Amazing

IillfeAfter visiting the volcanoes and waterfalls, we took a break in Surabaya and stayed at this hotel. From the moment we walked in, we kept exclaiming how beautiful it was! Even though it's old, it has a beautiful historical charm and a great vibe. My husband said he wants to stay in hotels like this from now on – it was excellent. The location is also very convenient, right in the city center, making it easy to explore and find places to eat.

Kkenskistaying at Kampi for staycation during Christmas holiday. near TP and Tunjungan Street (you can walk, just around 5-10mins walking distance). there was Apsari Park and a lot of food stall from local seblak, fried rice to Burger King, McDonalds, etc. there was one pub/club just across the street from Kampi. the room was quite spacious, though they had no bathtub. first thing first, they provided each roomi with android TV, so you can stream your favorite show on netflix, prime video, etc. definitely will be back here for another short vacation.

WWzishanThe cleanliness of the duvet in the room needs improvement; there were several blood stains on it. I brought my own four-piece bedding set, originally thinking I wouldn't use it since I was only staying one night. However, my child found multiple dirty spots on the duvet, so I ended up using my own bedding set.

Llily_830110On a business trip to Surabaya, I was lucky to find a relatively new hotel at a reasonable price. The room was decent, not too small for two people. However, I was really dissatisfied with the service. In the evening, I realized our room only had two bath towels and no hand towels, so I called the front desk to ask for some. The staff member who came asked for dirty towels in exchange. I explained I didn't have any dirty towels to give, I just wanted extra hand towels. The staff member said it wasn't allowed, claiming hotel policy states a room can only have two bath towels, and any additional ones would be charged. What??? I've stayed in so many hotels, and this is the first time I've heard of such an absurd rule. In the end, we had to make do with just the two bath towels. The front desk later called me to say they only had bath towels and no hand towels either... Additionally, the hotel provides two bottles of drinking water, and any more cost money. The room itself was acceptable, but the service is far from what you'd expect from a 4-star hotel. I hope they can improve.

GGuest UserVery good hotel. The service and staff are some of the best i have seen so far. The taste of the food included in the breakfast is very good to. Rooms are clean and the housekeeping doesnt mess with your stuff when your not there. The only stuff i can think of this hotel could improve on is stuff others mentioned before already: Very loud traffic,some of the drivers think they are valentino rossi.. so some more soundproofing would be recommended. The airconditioning is ok in deluxe premiere and higher rooms,i booked a deluxe double wich ment me and my girl were being cooked alive but the staff upgraded our room to deluxe premiere for free wich was absolutely very nice of them. The water pressure is ok but could be a little higher. And the food despite tasting very good is being held warm on electri hotplates but they need to set these to a higher temperature for some of the food so that its still warm after it has left the kitchen. Final verdict: 4.5 stars out of 5 and would recommend this hotel to others but as foreigner who struggles with indonesian temperatures i recommend you book a deluxe premiere or better room.

人人生是一场马拉松Overrall you got what your paid. The breakfast is less choice but it is differs every morning. If you don't like to eat in the hotel , the City Grand mall in the step away have many choices. The room cleaning need to improve.

II live to travelHotel staff not so warm and friendly. Some do not understand basic english. I was left standing for no reason. Only when i asked what am i waiting for, someone “jumped” in and served me. Room was ok. Comfy bed. I slept well. But towels are were old with frayed ends. Gross. Location is less than 10 mins to Tunjungan Plaza, a popular mall. Traffic is mad so crossing the road is challenging. No bottled water but rooms have pitchers to fill up water from Dispensers outside rooms. Good initiative.

GGuest User📍Location (+) Located in the city center, convenient access to many tourist spots in Surabaya. There's Indomaret next to the hotel, which makes it convenient too. Wisata Rasa, a recommend place to buy edible souvenirs (like almond crispy), is also nearby. (-) I expected very walkable distance to Tunjungan Romansa, but it is apparently further away than expected. Still walkable but will take quite some time, and only walkable at night. Walking in the day is not very feasible due to Surabaya hot weather. 🏠 Room Facilities (+) TV, desk, 3 electrical outlets, wardrobe with hangers, storage cabinet, safety box, air dryer in the bathroom, and electric kettle are available. Water gallon for refills is available outside the room. (-) The lights in the room are dim, which makes the room unsuitable for work. Toilet issue is of low quality. No fridge. Cuttlery are provided with charge. 🏨 Hotel Facilities (+) Great breakfast with various options, including local delicacies like lontong balap. There are board games, mini pool table, and foosball. PCs are available in the lobby, not sure if it works though. Can store luggage in the receptionist after check out. Toilets are available in the lobby. (-) The hotel only gives 1 access card per room, even if I book a room for 2 people. Was excited to see congklak game but apparently the seeds weren't enough. 👥 Service (+) Friendly staffs. Could ask for extra towel. Could request for specific housekeeping cleaning time.
