2-Star Hotels in Zurich

The room is definitely on the small side but as a petite woman, this is definitely enough for a few nights’ stay. The bed was comfy and the arrangement of the room made sense. The best was how it’s literally just in front of Flix bus station & train station. So no matter how late you arrive, you don’t need to worry about lugging your luggage in the dark and walk for far to find the place. Overall, I enjoyed my night stay at Fred’s and would consider staying with them again if I were to visit Zurich again.

The people at Arlette Hotel were great! Very friendly and helpful. Zurich is a very expensive city and the Arlette is a very good value. The room (101) was smallish as was the bathroom. But we have come to expect that in the older European hotels. It was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed after a full day of sightseeing in Zurich and the magnificent Alps. The Arlette is just a short walk away to the bus and train station; and there is a great breakfast spot right next door and good kebab restaurant a few doors down. The gentleman at the desk even allowed us to check in very early after a long redeye flight. That was truly wonderful gesture. It says a lot about how caring the staff is. If we ever return to Zurich, we will be sure to stay here.

Had a lovely time staying here, it is located in the city area and the staff is friendly, there is dedicated locker to keep your luggages and personal belongings safe, the amenities are clean enough and towels are provided.

Two separate hotels with one reception only, be careful which one you are heading! The lift is extremely small, can barely fit in one people and a small luggage, several steps required before the lift. The room is okay for the price, relatively small but understandable.

The location and cleanliness of the room were excellent. However, there doesn't seem to be a permanent staff member at the hotel, so you need a passcode to enter. This means you must complete the web check-in by the day before your arrival to receive the passcode and room number via email from the hotel. It's absolutely essential not to forget to do the self-check-in beforehand.

This budget hotel offers a great overall experience and excellent value for money. The room was clean and tidy, the bed was comfortable, and it had all the essential amenities needed for a typical trip. The location is also quite convenient, with plenty of dining options and easy access to transportation nearby. The front desk staff were very friendly and handled check-in and check-out quickly. It's perfect for short business trips or vacations, and I would definitely stay here again if needed.

Location is good. Aldi, Migros, Coop nearby. Tramstop nearby 3 mins walk with suitcase. Easy self-checkin & checkout. My room (Basic Room) is quite big indeed, where I can open 3 or 4 suitcases on the floor. But only 1 small table and 1 stool in the room, you have to pack or put your things on the floor or on the bed. I don't mind at all noises during night time. But if you need to have complete slience to sleep, beware that you may hear laughters from people in the street and noise of car pass by, from time to time. The drainage pipe in my room is not perfectly set, there are some unpleasant smell in the washroom. I stayed 2 days here. The lift was working but the lights was out of order. I will stay again here whenever I go visit Switzerland… the lady ( staff ) is really helpful… the place is in the heart of the city and near the Zurich BH… I forgot to take pictures but this place is clean and organised well
