Derby Swiss Quality Hotel ★★★
"Best hotel in Switzerland I stayed so far. It’s directly opposite of grindelwald station, just 1 minute (or less) walk away. The room is clean and comfy with mountain view no matter if you are staying at the front or back of the hotel. The staffs are really nice as well. Definitely recommend this to anyone who is travelling to Switzerland"
Jungfrau Lodge, Swiss Mountain Hotel ★★★
"Our stay was absolutely exceptional from start to finish. The service was truly impeccable, with every staff member going above and beyond to make us feel welcome. We were constantly captivated by the spectacular views from our room, which made for a stunning backdrop throughout our trip. To top it all off, the breakfast offered an incredible variety of delicious options. It’s rare to find a place that hits every high note so effortlessly - we can't wait to return!"
Hotel Kreuz&Post Grindelwald ★★★★
"The location is exceptional. While other hotels are right at the station entrance, this one has a fantastic large terrace on the fifth floor with great views. Even more amazing, there's a German-style sauna. You know, the kind where everyone showers and steams together in one space – mixed gender."
Hotel Grindelwalderhof ★★★
"Very clean, and the decor is quite new."
Alpenhof ★★★
"Such a cute little hotel right by Grindelwald train station! Only thing is that it is up a really steep hill, no joke to climb up while dragging your luggage. Rooms were very roomy and clean. They kindly upgraded one of our rooms to a bigger room, which was really generous. Breakfast was simple but satisfying and delicious. There were cows at the patch of grass next to the hotel, which amused us greatly. Would recommend."
Romantik Hotel Schweizerhof ★★★★★
"Although the hotel is a bit old, it's generally well-maintained. The view from the room was absolutely stunning; my wife and I enjoyed dinner on the balcony while admiring the mountains – it was incredibly relaxing. The weather in April was also perfect, very warm. The breakfast had a great selection and was delicious. We'll definitely be back!"
Grindelwald Youth Hostel ★★★
"Excellent, worth staying. Beautiful view from the window."
Elements Lodge ★★
"Switzerland is really beautiful to live in Grindelwald. This hotel apartment is generally ordinary, but the scenery is really beautiful. If you want to live in the mountains, you need to choose what traffic is. Going to the center to shop needs to take the bus. It takes only a few minutes to take the bus. If you choose to walk for about 20 minutes, it will be very dry. The hotel can cook things but there is no range hood, so we can do it on the balcony, otherwise the whole room will smell of oily smoke. But watching the beautiful scenery cook and eat is also a special experience. It is worth coming once in a lifetime! But let me go for the second time, I will choose to live in interlaken or Tuen, young people are suitable for going to places with many people, and Greendwa is enough to go back and forth on the same day alone. Staying for 7 days is a bit boring"
Sunstar Hotel & Spa Grindelwald ★★★★
"Loved the view from the balconey. Service and attitude from majority of staffs are good. Newly opened swimming pool is fantastic after a day trip."

Belvedere Swiss Quality Hotel
"We booked two rooms for a family trip and asked to be arranged closer or on the same floor. In the end, we were given two floors... The room was spacious but the facilities were simple. The service attitude was excellent. They also arranged a car to take us to the train station for free before leaving. It was very close to the Dream Hill."
Hotel Fiescherblick
"The most expensive hotel in our France-Switzerland trip, so we had high expectations for it. However, after staying there, we felt that it was not as good as the other one in Zermatt. The room was not very big, the bunk beds were very narrow, and they were locked to prevent us from using the upper bunk, so the child would easily hit his head when sitting up. The communication was fruitless and I had a bad feeling on my first day in the German-speaking area. The pool charge was a bit stingy, the hotel in Zermatt had free spa and pool. All in all, not as expected."
Bergwelt Grindelwald | Alpine Design Resort
"I chose this hotel for my vacation in Switzerland. The corner room was beautiful, with a view of the snow-capped mountains right outside. The staff were attentive and helpful. The hotel breakfast was plentiful and varied, and the facilities were excellent. Located in Grindelwald, next to the First Mountain, it's perfect for a drive. The town is worth exploring. At just over 4,000 euros, it's definitely worth the price. Highly recommended!"
Aparthotel Eiger - Grindelwald
"I came back from a trip and have such fond memories of staying here. It's fun even without doing anything. I enjoyed the beautiful view morning and night, and made my own coffee, tea, and food. I had a great time :-)"
Chalet Engelshüs
"Beautiful, modern renovated and furnished. Well equipped kitchen. Spacious bathroom"
Grindellodge
"This hotel was fantastic. The view from the room was unbeatable. The breakfast was delicious. The owners were very kind and helpful. The room was cozy and extremely clean. We stayed 4 nights and wished we could’ve stayed longer. Highly recommend this hotel and hope to be back one day!"
Hotel Caprice - Grindelwald
"The hotel is very close to the train station, only 200 meters away, but it's located on a hillside, so dragging suitcases uphill is quite strenuous. The owner is rather serious and will explain the rules and requirements clearly and meticulously, and will also help you carry your large suitcase upstairs. The room is spacious and has most of the necessary amenities, although the hairdryer is a bit old-fashioned, like an antique, but it doesn't affect its use. The front desk is often unattended, but someone is always available to call; calling is more convenient in case of any issues. The balcony faces a range of mountains, offering stunning sunset views of snow-capped peaks—a truly unbeatable sight. Dinner on the balcony is a wonderful experience. I don't know if the owners are German, but they are very straightforward. When we wanted to change seats at breakfast, the owner's wife was very puzzled, saying, "You're already sitting here, why do you want to change?" For the next two days, she still led us to the same seats. The breakfasts seemed pretty much the same: various breads with different cheeses and sausages, plus yogurt, fruit, eggs, etc. Eggs are available in fried and scrambled versions with bacon; you need to tell the owner's wife and they will make it specially. The hotel also has a spa and sauna, which are free to use. The sauna requires a reservation an hour in advance. In summary, the location is excellent, the environment is great, and the room is clean, but don't expect to be greeted with smiles and hospitality."
Hotel Kirchbühl Superior
"Switzerland has beautiful scenery. The surroundings and rooms of the hotel are pretty good."
Eiger Lodge Chic
"The room had two single beds and a bunk bed, which was perfect for a family of four. The hotel breakfast was also great, with lovely views from the window. The hotel is super close to the Jungfrau cable car, and they offer a daily bus pass – remember to ask at the front desk! All in all, it's a good hotel."
Eiger View Alpine Lodge
"The hotel is located close to the mountain. If you have a lot of luggage, it is best to drive here. The parking fee is 15CHF, which is a bit expensive. The surrounding scenery is good. It is close to the snow-capped mountains. The room facilities are simple but clean."
Hotel Residence
"We stayed for 4days. Breakfast was very delicious. Also room condition was good."
Eiger Lodge Easy
"Great location, very convenient, and the breakfast was excellent."
Hotel Gletschergarten
"A super pretty little log cabin. The terrace opens onto a lawn where cows roam. Public transportation here stops running very early, but thankfully it's only a 10-15 minute walk to the train station, so it's convenient to come back at night."
Parkhotel Schoenegg
"The hotel is located 10 minutes from the train station. It requires a short walk and the road is suitable for carrying luggage. The hotel's breakfast is rich in variety, and if you choose a room with a mountain view, the view is really beautiful!"
Serviced Apartments – Kirchbühl@Home
"Amazing hotel with super nice shuttle service and great breakfast!!!"
