"I am not usually one to write a bad review however this hotel was easily the worst place I have ever stayed in my life. Although the reception was nice, they were unorganised and confused with my booking. We had to use google translate as our main source of communication. We checked in around 9:30pm, and didn’t get into our room until about 10:20pm. When we got into our room, we were utterly disgusted. There were stains on the pillows and sheets, hairs on the sheets, DEAD BUGS on the sheets and a leaking toilet. This place looked like it had never been cleaned before- to think that the sheets provided to us would be okay for us to sleep in is mortifying. We decided to ask the reception to either clean or move our room as we could not sleep in those sheets. Whilst we moved rooms, the next room was only slightly better, with still stains on the sheets and an unclean bathroom. We decided to sleep on top of the sheets. The hotel is also located next to a Mosque (which i know is not in the hotels control), which will wake you up in very early morning hours. We were lucky that we were only staying for the one night and checking out early the next morning. We also cancelled our booking we had with them for another night after we finished our Mt Bromo tour. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone and I am extremely disappointed and angry at how revolting the state of the room was."

"Overall, the cleanliness of the accommodation was good, and the lobby was clean and fresh. However, when the AC was turned off, there was a lingering cigarette smoke smell in the bathroom. The location is perfect for those who enjoy walking, with easy access to Tunjungan Street, Tunjungan Plaza Mall, and downtown Surabaya. There are also several local food vendors and fast-food options nearby (McDonald's, Pizza Hut, Burger King, Richeese Factory), as well as a few coffee shops. There was an issue with the air conditioning in the room; it was quite noisy, making it difficult to sleep soundly. I woke up several times in the middle of the night due to the slight heat and noise. I called reception late at night about the issue, and a technician arrived 20-25 minutes later. The room was not very soundproof. During the day, I could hear the cleaning staff working in adjacent rooms and the sound of the shower running. Outside noise, like vehicle sounds, was also audible, suggesting the windows weren't very well insulated. The breakfast menu offered a standard taste, with a selection of Indonesian, Western, and local snacks. The staff were quite friendly."

All in all, not the best sleeping opportunity, certainly not for us!?"
