Lovely hotel, right on the beach with a little garden area out front with pomegranate and olive trees. Staff were friendly, professional and helpful. Rooms clean and comfortable. We stayed the first two weeks in September and it wasn't too busy, there were always sunbeds available by the pool and on the beach. The breakfast buffet was excellent with good choices. The bar food and room service options were limited but everything we tried was excellent. We only used the evening buffet once and the choice and food was great. We were disappointed that the á la cart restaurant was only open at lunchtime as we prefer a restaurant meal in the evening, especially when the weather is warm (31°). However, the pool bar food menu was good and we enjoyed some tasty lunches with good portion size, which led to us sharing items. The freddo espressos and cocktails were fabulous! The location is stunning, being right on the beach with beautiful clear blue sea, however, the road access to the hotel is down a steep winding road. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

From 20 tm 25may 2023 we have been guests in this beautiful hotel. The reception by Christina was very friendly. The rooms were picco bello clean and clean. Kitchenette is sufficiently equipped with servicing and panels. You don't have to go cooking extensive meals, but you can make some cooking, and toast iron is also present. Daily housekeeping came to clean up the room and if you want to clean up, including beds cleaned and clean towels. Every morning you could come down to the reception for coffee/tea where Christina also brought you a nice cookie and cake on a plate. Each room has a balcony with chairs and table. The hotel is located in the village of Metamarfossi. There are various dining facilities, baker and other stores with souvenirs ed. in the main street. Christina speaks good English and German and is very helpful. She knows where you can eat good. The beds were good, the kiss was synthetic and the supplement was not fully prepared. We had a good time and recommended it to everyone to stay at Hotel Vizona.

Although a little out of the way the hotel is easy to find. There are shops, a pharmacy and a supermarket 8 minutes walk away to meet any needs of small children. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful and the swimming pool is very good. We have been to this hotel before six years ago, so returning here was nice. The only downside, the breakfast did not have as good a selection of fresh fruit or variety of yoghurt. Although I love Greek yoghurt. At the rear of the hotel near our room the staff had taken to dumping any large broken furniture or carpets outside the corridor window. In addition the swimming pool and area opened at 10 am yet clean up preparation of beds and cutting did not start till 10. Other than that the hotel is excellent and should be used by anyone passing this way.

The most satisfying thing is the pick-up and drop-off service provided by the concierge. Not only a few days before arrival, the airport pick-up meeting point map and step-by-step graphic instructions were emailed, making the pick-up and drop-off service simple and convenient, and it is also free. It’s absolutely perfect!!

GGuest UserHad the most incredible stay at Anmian suits. First of all the people all from the owner Michale and the team were unbelievable. They were so kind and helpful with which beaches to go to, restaurants and in general everything we needed. The suits are quiet, modern, clean and have everything you would need! The rooms are so beautiful they make you want to stay inside all day as they have everything you need! The infinity pool was amazing overlooking the ocean. They have boat hire options which is a must as it’s safe and another wonderful way to see the island nearby. All in all this was one of the best stays we have had around the world. We will never forget it. And HIGHLY recommend if you’re looking for somewhere stay here!

GGuest User1) The hotel is new with excellent rooms. It also has excellent outdoor and indoor spaces.
2) I gave 4 instead of 5 to the location because the sea in front of the hotel has rocks and is very cloudy. When I say rocks, I mean lots of rocks, small, big and sharp. In a word, the sea is bad.
3) I gave 4 instead of 5 to the service because I was not informed at check in about the sharp rocks. I was cut badly by the rocks. You can only swim with beach shoes.
4) At the hotel restaurant, we ate pizza with mushrooms. The pizza was not eaten. Unacceptable for a 5* hotel.
5) There are beaches near the hotel, about 500 meters away, that you can go to with your car. They have sand, no stones, they are crystal clear, you can see everything at the bottom and they are not very crowded.
6) The breakfast is fantastic. It even has things you didn't think of.
Would I go back to the hotel? Of course yes. I will swim in the nearby beaches and eat in the village of Ierissos. It's an excellent hotel, but a bit expensive.

Even though we booked this Hotel when it was a TUI Blue, our stay was brilliant, the Hotel did lack a bit of kids entertainment but our 10 year old enjoyed the water polo and water olympic's and was happy to miss Kid's discos. our premium room 3318b had a fantastic uninteruted views of the sea, 9 being a connecting room the sound transmission from next door was a bit obvious from time to time. the staff worked tirelessly all day keeping the hotel and grounds very clean. the resturant was as expected, very busy at times but the staff always showed you to the tables and drinks etc were served very quickly.the Food was in our opion above average for an all inclusive. having a water park on-site was a great plus and one of the reasons we booked.i can see why many people return to the Hotel

The staff really do add the final touches to a great hotel, they are always smiling and happy to chat, nothing seems too much bother. The receptionist was extremely helpful with us planning a trip to Afitos, printing out maps and bus timetables, even giving us the card to the hotel and telling us to ring them if we need help at all while we are there. (Afitos is a great place to village, worth a review on its own and only 30 mins by bus). We had no trouble at all with sun beds, we generally went down by the pool or grass quiet area at about 10am, there was always plenty. One day, after the trip to Afitos, we got to the sun beds at 2pm, had no trouble finding a pair. The beach is ok but more cramped, had a day there but preferred the pool area. All the umbrellas, even on the beach, have a button on them. Press the button and a member of staff will appear and take your drinks/food order and deliver it to you. We paid by logging it against our room number and settled at the end of the stay. Break fast was very nice, every option was there, it was always fresh. There is an indoors seating area and an outside one. The coffee machines can get busy, but while you wait you can wonder why the cups have no handles. Rooms are nice but I wonder why the sink is in the room and not the bathroom? The shower cubicle is on the small side but the shower is high quality, powerful and I could always get the temperature just right. There is a Nespresso Vertuo coffee machine with the pods replaced, almost, daily. The Bacolod either catches the sun in the motor afternoon, depends on what side if the building you are. The balcony is a good size, with table and two chairs, but because of the way it is angled it private to either side. We were bed & breakfast so can’t comment on the evening meals. We did eat in the town each night which is minutes away. The restaurants in town are very good and has a great choice. The gym, inside and out, are very good, but try and leave them how you would like to find them.

The complex was very nice, clean and tidy. The breakfast was the same every day, but it was delicious! They cleaned the rooms every day. The pool was big and clean, the water was warm and nice! There was a choice of different lounge chairs and corners to relax! Very quiet and peaceful place! There is a large parking lot right next to the hotel, there are always free spaces! Their service was great, we would definitely go back again!

We had a magical holiday at ACROTEL Athena Pallas! The hotel and grounds are beautifully laid out, and across the (quiet) road from the beach. We stayed in the Armonia suites which have their own pool and bar, and was a tranquil retreat after a day of exploring the area. We also had an amazing dinner at the private terrace in the Lemoni restaurant. Massive thanks to Irini for organising this amazing evening, and for Michael and the Lemoni team for an outstanding dinner. We couldn't recommend ACROTEL Athena Pallas more, and are already looking forward to our next stay. Thank you to all the kind and helpful team at the resort.

GGuest UserThe hotel doesn’t have its own beach, but if you walk across the road there’s a public beach area and nearby independent beach bar that will rent you out the sun bed if you buy a drink from them. The public beach never ever ever gets cleaned but the local council, and the hotel seems to not mind at all. The beach gets over-crowded in the peak season by locals, people arriving from nearby Thessaloniki for a weekend, and other tourists, who all litter, leave their food/take-away wrappings and bottles right on the beach, and literally nobody is bothered. The sea gets quite wavy in the afternoon and all sea****, rocks gets washed on the beach, daily, and again, nobody is that bothered. Common, the hotel management, surely you want your guests to have a great beach holiday, put a pressure on the local council to clean up the public beach, or get a licence and take some cleaning takes yourself.

Just returned from a wonderful stay at Porto Carras and thought it was worth sharing our all inclusive experience. Hotel is set in the most beautiful setting the Marina is very picturesque and is the perfect place for a stroll in the evening. We paid £59 extra at booking for a marina view at booking through Jet2 and thought it was worth it. Although the pool/sea view all looked great as well. From the moment we arrived all staff where friendly and really helpful. We were initially given a sheet for All inclusive at check which gave details of the bar/restaurant opening times etc that we could use (attached picture) but feel that it would have been good to have a copy of the drinks menu and perhaps the restaurant menus at that stage which would have made it a little easier to know what was available to us, to make decisions about what days to book which place. As advertised, if going for a week, you can book into 3 restaurants separate to the buffet restaurant. 1. Pefko Seaside Restaurant This is a lovely restaurant set in between the pools and beach. We decided to go on Thursday as this was the Greek night. It was buffet style food, and had singers and greek dancing. We had a wonderful night and can recommend for something a bit different. Beautiful setting. 2. News Cafe Restaurant is inside close to reception and has an indoor area as well as outdoor seating. We were given an All Inc. menu that had a number of starter/main choices. Food and service were excellent, although your choice was limited to starter, main, and sweet, so you aren't able to have a salad with your meal as it was either starter or salad choice. Which we thought was strange on an All Inc.. 3. Marina Piazza This is the 3rd restaurant, but it is available to us use as a bar for a drink until 11:30 so we went on a few occasions for a change of scenery. Our booked meal had lovely food, and staff were really welcoming and friendly, especially Vangelis. The other nights we went to the main restaurant and all 4 of us loved the food. Whilst we were there, they had Greek, Italian, Asian, Seafood, Mexican nights, all with great tasting food. On those nights, they did have regular dishes as well. This restaurant has a number of outside veranda's, so you could sit in a different spot and feel like you were eating in a different place. Pros 1. Beautiful pools and beaches. 2. Perfect views 3. Fabulous food 5. Lovely rooms, very clean 6. Wonderful staff 7. Lots of beach staff always available to order drinks. 8. Boat trip across to town €4 each way Cons 1. Long transfer 2hrs 20 mins both ways. 2. We felt it wasn't quite All Inclusive, as there were some areas just not available to us unless paying extra. Also restricted menus at the other restaurants 3. A bottle of wine on your table would have been nice in the evening rather than keep asking for glasses. Also limited choice of wine in main restaurant. 4. Drinks sometimes didn't seem the same if paying. Eg

Firstly my sons girls blanket was taken from the room which we thought was just done by a mistake by the cleaners unfortunately the staff were very unhelpful and didn’t really care even when we explained she had it from birth and it’s very sentimental to her, so we spoke to the hotel manager but before we could get a word out he was very defensive and starting shouting at us then told us we were lying and his receptionist and cleaner where going to search the rooms which we agreed to but they went through everything opening our suitcases bags and backpacks. The blanket went missing on day 2 and we had been trying to get it back since then unfortunately we never got it back and the manager didn’t even apologise to us. Now onto the hotel unfortunately not great either the rooms were cheap and dirty. We only had a sheet in our room as our cover nothing else. The bathroom in our room smelt of sewage the door handle on the main door fell off and we had to try and screw it back on ourselves otherwise our room would have been left open. The food wasn’t awful but you get no variety you get 6 dishes on a hot plate and salad. The breakfast was the worst part it was eggs, tomatoes with grated cheese, and what was supposed to be bacon but definitely wasn’t then 3 pastry’s for you hot breakfast. Cold breakfast fruit a choice of 3 cereals with warm milk, and 2 cheeses and 2 cold meats with bread brown or white, so if you are a fussy eater this isn’t the place for you we ate out every single day. The toilets in the hotel don’t have locks on the doors so had to go back to room if I needed the toilet but only spent one day there in the end so wasn’t to bad for us. It’s very out of the way of everything so I would suggest hiring a car like we did as it was the best thing we did. All in all I would say avoid this hotel there are definitely better hotels for the same price.

We stayed at the Melissa gold coast hotel from the 11th until the 18th of october with a last-minute booking. We were pleasantly surprised by the hotel. It is a mid-sized, family managed hotel, located in the center of Psakoudia (Sithonia). It is very close to a good quality (private) beach, but due to the period we were here, it was not really beach weather. Even then, Giannis provided sunbeds just for us. During the season, the hotel offers a swimming pool and enough entertainment for young and old, including a beach bar. Also regular Greek nights are organised. We had a big enough studio with a view at a small park, which was basic and clean. It had a small kitchen with enough equipment (pots,pans knives, forks, a waterheater, refrigerator and an oven with 2 pits). It had a well-sized bathroom and a good size terras. The double bed had a good matrass. After a few days, it became colder, but we were pleasantly surprised we could turn the airconditioner to also heat up the room! This was really an added value. Nothing was too much to ask. We arrived at 3'o clock in the night and Giannis was still waiting for us to give us the key and showed us the way! (Just one hint if you rent a car and use the GPS. The hotel is in the middle of 2 streets, but the main entrance is not at the beach side, but at the upper street). Although we were the only guests present, Giannis prepared each day a great breakfast for us and he had the time to sit down with us. He provided a lot of information what to do and what to visit. He even showed us enough information to do a 3 day tour around Halkidiki and each day he listened proudly what we did the previous day. (You could hear that he was very proud of his home region). Since the hotel was located in the middle of Psakoudia, you have a big choice of restaurants, but again, due to the time of the season, only 2 were open (which we could find). There were no shops open, but you could find 2 supermarkets in the neighborhood. In short, we had a great time at the Melissa Gold coast hotel, also thanks to Giannis and we will definitively come back. We also liked Halkidiki. It was our first visit to the mainland and although the weather was not very coöperative (which was to be expected that late in the season), we enjoyed visiting the peninsula.
