Hotels Near German Clock Museum in Furtwangen im Schwarzwald

The breakfast was great, no less than a five-star hotel. The surrounding environment of the hotel is first-class, and the internal facilities are also very characteristic, especially the many details are very warm, and it feels like home. The front desk manager is the nicest German gentleman I have ever seen along the way and left a deep impression on us. This was the most satisfying stop on this trip, so it was another day.

We were too four in the cattle. And we were surprised. The hosts are very nice and friendly. The rooms are clean and noticeable good for a short stay. The host (and cook), Mr. Kletter, can not only cook, but also entertain. He presented us his son Luigi. Very personal and fine. A pleasure and a pleasure for it.

We visited the garden restaurant after a walk to the waterfall for coffee and cake. The garden restaurant is situated at the bottom of some steps and was pleasant. The waitress was initially friendly and as it was a very hot day we ordered black forest gateau and iced cappuccinos each, as thought they would be nice and refreshing. When the iced coffees arrived they were quite small in the glass (only about half full) - see photo before we tasted anything- and when my wife had a sip she realised it wasn't cold but was luke warm. I asked the waitress if we could have an icecube to cool it down but was told no, she didn't have any ice cubes (bear in mind this is a hotel!). We think maybe she just didn't want to walk upstairs to get any. Obviously the coffees were pretty undrinkable (they seemed to have been made with a hot coffee shot and room temperature milk). My wife had about 1cm of hers and I had less of mine. When we came to bill the coffees had been included even though there was obviously something wrong with them (as I had pointed out to the waitress when I asked for the ice cube). We questioned about the coffees and explained that they weren't iced coffees but tepid coffees. However the waitress just repeated that if we ordered them we have to pay for them. My wife hates any fuss so I reluctantly paid even though we couldnt drink them. The waitress had three opportunities to put the situation right after they sold something they obviously were unable to provide 1) provide an ice cube to cool down the drinks when we asked 2) noted that we weren't drinking the coffees and offer us a replacement 3) remove them from the bill. 3 wasted opportunities to do the right thing. We had been in Germany for 6 weeks up until then and had really positive experiences, unfortunately this happened on our last day and it isn't the image we want to take away. The black forest gateau was OK but I'm sure there are much better establishments in Triberg. I would love to hear back from the manager of this establishment.

We spent a very nice weekend in FederWerk with 44 people. The hotel is very modern. The rooms are spacious and clean. The sanitation facilities are disabled and very clean. The restaurant has delighted us with delicious 3- and 4-Gang-Menüs. As a special service, we were allowed to eat in the middle of our holy plate. All were enthusiastic! The staff was very friendly and professional.

We were allowed to spend 2 nights in the beautiful Hotel Rainhof Scheune. The location is great. In 8 minutes you are at the Heavenly Station and from there you have 16 minutes with the train to Freiburg in Breisgau. We had booked a suite and I was totally in love with the room. We arrived with our dog. Also dogs are very welcome. Breakfast was very delicious and the entire staff very guest friendly. We are happy to come back.
