Hotel Majapahit Surabaya MGallery is absolutely stunning, though it might be a bit spooky if you're staying alone. Considering how long it's been around, the service and facility maintenance are quite decent. Breakfast: The food quality is good, with a wider variety compared to hotels in Bali, and it's not just typical 'Western' fare. Cleanliness: There are a few minor details that could be cleaner, but it's not a deal-breaker. Facilities: The power outlets seem to be British standard. There's one adapter in the room that can convert to European standard. I recommend bringing a power strip as one outlet won't be enough. Also, the outlets by the desk are linked to the master switch by the bed, so they lose power when you turn it off (this is crucial to remember). I suggest using the outlets near the floor by the bathroom door, as they are not connected to the master switch.

Awesome, the location is strategic in the city center. It's perfect if you want to walk around the downtown area, and you can easily find breakfast places on foot. There's also a Family Mart nearby. Thank you!

It's a great place to spend nights, since it is located in center of the heart of Surabaya, near the largest shopping mall in the city. The breakfast is tasty n complete. The room is quite large for family with kids

My overall stay at the DoubleTree by Hilton Surabaya was excellent. The hotel is conveniently located in the city center, with easy access to restaurants, shopping malls, and attractions. The hotel itself is modern and comfortable, with spacious rooms and very comfortable beds, ensuring a good night's rest after checking in. The staff were very friendly, warm, and proactive. The breakfast offered a wide variety of options, including Western, Chinese, and local specialties, all of good quality. The hotel facilities are comprehensive, with a swimming pool and gym, making it suitable for both business travelers and tourists. Overall, it's a highly recommended hotel. Its location, room comfort, and service are all major advantages, and I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit to Surabaya.

The hotel's location is excellent, really close to the mall. It's a bit old, but the staff are very welcoming and always quick to respond if you need help.

Aria Centra hotel in Surabaya: Great Stay with Outstanding Service! I stayed at the Aria Centra Hotel Surabaya for four nights. The location is perfect—close to all the interesting places in the city. The breakfast was very good, and the breakfast manager, Mr. Yoga, was incredibly friendly. He always made me a Cappuccino and informed me of the daily specials. The reception trainee staff Mr Ibrahim helped me booking Grab cab to airport with advanced features of Grab and facilities at reception are of a good standard. My only feedback is that the linens, bedsheets, and towels look a bit old but the house keeping staff were too good. Overall, my stay was very comfortable, and I highly recommend this hotel for its location and excellent staff.

The Life Hotel City Center is the first place I check everytime there is event placed at Surabaya Expo Center. The location is excellent. The food is delicious. TV, air conditioner, water heater are working well. Cleanliness need to be improved more. But overall, this place is awesome!

The location is in the city center, making it convenient to take a taxi to the zoo, Gubeng train station, Submarine Museum, and Cheng Ho Mosque. There's food available on the ground floor (the Indonesian congee in picture two), so if you arrive at night, you don't need to leave the hotel to find something to eat, and it seems like it's also available at lunchtime. There's a bar on the ground floor where you can buy drinks, but if you want individually packaged drinks, you can simply exit the hotel lobby and turn left (north) to the convenience store next door, which is very convenient. The room itself is decent; the air conditioning works well. The hotel doesn't provide bottled water, but it does offer disposable slippers, toothbrushes, and a hairdryer, so the amenities are quite acceptable. The front desk offers free luggage storage.

Before I review I want to say all the staff were kind friendly and very helpful. If this review was about the staff you would have 100%. My problem is with the fabric of the hotel. It is dirty , shabby and living in the past. The first entertainment hotel in the city. Looking at it it was probably the last time it was refurbished. I feel that the staff put on a brave face and they are professional in their duties. Entering my room the sheets were grey had holes and stained. If you use an external laundry and hire your linen someone needs to change your contract!! Grey is not white. The walls are covered in hardboard and are dirty. Shower and toilet ok. Fire door did not self close. Hole in the wall where the self closer keeps hitting it. If this is a four star hotel it’s the staff who are keeping it there, a review though in my opinion would drop you to two stars at the best!! The owners need to reinvest!!

A very cheap choice. Not much facilities provided by the hotel, for example no dryer, shampoo and bath gel. The room has locker, pretty small, my luggage doesn’t fit in, so I just place my suitcase outside the capsule. I think it’s okay because Indonesia is quite safe. Staff are helpful, check in and out is quick. Nice for an overnight short stay if you have a low budget.
