The room was clean and tidy, perfect for two people. The hotel is located on the third to sixth floors of the Adelaide Stadium, in a quiet area. Breakfast is à la carte with a wide variety of options and excellent service.

As mentioned before, the location really depends on where you primarily plan to go. If you're mainly exploring the city center, I wouldn't recommend it. However, if you're driving and primarily visiting the Market area, I think it's quite good. The kitchen facilities are excellent, with a large oven and a dishwasher. The electric stovetop has plenty of power.

Great location! The airport bus stop is nearby, and it's just around the corner from Rundle Mall, which is super close. The University of Adelaide is also within walking distance. The hotel lobby staff were very welcoming.

No car park attached to hotel, have to drive to car park yourself or pay $55 for a chauffeur to drive it. Room service menu was fancy stuff from the downstairs restaurant. Nothing simple. Not even room service breakfast available. On the note of the restaurant downstairs this is where the “buffet” breakfast was and I use that term loosely. Shocking variety. Even have to do our own coffees right in a tiny corner of the the room. One coffee at a time while the line gets bigger. We have to get a special order for eggs because the scrambled eggs are just mush. At least the toaster worked. And the space fits maybe 20 which is fine for a B&B but not for a 16 floor hotel. We had to have breakfast at 8 to avoid the crowds waiting at 9 and later. In the room itself (we had a suite), there were light switches EVERYWHERE. And they were all so confusing as you couldn’t see what they said. Then the one in the bathroom you had to walk in and close the door to access it. No fan ventilation for showers. Bath mats being so thin gets immediately soaked after one shower. No face washers. Bench was too low for a bathroom. Hand towels way too low. The size of the bathroom was nice though and the shower pressure was good. TV remote didn’t work properly, could not find all amenities like coffee, tea, fridge even etc. No nice hotel guide folder to help us out. The “desk” was the tv cabinet when there was plenty of space in the lounge area to have a desk. Then we had a balcony with no chairs or table to sit at (can easily have some out there and bolt them down for safety). The temperature stuff don’t even get me started. Uncomfy beds and flat pillows. I ended up sleeping on the lounger as it was more comfortable. I don’t think I’ll be back anytime soon. Wasn’t horrible but wasn’t great. The staff were nice though which was a nice change

The beach environment is still beautiful, perfect for watching the sunset and also great for kids to play. We happened to be there during Chinese New Year, so there were many activities like lion dances and delicious food. There are lots of restaurants nearby and plenty of spots perfect for photos, including a romantic Ferris wheel. However, we paid an extra AUD 40 a night to upgrade to a sea view room, and the air conditioning in the room was terrible. Despite repeated complaints about the AC not working, they wouldn't move us to another room. After one night, it was so hot that we had to ask for a fan. In the end, the front desk offered some compensation before we checked out. They definitely need to improve the customer experience!

It’s in a good location in a one way road. Car difficult to drive in . So not so convenient if you arrange any pickups. Comes with basic bkfast which is okay but not so fantastic Room is adequate for couple. Nice location and walking distance to the public transport and the malls and market

Great view, decent service and location however I was put in the room next to the lifts and was kept awake/woken up for a large portion of the night until late, and early in the mornings on both nights of my stay. Complained at reception however they weren’t much help nor did they offer a discount on my stay. Very disappointed - otherwise great just make sure they don’t put you next to the noisy elevators!

Stayed here over Christmas. Room had a kitchen - dishwasher, oven + microwave + washer dryer + balcony over looking convention centre. Lovely stay, comfy bed, quiet'ish - the toilet sounds like a water pump everytime it fills up. Bathroom/shower is a little dated but functional. Parking is 30$ per day (reasonably priced - unlimited entry during the stay) Overall a great stay!! Will definitely comeback!!!

Breakfree North Adelaide

BreakFree Adelaide is a pragmatic choice for the high-frequency business traveler who views a hotel as a utility rather than an experience. Positioned on the western edge of the CBD, it offers a ”three-star plus” experience—clean, functional, and devoid of the price bloat found in nearby luxury hubs. The strategic advantage here is the onsite undercover parking ($22/night with a 2.1m clearance), which is a rare, friction-reducing asset in the city center. For those working in the West End or visiting the University of Adelaide’s Health Faculty, the logistics are seamless. The area's character is gritty but authentic. While the immediate hotel dining is unremarkable, the culinary upside is concentrated nearby. Specifically, Seoul Express on Hindley Street provides high-quality Korean fare that serves as a necessary antidote to standard hotel catering. Stay here for the operational efficiency; look elsewhere if you require aesthetic inspiration.

at the center of North Terrace, the location of the hotel is very convenient. It takes 15m from airport by vehicle and only 5m to tram and trail station on foot. equipments in the room are fully prepared and easy to use. the only cons is thin wall of washroom, which causes a little noise when someone is using the toilet.
