Outstanding
GGuest UserI have had a great experience here as a solo traveler woman! Safe neighborhood, only 10-15 mins walk to the beach. The room has everything you need, a comfortable bed, a proper kitchen, coffee, some snacks in the fridge. The booking manager and host Sandra is a lovely person who did her best to ensure my stay was smooth and checked in with me regularly to ensure all was ok! Sandra, hvala ti za sve!
AAli from PerthThe apartment was beautiful, spacious and comfortable. It was only a short 10min walk from the bus terminal through the main market area and there were also restaurants 1 min walk in a cosy square.
The views from the apartment were amazing!!
Marijana was wonderful in accommodating our last minute booking and really helpful showing us the apartment and map and tips for finding restaurants and landmarks. Thank you 😊
MMaxenceLAmazing location, right at the corner of the wall city. Very quiet area in an historical building, all renovated with really good material quality. The AC and double glazed windows help a lot! Very clean and very spacious room, I was surprise by the space. Very convenient for taxi drop off or 10min walk from the ferry. We could drop our luggages at 9:30 even if the check-in was after 1pm. The manager helped us to bring the suitcases to the 2nd floor. Will not hesitate to come back!
Llillian liangThe hotel rooms are strategically located in the core of the ancient city, close to the Diocletian Palace, very convenient to play, the ancient city is also very close to the pier, travel to Split is highly recommended to live near the ancient city. The hotel breakfast is an English breakfast at the local specialty restaurant next to the palace. It is very delicious and worth punching!
WWayneLocation was good as not far from the main train and bus station. Good communication beforehand from the manager asking me when I would be arriving and then providing details of the apartment and that it would be open with the key inside, so all worked well there. For a self catering style apartment no cooking facilities not a problem just thought there might be some, fridge, crockery and kettle in the room which were all good. Plenty of towels and bedding left for my stay. One thing was there was no communication about how to check out.
GGuest UserClose to 10 minutes walk from the center of Split
It's a bit difficult to find the hostel.
Located on the fifth floor of the building, not the hotel alone building.
Hotel view is very good.
It has a nice view of the harbor and the old town at a glance.
Friendly explanation and quick response are good.
GGuest UserThe room was stunning and very clean. We were fortunate to have the room with a south facing balcony, which was a heat trap. It is situated in a very central area with lots of shops, bars, and restaurants near by.
The things which let the room down was the bang average speed WiFi, that once several folk throughout the hotel were on went pretty slow, which is sometimes the case. The TV brand is Grundig, which I never heard of and is not got any smart settings. There is an option to project your phone/ipad to it. The only issue is if the Internet is slow then it sometimes won't recognise... Get new TVs!
Communication could be improved, the gentlemen who checked us in said to contact him with any queries, I did so and had no reply. They could do with a system to drop off used towels and collect new clean towels from the reception area of the hotel.
Hopefully this constructive feedback will be acted on as it is minors things as mentioned above that are lowering the overall experience for fellow guests.
EErnestina8We had the room up in the attic. The receptionist guy was very helpful showed the code to get into the building (will also have it printed on your receipt of your city tax payment). He made sure the boiler for hot water was on and also the air conditioning. Very nice amenities provided, body wash, vanity kit and body wash and the place was very clean.
Also the location is only a couple of minutes away from the old town so perfect for exploring.
GGuest UserThis was a rushed booking due to our original hotel not having our booking. Normally I spend considerable time going through reviews etc, but with the Azur Palace (hotel?) it was a case of needs must.
Unfortunately although we had booked a deluxe double in our opinion it didn’t match similar 4 star hotel deluxe rooms. I mentioned this to reception but they weren’t really interested.
Appreciate we were virtually in the centre of split, with space at a premium, but the view of a small alley with graffiti an empty minibar, not even plugged in, an irritating dim light, I think from the a/c that ensured the room wasn’t completely dark. After trying to close it down without success I went to reception, which had a note with a phone number to call. I gave up went back to the room and tried throwing a towel over it.
Also no bar, although there are a few within couple of minutes.
Overall disappointing.
VVika GrayClean room with very nice bedding. Great location—about 10 minutes walk from the airport shuttle and right next to the old town. Unfortunately the check in process wasn’t easy. Nobody was there when we arrived at about 3pm. There was a phone number and an email address on the door but without a local SIM card we couldn’t get in touch with the host. Finally after we got a local sim and called the host they let us in. Also the description of the amenities is not quite correct. We stayed in room number 5 and it had no desk, kettle or bottles of water unlike advertised in the listing.
