I wanted to stay in a cave hotel in Turkey, so I chose this hotel. Since it is located in Göreme town, I was able to see the hot air balloons very clearly and up close. Most importantly, the staff were incredibly friendly and kind. The breakfast was delicious and offered a wide variety of food every morning. There were also some adorable dogs at the hotel, including a cute puppy, which made the experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Cappadocia. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and honestly, I have nothing to complain about. It was a wonderful stay from start to finish.

We had an absolutely wonderful 2-night stay at Noah’s Ark Cave Hotel. Staying in a genuine cave room was such a unique and memorable experience, and the room was comfortable, clean, and full of character. The host was exceptional—friendly, caring, and always willing to help with anything we needed. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed and well looked after. The team also assisted us with booking our hot air balloon flight and Red Tour, making our Cappadocia trip completely stress-free. The breakfast was delicious, with a great variety of fresh local food, and the location was perfect for exploring Göreme and enjoying the beautiful views. Thank you for making our stay so special. We booked 2 nights at the Hira Cave Hotel. Omar and Mehdi took care of all our requests during our stay! The property is beautiful, rooms are well maintained and the location is at the perfect vantage point to experience beautiful views (from their rooftop). 📱 They reached out to us before checking in to give us information about the hot air balloon booking, various other tours and helped us arrange an airport shuttle - this was all via whatsapp. They even helped us organise a taxi late at night to go into town / as well as back to the hotel. 🛜 WiFi is good here! There were also no issues with connectivity with 4G/5G ✅ 🚪 Initially we had booked the ‘Arch Room’(which has windows), but upon arrival in the evening, we were given the Deluxe Cave room (smaller & no windows). I believe it was an honest mistake, and once we pointed it out, Mehdi took us to see the other available rooms and we ended up choosing the Queen Room w/Jacuzzi. I really appreciate that he did this, and the problem was solved on the spot! 🛁 The Queen room is beautiful and spacious, and the bathroom is massive! It has a Jacuzzi that fits 2 people! Water pressure in the shower is great, and basic amenities were provided in the bathroom. 🌬️ There is aircon in the room, however it wasn’t as cooling as we had hoped. There was also a glitch where it kept switching off after about 30 min and then showed us an error. So we had to keep turning it back on - which was a bit inconvenient 🤷🏻♀️. The issue was brought up during checkout, and they said they will be looking into it. 👍🏼 🍽️ They have a breakfast terrace that is covered yet has a STUNNING panoramic view of the whole town of Göreme. They had a delicious spread of food which was freshly made, clean & healthy! They were also able to make scrambled eggs on request. Overall, our experience here was great. We felt taken care of, and it’s safe to say we made a good choice staying here! 🫰🏼✨ Special thanks to Omar and Mehdi for their kind hospitality! We would highly recommend this place to everyone, as each room is unique and will appeal to people of varied tastes. 📝 Notes for improvement: - Include an ironing board in the room/ cupboard - Include a full length mirror in the room. Your guests will thank you for it!

We booked 3 rooms for a group of 7 people. The air conditioner in one room was not working. When contacted, the staff who was first sent to check, insisted the AC was working and then said it was not the hotel’s problem. This was surprising and disappointing from a pure service perspective given the high reviews this property has across several booking platform. The lady in charge of the evening shift eventually agreed the AC was not working and gave us a basket of fruit as an apology but they were not able to fix the issue until the next day and provided some pedestal fans overnight. They again provided more fruit and bottled water the next morning before we left for our day tour as another apology. However the service (especially the initial reaction by the staff) and amenity scores are heavily impacted by this experience. Another issue was a slight leak from the bathtub in our room which ended up making half the floor wet afterwards every time someone took a shower. This again has resulted in a lower cleanliness and amenity score. The hotel were able to accommodate our request to have rooms on the ground level to avoid too much climbing up and down stairs (we had members of our party who had slight mobility issues) - which was a positive, however, these rooms overlooked the road which the hotel straddles and so fairly loud traffic can be be heard throughout the day and also very early in the morning (3:30am) from those leaving for their hot air balloon trips. The rooms don’t seem to have much sound proofing. Note: this is magnified by the fact that this road is at the top of a hill so motorists have to gun their engines to get to the top making the noise louder. These few issues overshadowed what was otherwise a decent experience. The breakfast buffet is great with a wide variety of options - service was great at the buffet. The rooftop terrace where you can sit and relax and watch the hot air balloons fly overhead early in the morning is another highlight.

I really liked this hotel; the cave hotel concept is perfectly executed. The location is excellent, the room has all the necessary amenities, and the rooftop offers a great view for watching the balloons at sunrise. Breakfast is a standard buffet: vegetables, eggs, sausages, and a large variety of sweets and fruits. The only downside is the lack of windows, which causes a slight, but not critical, musty smell. The staff's service was outstanding – we had a plumbing issue which was resolved within an hour, and afterwards, they brought a fruit platter to our room as an apology. They also provided wine glasses for us to use outside the hotel in the evening, as per our request. Even though there were many guests during our stay, we didn't hear any noise in our room. Overall, for its price, the hotel fully delivers on quality and service.

Goreme Treasure Cave Hotel | Aza gets rave reviews, great value for money! This hotel is a sister property to Sultan Cave Suites, sharing facilities, but Aza offers significantly better value! The rooms are larger, have better views, and even come with their own pools. Crucially, it's much quieter than Sultan – Sultan's front-facing rooms can be noisy due to the restaurant and bar, whereas Aza is completely peaceful, ensuring a good night's sleep. If you value quiet, this is the place to be. (Sometimes you can hear hallway noise when people enter the room next door, but overall it's quiet. However, the stairs can be challenging for elderly guests). The breakfast is incredibly generous, with the scrambled eggs and beef being a must-try. The food is plentiful and satisfying. If you want to see the hot air balloon sunrise, you can head directly to Sultan's observation deck for photos – you get the best of both worlds. The hotel's recommended excursions are a bit pricey; I suggest booking through a restaurant owner in town for much better deals. The SPA experience was a wonderful surprise – professional techniques and just the right amount of pressure. It offers far better value than other places in town and is my top pick for relaxation. What was most heartwarming was that my non-refundable booking dropped in price upon arrival, and Trip.com proactively refunded the difference. The hotel even upgraded me for free to a suite with a fireplace! A staff member kindly helped chop wood and start the fire. Listening to the sound of wood chopping in the courtyard and watching the warm glow of the fire in the room truly enhanced the cave accommodation experience – it was unforgettable. The cave room was very comfortable, the pool view was absolutely stunning, and the overall experience was perfect. If you're coming to Goreme, you can't go wrong with this place!

This is a truly wonderful hotel 🏨. While it's located a bit high up, making access to Göreme town center a bit challenging, the views are absolutely stunning, making it well worth the effort! The breakfast buffet offers a wide array of Turkish dishes, and you can also order menemen, omelets, and scrambled eggs. In the mornings, the terrace is open to guests to watch and photograph the hot air balloons. Besides the terrace in front of the reception, there's another spot where you can calmly enjoy the balloons and take photos. Coffee and tea are available at the reception area. The photo opportunities can get crowded, but if you find the queue isn't moving, the staff managing it are helpful in ensuring a smooth flow for taking pictures. The room was comfortable; I stayed in a family suite this time. It was well-equipped with amenities like a kettle, coffee maker, and refrigerator, allowing for a very relaxing stay. The bathtub in the room was also excellent! The only minor drawback is that due to the cave-like nature of the room, mobile phone signals were nonexistent, and the hotel's Wi-Fi was very weak, requiring me to leave the room to use the internet.

We stayed here 3 nights. December. Simple hotel with an open courtyard & we were in quad family room. When booking, we requested for cave room as we see there are pics of room that does not look like cave. Upon arrival we were given non-cave room (because it's a slightly bigger room compared to cave) we like that it's at level 1. Right at courtyard. It is convenient & nice to just hangout there. We checked with reception and requested to stay in a cave room. The reception was very helpful & allowed us to change for the next two nights after showing us how the cave room looks. My teenage girls love Lucky the dog (part of the reason why we picked this hotel) after reading reviews, and there are also 3-4 cats. They totally enjoyed the stay having these cute company. Breakfast was good enough & location is good too. We took bus to uchisar, even to derinkuyu on our own. Not too tough. Bus station within walking distance. Only hope to improve is the cave room toilet can be very stuffy. And the shower area can be curtained to prevent water from splashing around. Overall we are happy with our stay. And all the staff are helpful & nice.

Great and friendly service from staff, exceptionally from Mostava. We checked in late at 8pm and checked out exceptionally early at 3am since we had day tour before checking in and catch hot air balloons when checking out, he kept our baggage all those times and after getting back from balloons, we had another day tour before catching the night bus, he kindly let us shower and freshened up even though we checked out and repacked our luggage at theirs. I’ve never had a place where they are so kind and understandable.

The most important thing about hotels in Cappadocia is that their names are easy to remember and pronounce, like this one, because you'll need the hotel name for airport transfers and booking activities. This hotel is several hundred meters from the main street. If you're sensitive to the sun, it's more comfortable to drive here. The surroundings are all fields with few bends, so you won't crash. The hotel has its own free and easy-to-park parking lot. That's why we rented a car the next day near Panda Spicy Hotpot and just paid extra to return it at the airport. I regret not renting one as soon as we landed. The rooftop serves a standard Western breakfast, and you can see the hot air balloons, but we had already left when they took off, so we didn't get many photos from the roof. If you wake up early, the hotel also offers an animal wake-up service, though not with wild animals. In my room, the bathroom drain had a sewage smell. It wasn't a big issue if I kept the door closed and the fan on, but I still hope the hotel pays attention to cleaning it.
