommended!

Room is spacious but feels a bit outdated. The view is gorgeous and public hot bath provided. Hard to commute if you are not self-drive or better take taxi

I highly recommend the Japanese-style suite I chose. The furnishings, as seen in the photos, included a Yamagiwa floor lamp and a Cassina Cab 412 chair. The Japanese set meal offers excellent value for money, though most guests opted for the outdoor BBQ with a view. Overall, despite its mountain location, it's definitely a worthwhile choice for a relaxing getaway. Getting a taxi up and down the mountain is also very convenient, with a ride to Ohori Park or the Tenjin commercial district costing only between 1000-2000 yen.
