We had a wonderful stay at Okura Hotel Fukuoka! The staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming, and their warm hospitality made us feel right at home. The amenities were well-prepared and of great quality, and the housekeeping team was very thoughtful and attentive. The hotel has a gym, sauna, and swimming pool — entry requires an additional fee, but the pricing is reasonable. We came to celebrate my dad’s birthday. Although no special decorations could be arranged, the hotel kindly prepared some birthday cookies as a gesture, which was very sweet. The location is 1 station away from Tenjin shopping area and 2 station away from Hakata station. Room is clean and wide choice of toiletries to choose. We were there while Fukuoka is celebrating a few summer events. The conceign had patiently guided us how to go to the best location to watch the performance.
