The room and the service were very good! The location is also very convenient. I booked a tour to the Longji Rice terraces through the hotel which was very nice and saved me to navigate there by public transport. The hotel breakfast is also good and has a lot of variety. Luckily they provide earplugs because the soundproofing is not the best and depending on the room neighbors it can get very loud.

Very nice hotel with great location and rooftop pool and terrace with amazing views of river and mountains. The staff was friendly but not a lot of people at the front desk spoke English. We also had a breakfast which was quite good. I would recommend to add some western choices like pancakes, ham, cheese, yogurt bowls.

Thanks to holiday inn express 3days service towards my family's. I feel grateful the room and all service is good. Particularly i like the breakfast buffet mix asian and western style. And the free laundry service.

Wonderful short stay in Guilin. You can also arrange trips and cruises on the Li River at the front desk. The staff was very polite and welcoming. Breakfast has few western options, but it is to be expected. I really appreciated that they opened the breakfast a bit earlier and allowed us to have more time since we left for a cruise at 7:25

We loved this hotel! The service is excellent, the staff team is trying to make your stay comfortable. You won’t miss anything here. They even have a area where the kids can play and feed with rabbits. The room in which we stayed is spacious, clean and nice decorated. The breakfast is good, there are many choices. Hotel is at walking distance from the elephant hill trunk and two rivers and four lakes. Reed flute cave is approx. 15 min drive from hotel. Will come back here again!

The hotel has great services including unlimited drinks and snacks. There's also a night where they delivered sweet soup. Overall a 10/10 stay and will highly recommend to my friends to make a visit.

The reception is good! The first day we arrived, he saw us took a lot of things from the car, even we haven’t check in or whatever, he came out and try to help us to take it! Super nice, kind, and helpful guy!!!

Behind the hotel, there is a huge lake and walking trail viewing Guilin scenery. Even if it was hot to visit some travel spots, we can enjoy walking around the hotel and shoot some good photos. The breakfast was not bad compared to a room rate. I cannot say all service and facilities are good to stay because it is too old. 😅 it reminds of an old-style Chinese hotel. We had dinner at a hotel restaurant and ordered the 4 persons package. It doesn’t taste fresh but not too bad. There were only two teams including us, having dinner. We had a calm and peaceful dinner time. The staff was very friendly. ❤️ However, if you care of the location and prices, this hotel is reasonable 😆

View: The hotel is right next to the famous Li River which has been extolled by poets across the centuries. In the morning you can see the sun rising from Guiling’s unique mountains. Cleanliness: spotlessly clean. Service: The staff is polite. There was some hold up at check in but nothing worth nitpicking on. Facilities: As a local I highly recommend the Chinese noodle at breakfast table. Other food is typical international fusion with a Chinese blend. The pool and the gym is a bit small, nice if you have to keep yourself at shape during travel but leaves room for more. The executive lounge is a bit rundown and old-fashioned compared to the rest of the hotel. The cafe at lobby level has an elegant minimalistic atmosphere.

The hotel itself is elegant and well-designed, with an amazing rooftop view overlooking the mountains and river surrounding Guilin — it’s the perfect place to enjoy a peaceful sunrise or sunset. We spent time up there just taking in the scenery, and it truly felt like a hidden gem. Breakfast each morning was another highlight. There was a great variety of delicious options, and what touched us the most was the thoughtful gesture from the staff — we once mentioned that our child loves broccoli, and the next morning, they made sure to include broccoli in the breakfast. Such personalized care is rare and speaks volumes about their hospitality. For families, the hotel has everything you could ask for — a playground, a claw machine with fun prizes, and a well-equipped gym for adults.
