"The room facilities were simple yet functional, the front desk staff were very nice, and the breakfast was basic, but overall it was great value for the price."

"I and my fellow stayed one night in this hotel after a overbooking at the arrival in another building in Gallup. The front desk staff were very friendly to understand our needs/difficulties and to find a room available in very fast times. The breakfast was higher than expected (considering other Best Western hotels in the USA and similar/same category hotels in the USA as a comparison). Indeed, in addition to the traditional offer we found a wide selection of tea/teases, a lot of good quality fresh fruit and especially a single-portion nuttel, really a must for breakfast on holiday of our Italians."

"The room was a great set up - loved that the "pull-out couch" was a day-bed and trundle situation. Tons of space and comfortable beds!  Very clean!  The middle of the night front desk guy, Rick, was super nice. The morning front desk people, the cleaning people, and also the woman in charge of breakfast were all very kind, too.  It was nice that the breakfast had a decent amount of choices and they included gluten free and some dairy free things, as well.  Very pleased with our stay.  Thank you!! "

"Treating this hotel as a tourist attraction is a good idea; the non-room areas are very unique and beautiful, though somewhat dark and old. My room was opposite the laundry room, which was noisy very early in the morning. I had to borrow a hairdryer from the front desk. The hotel's restaurant served food very slowly, and the taste was just average; I wouldn't recommend trying it."

"When I arrived at 4 pm there was no one in the office. I rang the bell that is outside and still after 15 minutes and several rings I'd given up. Now what do I do? As I was preparing to leave a nice gentleman that was staying there told me to try the corner room. I did. When the door opened there was jewelry making being done. Someone in the room said that someone would be right out. I waited about 10 minutes and a Navajo Woman came out. She explained to me that the Owner, an Indi woman was not there that day and she was covering for her. I checked in and got my room. Next there was no chair in front of the computer desk. No chairs at all in the room. Only a bed and a desk with TV above it. room overall was old but clean. I again had to return to the "corner room" to get assistance as front desk did not reply. The woman again when told of no chair had me take one out of another room. Then no problem until I was ready to retire for the night. The sheets were terrible condition. I could not tell if they were not washed or if they were just real old, yellowish and stained terribly. I slept on them any way. The next day when I took off the old stained and yellowish bottom sheet I found the mattress cover to be filthy and terrible stains on it. It was a zip on so doubt if it has ever been cleaned. There were a couple hairs, fuzz, and dust dirt on top of it that the bottom sheet had been covering. Over all it was quiet, the heater worked, slow drainage on the bath sink. The WiFi definately did not work. Three times I checked with the relief woman and also another gentleman who seemed to be with her, and both told me the password to get on. The man told me to make sure that I capitalized the first letter and then lower case letters for the rest and no spaces. NOPE! Never did work. So do not plan on WiFi and make sure you check the sheets are clean before you book this room. Of course I realize you get what you pay for. I see now why the parking lot had only a total of 5 vehicles not including the Mgr's vehicle in it for the entire time I was there Afternoon, night, and morning."

"Don’t stay here if you want to sleep. Right across the street from a freight train, which runs all night. The hotel could and should do more to soundproof its rooms and or windows. They charge way too much at night for not getting any sleep. When we voice start concerned the next morning, we were told there’s nothing I could do about it, but there is. "
