When you go to book a hotel in Cappadocia you will find many of all categories and you are truly spoiled for choice on which one to decide to stay. Mine was an excellent choice from many points of view. The hotel is not in a quarry like most of the area but are individual bungalows scattered across a vast land as if you were in a tourist village. I was there in winter otherwise you could also use the swimming pool. Spacious rooms with a small table outside for smoking, comfortable and warm bathrooms with everything you need. Excellent cleanliness and very warm rooms. They provide you with water to drink every day. Very good breakfast included in the price with buffet and preparation of hot dishes on the spot. Unfortunately the coffee isn't as good as most places. The location right at the entrance to the town where you can reach the center on foot in a few minutes. In short, I highly recommend it also for the kindness of the staff at the reception who are always ready to assist you and give you excellent advice. We booked the balloon through them at a lower price than agencies outside.

The room, bathroom is clean and smells fresh. It has windows so the fresh air came in ❤️ Breakfast is various, most important it’s delicious! Madam and her kids cooked it herself 🥰 feels like home The location is near to everywhere, to supermarket and cafes and to balloon ride places. The hotel itself has open rooftop which we can see the hot air balloon every morning, beautiful! I’m really impressed with the staff/owner, they’re really polite and kind to us foreigners 🥰 Thank you for your service. Hope we can back to your hotel someday ❤️

SSonia RaphaelWe booked 2 nights at the Hira Cave Hotel. Omar and Mehdi took care of all our requests during our stay! The property is beautiful, rooms are well maintained and the location is at the perfect vantage point to experience beautiful views (from their rooftop). 📱 They reached out to us before checking in to give us information about the hot air balloon booking, various other tours and helped us arrange an airport shuttle - this was all via whatsapp. They even helped us organise a taxi late at night to go into town / as well as back to the hotel. 🛜 WiFi is good here! There were also no issues with connectivity with 4G/5G ✅ 🚪 Initially we had booked the ‘Arch Room’(which has windows), but upon arrival in the evening, we were given the Deluxe Cave room (smaller & no windows). I believe it was an honest mistake, and once we pointed it out, Mehdi took us to see the other available rooms and we ended up choosing the Queen Room w/Jacuzzi. I really appreciate that he did this, and the problem was solved on the spot! 🛁 The Queen room is beautiful and spacious, and the bathroom is massive! It has a Jacuzzi that fits 2 people! Water pressure in the shower is great, and basic amenities were provided in the bathroom. 🌬️ There is aircon in the room, however it wasn’t as cooling as we had hoped. There was also a glitch where it kept switching off after about 30 min and then showed us an error. So we had to keep turning it back on - which was a bit inconvenient 🤷🏻♀️. The issue was brought up during checkout, and they said they will be looking into it. 👍🏼 🍽️ They have a breakfast terrace that is covered yet has a STUNNING panoramic view of the whole town of Göreme. They had a delicious spread of food which was freshly made, clean & healthy! They were also able to make scrambled eggs on request. Overall, our experience here was great. We felt taken care of, and it’s safe to say we made a good choice staying here! 🫰🏼✨ Special thanks to Omar and Mehdi for their kind hospitality! We would highly recommend this place to everyone, as each room is unique and will appeal to people of varied tastes. 📝 Notes for improvement: - Include an ironing board in the room/ cupboard - Include a full length mirror in the room. Your guests will thank you for it!

GGuest UserOVERALL: A lovely boutique hotel with beautiful cave and rock decor. I picked it because the decor is a mixture of both, unlike some other ones in the area. Service is amazing and the staff is really helpful. They offered to help transport my suitcase up to the bedroom area of my room. I went during the beginning of the season in late March and the hotel kindly upgraded me for free to a deluxe room, which has two levels, the bathroom below and the sleeping area above. In the room, Two windows open to views of goreme town and the balloons if you get up early enough to see them before sunrise. They also recently expanded their terrace offerings it seems ao now they actually have multiple, without different pillow set up. Breakfast is served open buffet style from 8-10am, variety is limited but there are some Turkish meze delicacies, menemem and boiled egg daily, sausages, a hot pastry, breads, cheese and ham, and for drinks - juices, tea and coffee, it's fair. AMENITIES: The bathroom is VERY spacious, but doesn't really come with much actually useful amenities. There are no additional personal care kits whatsoever - so no shower caps, cotton swabs, little things like that. There is a stand shower at one corner, a bath tub at another end and a toilet bowl in the middle with a sink and mirror as well on another area. Door comes with a full body mirror. It's beautifully designed by the layout is a bit odd and I think the hotel can work on adding little details to enhance the bathroom experience because there is totally potential for that. But hot water, drains and flush all work just fine, so it's definitely functional. LOCATION: The hotel is also conveniently located around 10-12 mins away from the famous Sunrise/Sunset point for balloon viewing (you get to see thw balloons take off there). The fact that it's walkable is amazing! It's located on a little side hill, and Goreme's main street is just a 20 steps slope away.

GGuest UserThis is my first time to travel in Cappadocia and so lucky to live in this cave hotel. The receptionist was very proactive and being nice to help us. He helped taking all the luggage going up and down the staircase. He also helped us to call to the travel agency and told us don’t worry when we were waiting so long tome at the reception for our tour guide. Also, the breakfast in here was delicious and we were being well-served. I was surprised that they offered a room service (fruit) for free on the rainy day. It is so warm to live in here for these days. Nevertheless, the scenery in here is spectacular and so relaxing.

The place is really well managed, the staff is really good and the way they treat the customers is commendable. We had a room on the bottom floor which was nice. Well connected to the main areas, within walking distance from all the main areas. The breakfast was great, views of the hot air balloons were worth every penny and the stay was amazing. If in Goreme, please do visit them.

From the moment of our arrival to Nevesehir airport till the moment of our departure to the next destination we felt welcome. Very family-oriented environment, exceptional hospitality, and smiley faces. We were given a tour of the hotel and amenities, then taken to our rooms. Our room was a cave room called the king suite with terrace (Room number 304). It was beautiful, authentic, clean, and had an AC. Beautiful spacious marble bathroom. Room authentically decorated in Cappadocian-Turkish style. Sheets were changed and towels replaced upon request. Lovely housekeeping team. Front desk very receptive and helpful, all hotel staff went above and beyond to tend to guests to make sure all were having a great experience. Given the nature of it being a family run hotel, it had warm friendly vibes. SETEN RESTAURANT – absolutely to die for! Best restaurant in Cappadocia hands down. Breakfast – best spread ever lots of choices. Served by lovely people. Dinner - It is a definite MUST. Especially the Muhammara, Mutancana, Testi Kebab, and Pumpkin Dessert!!!! I do advise you to book your tours with the hotel but make sure it is with the hotels Kelebek Tour company as we had a frightening experience with a company in city centre. Thank you to the amazing staff at the hotel that made our stay in Cappadocia memorable. We are avid travelers so believe me when I say this hotel is well worth it especially the fact it is THE best view to watch the beautiful hot air balloons fly over Goreme with many caves surrounding you. Special thanks to front desk - Duru, Amir, Sena, Murat - and including Seten Restaurant – Hussain, Utku and Serife – including anyone else I may have forgotten to name, you are all doing an amazing job. Cannot wait to be back!

The most wonderful, unique hotel experience we have ever had. Carus is built inside a hillside with so many stairs going up and down, you can feel you can fell you are living in an Escher painting. Our ”cave” room had tall windows but there are evidently others without. It was beautiful and the view from the roof restaurant at down with the hot air balloons rising was breathtaking. The sunset views just as spectacular. The heated pool is an experience in itself, carved into the high ceiling cavern.

We were met at the hotel by very friendly guys who told us everything and showed us everything! thank you very much Begimai!!! The girl greeted us like old friends! The hotel is located on the highest point of the city and from a very authentic terrace you have a gorgeous view of the entire city! It would be a wonderful evening spent on the terrace with exactly the same enthusiastic guests! Breakfast is worth a special delight! Abundance of everything! and also with this view I recommend this hotel not only because of the view, but also the excellent attitude towards guests

GGuest UserThe best hostel I have ever stayed in! And I have stayed in many. The hostel is small and has a cozy family feel. The team are super friendly and welcome you into their family along with the dogs Hector and Critan! Breakfast is included and includes multiple courses or home cooked hot and cold dishes with a fresh menu every day. This is accompanied by endless complimentary tea, coffee and water from 8am -midnight. You are regularly greeted with snacks of fruit or home cooked sweets if you take some time to enjoy the rooftop terrace and spectacular views over Goreme. It is excellently located just off the main streets of Goreme and walking distance from the local bus station. From hot air balloon flying to multiple languages spoken there is nothing the manager can’t help you with and nothing is too much hassle. You stay in a large cave where you are asked to remain silent and respectful. It is cool, peaceful and the beds are comfy and the room super clean. The bathroom facilities are good although there are only 2 to share so at busy times you may have to wait. Overall this is a fantastic hostel and I could have happily spent my entire holiday there. Kamelye is an absolute must when visiting Cappadocia! Private rooms are available.
