"The room was surprisingly spacious, more like an apartment hotel, with all the amenities and even a small kitchenette. The most impressive feature was the balcony. We were given a corner room, so we had a 270-degree panoramic balcony with views of both the city and the ocean. There are also other rooms with direct sea views, which are absolutely stunning. The hotel is about a ten-minute walk from the JR station, but it's only a two or three-minute stroll to Omori Kaigan and a small shrine. The hotel also has a natural hot spring with traditional Japanese bathing, but it was a shame that the family hot spring was under maintenance during our stay and we couldn't experience it."

There's even a shopping center (I think?) right next door, with a Nemuro Hanamaru on the basement level and a delicious izakaya (can't remember the name). A huge plus is they actually provided an extra bed for three people! (The Livemax hotels I stayed at in Sapporo and Tokyo wouldn't even give me an extra blanket, let alone an extra bed 😫)"

Breakfast was good with a nice variety of choices. One of the highlights was the bath and sauna on the 7th floor, which was perfect for relaxing after a long day of sightseeing.
