Zurich Hotels with Gym

After surviving a passport control queue that felt long enough to qualify as a second flight, walking into 25Hours Hotel Zurich was pure bliss. We’d booked a Large room for our first Valentine’s weekend together, and it was a brilliant call - spacious, beautifully presented, and hitting that elusive sweet spot between ”industrial-chic” and ”actually comfortable.” The showstopper (quite literally) was the glass shower cubicle standing proudly in the centre of the room. It’s a bold design choice that we loved, and for those who aren’t quite ready to share that much with their partner, it’s easily screened off for a bit of privacy. The free mini-bar and designer coffee were lovely surprises that made us feel like VIPs, and the smart TV’s screen-sharing was a total win; mirroring Netflix from our phones was effortless, making our late-night movie plans a breeze. The staff were truly excellent. We turned up an hour before the official check-in time, but instead of being sent away to wander the streets, the receptionist checked us in immediately with a genuine smile. Furthermore, after we indulged in slightly more red wine than was perhaps wise the night before, the team graciously allowed us a late check-out with zero fuss and no extra charge. That level of empathy is rare, in my experience. If you want high-quality, spotlessly clean, and wonderfully quirky accommodation in a prime Zurich location, look no further. It even smells fantastic - I’m convinced there’s a designer scent being pumped through the air conditioning. (Note to management: if you sell that fragrance in a bottle, please let me know - I’ll take five!) We had a highly enjoyable, relaxing stay and we will definitely be back.

Great hotel with fantastic, spacious rooms and really friendly service, from the bar staff to the front desk. It's wonderfully quiet, the beds are superb, and the facilities are excellent. And of course, don't forget the free bikes you can borrow! The complimentary minibar and the great in-room box are always a nice touch too! Would happily stay again!

I came to Switzerland to enjoy the beautiful views, scenery and everything this amazing country has to offer, so I wasn’t expecting my hotel stay to become such a special part of the trip. ❤️🇨🇭 A big thank you to the Front Office team at Crowne Plaza Zurich for making my birthday so memorable. Even though I spent most of my time out exploring Switzerland, coming back to such a thoughtful birthday surprise made the day even more special. A special thank you to Sophie, who noticed that it was my birthday and took the time to arrange everything. The flowers, chocolates, champagne and the beautiful room setup were such a lovely surprise. It was such a thoughtful gesture and honestly made me feel very special. Thank you to Sophie and the whole Front Office team for going the extra mile. ❤️

Facilities: The room was spacious with several floor-to-ceiling windows, but the TV wasn't smart and couldn't screen mirror. One of the bedside outlets was broken and didn't work. There was no complimentary bottled water, but there was a kettle for purified drinking water. No refrigerator. Environment: It's right next to the train station, two stops away from Zurich Central Station. There are Coop and Migros supermarkets nearby, which is very convenient. Service: The staff were very helpful. Cleanliness: It was reasonably clean. Overall, it would be pretty good value for money if it were a bit cheaper.

Hotel is a 10 min walk from the bus station which connects to the train from the airport. The same bus station that takes to the central train station. It costs about 12CHF to 18CHF to or from train station. Hotel provides free rental bicycles which is very convenient. Facilities are OK. Room size is reasonable. Be aware that the uncovered glass of the shower may not suitable for all if privacy is important. The room we stayed were extremely hot. While it is only 14°-18° outside, the room temperature is definitely 30°+. It made hard to wear the proper clothing to fit the temperature for the day. No aircon, the only way to cool the room down is to open the side window which leaves no wall from the room to outside of the building. Yes, the only barrier are a couple of metal bars between the desk against the window to outside the building from our ninth floor room. Plus the window can closed by itself, you need to reopen it multiple times if you want the cooler air for a little longer. It’s hard for a hot night sleep. Breakfast is good and has good variety of the food and drinks. It costs 24CHF p.p. if it is pre-ordered. If stays in the same room, no, it is not recommended to stay here. It may have other rooms that are not as hot as the one we stayed.

Great room which was well-designed with everything we needed. The service was excellent, despite not being staffed or having a reception desk at the property. The self check-in is very easy but unfortunately I had to contact the hotel to receive the information on how to do this as I hadn't received it. Once I'd checked in online I could see that they'd sent me some messages telling me how to do this, but I could only access this information once I'd already checked-in so I'm not sure how I was supposed to see the instructions before then. Thankfully it was easy to contact them and they were very helpful in sending me the information. They were also very speedy in providing extra pillows which we requested when we were there. As well as an improved system for sending the check-in information and additional pillows, extra hangers and hooks/rails to hang towels would be beneficial but these are all minor points. We were very happy with the room and the service we received.

The hotel reception was average, and the room was too small, with no space to open my suitcase. It's not too far from the train station, and even though there's an uphill walk from the station to the hotel with luggage, it wasn't too tiring. Due to my own oversight, there was a huge difference between the price I booked in advance and the same-day rate, and my attempt to get a partial refund from the platform was unsuccessful.

Please be careful of hidden charges when checking in. The room itself was fine, but the front desk service wasㅠdisappointing. They should clearly explain any additional costs to foreign guests before charging them. For example, although I stayed alone, I was initially charged city tax for two people without any confirmation. The receptionist also asked about breakfast very quickly, and I thought it meant I could skip it. However, they were actually asking if I wanted to add breakfast. They never mentioned the price (27 CHF), and since English is not my first language, I didn’t fully understand the situation. As a result, the breakfast charge was added to my bill without a clear explanation. I didn t charge their, but the whole experience was uncomfortable and could have been avoided with clearer communication. I don’t think there was any bad intention, but the communication was unclear and made the experience uncomfortable. This situation could have been avoided with better explanation.

This hotel shares a building and front desk with an Ibis. The room was quite spacious, with central air conditioning, a fridge, microwave, and basic kitchen facilities. It's about an 8-minute walk from Zurich main station, which is very convenient. Be aware that you need to actively request room cleaning at the front desk, otherwise, it won't be done. Also, the Wi-Fi signal in my room was poor; I'm not sure about other rooms. Overall, I was quite satisfied, and the front desk staff were very friendly.

Criticism for: Check-in was online only, no staff present. The location is right next to busy roads, including a tram line. Surprisingly, I still slept well. The water in the sink barely drained and would back up to overflowing. The space between the faucet and the sink was far too small. The staff spoke almost no German/Swiss German. Positives: The breakfast staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. The breakfast was good. The location (aside from the roads right next door) is great. You can get into the city very quickly. The room furnishings are modern, and the room layout is well-designed.
