Guayaquil in Ecuador, if not for the special situation of 2020, Chinese people rarely pass. The hotel is located on the Malecon Riverside (across a local main road) by the famous local Guayas River. Before arriving in Gua, I contacted the hotel in advance to arrange a pick-up by email. After leaving the airport, I could find myself holding a sign. The pick-up fee was paid to the front desk of the hotel at $10, and the driver gave a tip of $2. The superior twin room booked is large in size, and the room is also equipped with a small refrigerator and a table, and slippers are not provided. There are wall-mounted air conditioners. The front desk of the hotel can speak English and has a very good attitude. After arriving, I found that the business center was closed due to the epidemic, but the front desk could still help with printing. There is an open space with a roof on the second floor of the hotel, with tables and chairs, and a swimming pool next to it, which coincides with Christmas and a Christmas tree. It only takes about 10 minutes to walk from the hotel to the city center, such as the City Hall or Iguana Park. You only need to cross a road along the river. There is also a supermarket called Mini nearby to buy food and daily necessities, but there are many restaurants suitable for Chinese people. On Hotels.com picture 2 has a beach. This is not a beach hotel. It isn’t on a beach or near a beach. Picture 9 is the first picture of the exterior with a large, stately palacial building - which is not the hotel. Picture 10 is the second exterior picture- but it’s not the exterior of the hotel, unless they mean the exterior of the hotel is several blocks away. This is a clean, attractive, cheap, comfortable enough hotel near some fun places on a ramshackled street, looking out on to ugly buildings and feels a little sketchy at night. It’s not an old, grand palace on a beautiful beach. It would be a reasonable place to stay. The staff is helpful and friendly. The breakfast is good. The price is unbeatable. However, it’s easy to find a much nicer hotel for only al little bit more. It’s shameful that they put those pictures in their photos, leading viewers to believe the place was something other than what it is. It’s even more shameful that reviewers give 4 and 5 star reviews like it’s a fabulous resort destination!

I liked the location, close to the Malecon, parks, shopping, banks and restaurants. The hotel has an elevator and I was on the top 4th. floor in a large single. Too large since the 40 ” tv was too far from the bed on the opposite side of the room. Keep in mind this is an older hotel and the furniture is spartan and the bed was hard but o.k. for me. Bathroom was remodeled and the shower had an all glass front. Plenty of hot water but tricky to maintain a nice temperature. Wi-fi is excellent! Staff was helpful. I had central air with no controls except off and on so I just toggled it, an inconvenience, but I turned it off at bedtime since it was not hot. It seems not as hot as previous years perhaps due to a change in the clime or maybe subjective. The California Restaurant is adjacent to the hotel.

This was the first time I was staying at this hotel and will definitely return. The location is perfect in the Puerto Santa Ana area, near restaurants, coffee shop, bars, etc. Most importantly, I felt very safe in this area. The service was good, except that the first time I had breakfast there, I was practically chased by the waiter to pay. I told him to put the check in my room and he mentioned that they didn't have a card on file. I had submitted my card when I checked in but I guess it was not registered by the receptionist for additional charges. I told him I would bring the card down. Well, he was already waiting for me by my door when I got to the room. It was quite annoying the lack of trust. I was not trying to walkout on the check! Anyways, the next time I went to have breakfast I made sure to bring my card. I found breakfast to be expensive by the way. You can find cheaper food around the area. I would recommend the hotel for its location as the rooms are ok but found them a bit outdated. I thought it was very nice that they offer hotel transfers at no cost. My driver waited for me for a bit since my flight had been delayed, That was really appreciated.

Very clean hotel and great hospitality. Even though it was my first time visiting Quayaquil I enjoyed my staying at this hotel. All areas very nice and clean the swimming pool and the gym were the two best spots for my two young boys. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about everything and answered all my questions and concerns I really appreciated. I will definitely come back in the near future.

I have stayed at many different hotel properties in Guayaquil. This by far was the best experience of them all. The staff here are extremely kind and helpful. They really go out of their way to make sure you have absolutely everything you need. Especially Christopher who works in the restaurant. Being vegetarian, it can sometimes be difficult to find food in Guayaquil, Christopher made that process seamless for me and was so kind on top of it all. I will continue to stay at the Radisson during my future visits to Guayaquil. They also have airport transportation, major win! Highly recommend this hotel over and above the “luxury” hotels in Guayaquil.

This hotel is a 5 star all the way !!! Please note that there is the main hotel and the suites next door . We stay in the suites and room has kitchenette , washer and dryer , fridge , microwave , coffee pot , pots pans etc !!! Close to everything and the service here is beyond amazing !!! Room includes a beautiful breakfast buffet every morning . The manager Delores and her team are so organized and nothing ever fall through thr cracks with them ! Sandra the front desk manager and Jose at front desk helped me with all the arrangement's i needed while in Guayaquil !!!! Dont hesitate to book this hotel !!! Shuttle service is included to amd from airport !
