This is our 1st time having such a bad experience stay. We were asked via WhatsApp to provide our personal passport info and to pay hotel tax via a payment link in the WhatsApp, it was received well in advance before our check-in. We found this way is very unusual, and due to uncertainty whether the message was from the property , we declined to pay the tax upfront. Then the so-called property staff claimed we disrespect them. I found absurd as we have fully paid our accommodation and told them will fully pay the tax upon check-in, of which it was a small amount as compared to the total 3 nights stay rate. After checked in, we found only one toilet roll is given without any tissue. So we requested for an extra, and becoz the weather was warm, we asked for a thin bedsheet instead of a given duvet. The property staff said need to charge us £50 simply for a thin pc of bedsheet!! We found this is ridiculous and giving us an extra toilet roll, they were unhappy. What is the cost of a toilet roll as compared to the high rate stay of this property as compared to nearby accommodation? They gave us an under expectation unit, with no view (see photo) , which is so much difference from the advertised photo. They objected to change room for us even though we told them the safe deposit box is spoilt on the day after checking in. Goodness was that they wanted us to clear the trash bins to bring it to ground floor on our last day ! I havn’t encountered this at all even in dome AirBnB units. We asked for Trash bags as their bin has not bag, the property staff said they provide no trash bags! So how are we supposed to help them to clear the trash if no bags provided? U expect us to buy trash bag and help them to clean? Totally ridiculous! HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED as the unit is small , odd room layout

The air conditioning works well, which is especially important during warmer days in Barcelona. The staff at Hostal Levante are friendly, polite, and helpful. They are always ready to assist with any questions, provide useful information about the city, and help make the stay more enjoyable. Their positive attitude adds a lot to the overall experience. Another great point is the cleanliness of the hotel. Common areas and rooms are kept very clean, which gives a sense of care and professionalism. The building itself has a charming, traditional feel while still offering modern comfort. Overall, Hostal Levante is an excellent choice for travelers who are looking for a comfortable, clean, and conveniently located place to stay in Barcelona. It offers great value for money, a central location, and a relaxing atmosphere. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Barcelona, whether for a short city break or a longer stay.

Good point. 　Good location 　But it's a little far from Sagrada Familia. 　Good water. 　There's a kettle, so you can boil it. 　There's a shared microwave. 　There are about four toilets in total. Bad point 　The location is very difficult to understand 　It's noisy during the daytime during the construction of the water pipe. 　The door is close to 3 meters, so the sound when opening is noisy

A very kind and welcoming woman at the reception who explained everything in detail; city maps and guides are also available on site. The room fully matches the photos and includes towels, a hairdryer, shower gel, and an air conditioner with adjustable temperature. Sound insulation is not perfect, but during our stay there were no noisy guests, so it did not affect our sleep. There is a shared fridge and microwave near the reception, which is very convenient. The location is excellent: a quiet and safe area with shops, cafés, and public transport nearby, and about a 35–40 minute walk to Sagrada Família at a relaxed pace. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for convenient, comfortable, and safe accommodation close to the city center.

My girlfriend and I pretty much enjoyed staying at this accommodation since it has almost everything you need for a good stay! It has a relatively good location with easy access to the metro and is not too far from the center of Barcelona. It's also surrounded by good and very affordable cafés and restaurants. One thing we wished for during our stay is that there was no kettle, so we couldn't make our own tea/coffee or just hot water. And I didn't understand if there was supposed to be everyday cleaning, because we stayed there for 3 nights and had none during the whole stay.

The hotel's location is quite good, and it doesn't take long to get to some popular attractions. When checking out, if you need to store your luggage, you'll need to prepare 1 euro to use the lockers.

Great location and room was spacious, clean and comfortable. One thing we didn't love was that the concierge desk was literally right outside our room (actually even blocking half of the door) which didn't allow for much privacy and slightly awkward interactions when having to leave the room for the toilet or to go out (and not great if you're a couple wanting some alone time 😅). The other rooms might have been fine, so I'd book one of those next time since the accomodation was otherwise good. Check-in and out was seamless. Would stay again!

The room they gave us was in a terrible location, very noisy due to the street nearby, and the room next to ours was under renovation every morning at 8 am sharp. Thankfully, they later changed us to a new room. The soundproofing wasn't as good as I expected; I heard moaning and groaning all the time. But I can understand that for a couples' hotel.

Excellent séjour, Le personnel est extrêmement bienveillant, aimable et toujours prêt à aider. Leur professionnalisme a rendu notre séjour très agréable. L'hôtel est très confortable, propre et idéalement situé, à proximité de toutes les principales attractions et des transports. Je le recommande sans hésitation et j'y reviendrai avec plaisir

The price is cheap, the two rooms are booked, and the room is very clean and tidy. The location is very close to the Arc de Triomphe, next to the small supermarket is very convenient to buy things, in general, there is nothing wrong with it, very good
