"The hotel location couldn’t have been better. Just a short stroll from Grindelwald train station, the hotel sits right in the heart of the village, with shops and a supermarket practically at the doorstep. It made exploring the Jungfrau region effortless — whether hopping on a train to the mountain passes or simply wandering through the charming streets.
What really stood out was how well the hotel is equipped. The amenities went beyond what I expected, even compared to my previous stay at an upscale property in Lucerne.
Breakfast was sumptuous . Each morning, we enjoyed a generous spread in a bright breakfast room with lovely views of the surrounding peaks.

"The hotel was located in the middle of the hill, just like many of the hotels in Grindelwald. There was free bus in the area so it was easy getting up and down. Yet, the bus service stops at around 6 or 7pm, and you will have to walk up the hill from the train station for about 20 minutes. Also, potentially because it was in the middle of the mountain or it was winter, it felt very dry in the middle of the night. It would be nice if there can be a humidifier in the room.
However, the view of the room is absolutely worth it. You can look at mountains like Eigerblick just from your room and the breakfast buffet, and it is extremely breathtaking.
The breakfast buffet included was decent, with fruits, bread, cereal, some hot food and drinks. In particular the eggs were very nicely done.
The bathroom looks a bit old-fashioned and narrow, with slightly insufficient lighting, but overall it was clean and good.
The service was generally good. We were greeted with great smiles and friendliness by the reception and staff at the breakfast buffet.
Overall it was an amazing stay and I would recommend it:)"

Excellent hotel! Super close to the train station with fantastic room views. The staff were incredibly friendly and even gave us chocolates when we checked out. They also arranged a car to take us back to the station.

South-facing double room with an amazing balcony! Absolutely worth the price. You get a direct view of the snow-capped mountains and slopes, and sitting on the balcony in the evening feels fantastic. Slippers are provided. It's the first building next to the train station, so the location is superb and surprisingly quiet. The soundproofing is also good; the only noise was a creaking sound when the next-door neighbors opened and closed their balcony door. The stay was quite comfortable. The breakfast wasn't great; there wasn't much to eat, just two slices of toast, some eggs, and a drink. The restaurant food was also just okay, I still couldn't get used to it.

The hotel is uphill at the other end of grindelwald, not too close to Grindelwald station and Coop, fortunately the door is bus 121, 122, 123, but at first I saw Google map that it was a 15-minute walk from the train station only, but I knew it was quite hard to push luggage up the slope 
Fortunately, it is close to Pfingstegg and First cable car stations, and Jungfrau must either take bus 121, 123 or train to Grindelwald Terminal station, change to the Eiger Cable car, or go to Grindelwald station and take the Train to Kleine Scheidegg
Although I live up to 4/F, the room has no air conditioning, so insects have entered the room🫨
But the scenery is beautiful, the room is big, the worst thing is no refrigerator, can only cook the noodles in the room
Breakfast itself thought there was very little food, but you can order hot drink and egg separately, which is quite good
Although seeing hotel restaurant dinner seems to be praised by many people, but too expensive, the cheapest is the 4-course menu d fine din, have to over CHF100

This hotel is very good, in the middle of the mountain, quieter and more comfortable than the hotel on the roadside. The room faces the peak. There is its own parking lot, breakfast can be eaten until 11 o'clock, the variety is more, there is hot food. After checking out, it is no problem to continue to stop until the afternoon to play. The service staff are very enthusiastic. The room has slippers, the quality is very good, the minibar is free, there is a gym and spa.

The hotel staff was extremely accommodating and helpful! Everyone wore a smile as they greeted us. The location is great and the view of the mountains is unbeatable. Will definitely be staying here again on our trip back! Shuttle service is super convenient (Joao was great and unmatched driver) getting to and from hotel/station.

Grindelwald Youth Hostel offers a clean, comfortable stay with amazing mountain views and very friendly staff. The shower had steady hot water, and the hostel is easy to reach by taking bus No. 122 from the main station. The room did not have a hairdryer, but one could be borrowed for a 10 EUR cash deposit, which was refunded at check-out. Although the hostel is a bit uphill and not the easiest to reach, the peaceful atmosphere and good value make it worthwhile.

The room was new and cozy. It was quite spacious and had a balcony with a view of the snow-capped mountains. The breakfast was simple but delicious, especially the croissants. The location is on a hill, about 950 meters from the train station, which was a bit tiring to walk up with luggage.
