"Extremely satisfied! It's right next to the JR station, very warm inside, and super conveniently located in the heart of the main street. Downstairs, there's a convenience store and Hakodate specialty shops, which is incredibly handy. Highly recommend! Check-in and check-out were also super fast. The breakfast is amazing – if you buy it, I suggest leaving plenty of time to enjoy it slowly. The view from the window is also fantastic."

"Great location, very close to JR, and you can even walk to most attractions. On the way from JR to the hotel, you pass through a morning market where you can get really affordable crab. The room offers direct sea views, which is beautiful. The hotel's hot spring bath is a bit small, though."

"Everything from check-in to breakfast was fine, but the bathroom exhaust fan was very weak, so it often accumulated steam. Also, the walls were quite thin; you could easily hear conversations from the next room."

"The hotel is conveniently located just minutes from the JR station. The breakfast was excellent, offering a wide variety of delicious options. We particularly enjoyed the spacious and uncrowded rooftop onsen, which was incredibly relaxing. Our room was also very large and spotlessly clean."

"Pros: The twin room was roomy, provided the welcome drink with lots of choices (coffee, coke, soda, and wine) and even free ramen between 22:00-24:00. Staff in front desk was friendly . Cons: at least 10 mins walk to Hakodate station. I ordered non smoking room but still had unpleasant smell (luckily, window can be opened）and the room was not so clean at all."

"Cons: This hotel is consist of south block, north block and main block. They don’t connect each other on the upper floors. My room is at the south block. I have to pass through the smoking area, with poor ventilation that the smoke actually leaks to the aisle. The aisle and lobby at the south block looks old and does not look like an ordinary hotel that should have. I lived on the 13th floor and was surprised this is the only floor that no microwave oven provided. The water-flow is below average. It is one of the weakest among the hotels I visited so far. The pillows are bad, too small and not comfortable for sleeping. Pros: The room is big. Some equipments are high quality. The room inside is overall nice"

"Excellent choice for budget-conscious travelers visiting Hakodate! convenient location - easy to get around, with a short walk to the tram station. The tram connects you to many popular attractions around the city. Plus, the airport transfer bus stop is just a stone's throw away, with affordable fares to New Chitose Airport (13,000 yen). We also discovered a lovely 2nd-generation ice cream parlor right opposite the bus stop! The hotel's breakfast was impressive and delicious. Overall, the hotel offers great value for its price. We had a family room with excellent view for sunrise 🌅."

"Location is convenient: It's about an 800 JPY taxi ride from JR Station to the hotel. The hotel is less than a kilometer from the ropeway station, and right outside are the Kanemori Red Brick Warehouses with shops to browse. Lucky Pierrot burger and Komeda Coffee are also very close by. Room: There are rooms facing Mount Hakodate and others facing a different direction; both offer nice views from the window. Breakfast: It truly lived up to its legendary reputation. In the morning, there's seafood rice bowls, grilled shrimp, and a generous selection of fruits and desserts. Hot Spring: Located on the 13th floor, you can enjoy a relaxing soak while gazing at Mount Hakodate."

"The hotel is really worth the price! Cleanliness: good! Nearly perfect; there are still some hairs inside the toilet, but the rest is really good! Keep it up! Facilities: They have free water to drink near the elevator. I really love that! They also have an express checkout box in front of the hotel to save time! The wifi is good. The design is also minimal and luxurious~~ they also have shoes adjustment stick! the staff: They’re nice and do their jobs perfectly! Location: It’s around a 6-7 min walk from JR Sapporo, and they have a delicious place to hang out next to the hotel! space: my room has a semi-double bed, so it’s slightly bigger than usual. It’s a normal Japan hotel size! If you are tall or have a big body, you might find it’s uncomfortable, but for me it’s fine, and there’s some space to pack my luggage!"

"The hotel's location is good, about an 8-minute walk from Hakodate Station. The lobby and public areas are impressively decorated, but the room decor, however, was a bit plain, and the space wasn't utilized very well. The bathroom also lacked a proper wet/dry separation. There are two restaurants for breakfast: a buffet on the 1st floor and set menus on the 2nd floor. I had originally planned to try both options since I was staying for two nights. However, to my surprise, the buffet on the 1st floor required waiting for a table for over 40 minutes on both mornings, so I gave up. I ended up having the set menu on the 2nd floor for both days, which was decent. It was less crowded, and a set meal was quite filling for the morning. Overall, I'd rate it 3.5 stars."
