Fantastic stay! The hotel's location was perfect; we could easily walk to all the major attractions, restaurants, and shops. It was such a plus not having to rely on taxis or public transport. Overall, I am shocked that a Mercure (Accor) hotel would be of this quality or standard.
The hotel lobby & entrance did not not even have concierge services or a ramp to ease the luggage load, I had to carry 2 big luggages up a flight of 4 steps to enter the hotel lobby entrance.
Room cleanliness was below acceptance, my suite & room windows were atrociously dirty, my room aircon vents were partly broken, other room and hotel amenities are unlike a 4 star business hotel that Accor brands would be!
A saving grace was the hotel central location & the 2-3 reception staff that were quite helpful at times but failed in terms of providing any local area expertise or recommendations (food, attractions, etc.) well when asked. This is probably not suited for a tourist or leisure type hotel guest.

I got off the high-speed train at ten o'clock in the evening. When I arrived at the hotel, there were no standard night bath rooms. The guy at the front desk helped me upgrade to a deluxe night bath room for free. He also reminded us whether we needed to put water in to soak in the hot spring. All in all, it was a very satisfying hotel stay. experience.

With a high temperature of nearly 40 degrees in Fuzhou, the lobby is very air-conditioned and comfortable as soon as you enter. The lobby is equipped with candies and chrysanthemum tea. The front desk staff are all very enthusiastic and the service is quite good. There are large supermarkets nearby, and it is only 10 minutes away from the Shuibu subway station. Very close too. It's a bit tight for two people to live in a twin bed. Although the room is a bit small, the basic facilities and equipment are relatively complete. The experience this time is not bad. The hotel is in a great location. When booking, the location was the main consideration. It is one bus stop away from Sanfang Qixiang. Or walk more than 1,000 meters. Yushan Park where the hotel is located is also a scenic spot. Next to it is Dingguang Temple, which is also a tourist attraction. It is just outside Exit E of Metro Line 2. There are also many buses at the door.
Disadvantages: Because it is next to Dingguang Temple, if the temple holds rituals in the morning, drums and bells will be beaten. The windows are not completely soundproof and the noise can affect your sleep. It was quite noisy on our first morning. The next day there was no sound.

It is only about ten minutes by taxi from the railway station, the National Forest Park, and the Children's Park. It is also very close to Shangxiahang and the like. It is obviously more comfortable for parents and children to travel here instead of choosing the old hotel near the Children's Park.

EEL YeoI booked this room for my mum and cousin for 3N4D stay. I chose this hotel for the location within the Sanfang Qixiang, and walking distance to foodie streets and the Ancestral Hall and Museum of Lin Zexu. The setting of the hotel was exactly what I was expecting, bringing us back to living in ancient Chinese house but with modern comfort. The service from the door concierge (2 gentlemen) to the reception counter (all staff and GM Assistant, Ms Qiu Guixiang) and room service (level 3 staff) was top-notch. The service we received was ever so warm and heartfelt, always able to accommodate our requests including laundry assistance and standing fan, helping us with our luggage and transport . I highly recommend this hotel if you are looking for a niche boutique hotel, and not an international hotel with full-range facilities.

I was truly looking forward to the hot spring since I had been reading many great reviews on the hotel facilities. Nevertheless, the shortcoming of the pool was made up by the staff and the breakfast. The staff were great - enthusiastic and very helpful. We also enjoyed the rich breakfast, especially the Chinese, and Western options.

The private hot spring in the room has big water current and can be filled up quickly. The service by 小叶子 was the best thing throughout the stay, she’s attentive and guided us on how to use the public hot spring and even borrowed me her personal nail clipper. People like her are hard to find nowadays. She deserves to be promoted for her service!

It was normal for many people to come during the Chinese New Year, so it would be unreasonable if the food was not increased. After eating, I wanted the room to deliver two more bottles of water, and they said each bottle was 2 yuan. I believe that with such frugal service, the turnover of your hotel will surely flourish.

GGuest UserThe room hygiene is very poor. To be honest, it is really hard to accept. I arrived at the hotel after 11 o'clock in the evening. I wanted to have a good rest for a night. I didn't expect to find that the hygiene in the room was worrying and I couldn't put my feet. I communicated with the front desk many times and asked to change a clean room, but the reply was cold: arrange someone to clean it now. Half an hour later, no one showed up. I could only go to the front desk to communicate in person, but the night shift waiter had no service awareness, no apology, and said I would call the aunt to urge her. It feels like the nearby villagers are directly on duty without professional training. The cleaning aunt brought a young boy, estimated to be no more than 20, who might be a relative of the aunt. The aunt asked her to mop the floor on the first floor. She went to the bathroom to clean the glass by herself. I said, aunt, this water stain is so dirty, you can't wipe it off like this, so I said to get some detergent to spray, and came back a few minutes later without taking anything, and told me confidently: This can't be wiped off, every room here is like this. I have stayed in so many hotels, and I have never encountered such a service attitude. I was so sleepy that I couldn't help but think of giving a bad review online. As a result, I couldn't comment without checking out. Fortunately, Ctrip customer service listened to me and comforted me, so I reluctantly stayed for one night. In the morning, the room manager brought two bags of specialties and a plate of fruit to apologize, and found a reason that this problem occurred because the handover was not done well and the room was not cleaned well. GGuest UserGood review! First of all, the room is very large, with separation of movement and quiet, meeting the needs of the whole family! The children have fun in the back room, and the elders can chat and rest outside. In addition, the indoor bathing pool also made up for the regret that we had no time to soak in the outdoor hot springs at night because we checked in very late.

GGuest UserThis is the our first visit to Fuzhou. I traveled with my husband and my mum. I booked 4 different hotels for a total of 9 nights in Fuzhou. Narada is the second hotel.
We stayed for two nights at the private hot spring wing. Was given free upgrade upon checking in. We were then driven to our rooms by the lovely front desk lady, Xiao Li (前台小李). She is very professional, super helpful as the moment we got out of the cab, she carried all our baggages. Throughout our trip, she is always there to answer all our questions and is very warm and personable.
The next morning, we then called the front desk for the buggy to pick us up to the main hotel side for breakfast. The spread is very good with both Chinese and Western cuisine. The chefs are very nice and approachable. I want to take this chance to thank the restaurant waitress, Chen Hong (陈虹). Every morning we were greeted by her superb service. She shared with us about the culture, food and places to go in Fuzhou. She really go out of the way to make us feel welcomed.
Checking out was a breeze too. We just called the front desk and leave our keys in the room and head off. We then made our way to next hotel nearer to the city centre. We were shocked by the condition as the surroundings and the exterior of the hotel looked so rundown and dirty. We then decide to go back to Narada. We were again served by Xiao Li (前台小李). The moment she saw us, she immediately came to us asking if there’s anything she can help us with. We told her about our horrific encounter at the other hotel and she helped us arrange for 2 rooms at the main hotel side. She even brought us up to see the rooms before committing the stay. We also met Chen Hong (陈虹) while waiting for the rooms, she was empathic and recommended other local places and events. We were so impressed by the rooms, the hospitality and the impeccable service by Xiao Li (前台小李) and Chen Hong (西餐厅陈虹) that we decided not to move in to the city centre and stayed here for 7 more nights before our flight back to Singapore.
Big thumbs up to Narada Resort & Spa, Shoukai, Fuzhou. The people there are truly amazing. Thank you very much!

MMIAO FANG FELICIALoved the spacious room and the amount of daylight the large windows allow in. Extra chargeable amenities such as bubble bath or herbal soak if you want to have a private hot spring dip. Otherwise super convenient as they have spa on level 3 in the same building for a relaxing day. I also liked that they have TV channels option instead of limited free xiaomi TV, and they serve fresh fruits to your room every day!
