Perfect location right next to the markets which is a great place to get food in the evening. Also very close to the water and sights like Sun and Moon Twin Towers. Everything was clean and tidy. Offered good selection of amenities like soap, comb, toothbrush etc. FYI foreigners, you need a Chinese sim in order to access the wifi! We would stay here again :).

Good hotel and location right next to Xicheng Road Pedestrian Street. Staff came to clean the room and provide complimentary free water daily. They also rang my room’s phone as a wake-up call which was much appreciated. There was an unfortunate smell of smoking/cigarettes when I first entered the room but this disappeared the next time the staff came to clean the room.

Minutes away from the river (where Sheraton is) and the pedestrian walking street - lots of food and shopping options! Room is comfortable and bathroom is clean.

The hotel has a perfect location super close to river and to the city centre walking disctrict. The 24/7 front desk makes it also possible to check in at late night. The rooms were spacious, clean and modern. Free water was provided on a daily basis in the room. European chargers could be used at the multi-functional outlets. - This was especially very convenient.

Location is the best part and only good part about this stay. Room overall is fine clean enough but shower had no door so water got everywhere. They didn't replace our toilet paper sometimes and didn't make beds. However worst part of stay and why (wouldn't stay again is because the noise is unbearably loud we had kids on some kind of school trip who were so loud and the staff wouldn't do much about it. When I complained the second time kids happen to run screaming past and the receptionist did nothing. After kids left it was still incredibly loud due to poor sound proofing. Beds were so hard and lumpy I got bruises on my hips.

Don’t make me wrong, the hotel is good and position excellent. But the owner that coincidentally has a travel agency that provides touristic service was not much honest (I would use another word though…) with the price of a river cruise. On the boat we discovered that for exact same service (and it was a “government boat”) she overcharge us by more than 10 euros each and if weren't enough, she tried to force us to get a taxi back from Yangshuo for a crazy price insisting that we could not come back in other way (spoiler, we got a bus for less than 5 euros)… So, if wanna go for the hotel, fine, but do NOT buy any service from them.

I strongly recommend, the staff is very kind and the localisation in the very city center of Guilin !
