The inn was located in a complex building, and was a combination of a spa and a manga cafe.
Because it's near the station, there are many restaurants nearby, and the building I'm in has a food court and fast food restaurants on the first floor, so it was convenient.
The inside of the building was new and kept clean. The common space is large and there is plenty of work space, you can read manga, and you can also take a bath in the hot springs and sauna. The sliding door of the cabin-type room did not have a lock, but a sensor key on a wristband was required to enter the living area, and the desk in the room also had a dial locker to store valuables. It was attached. Also, it seemed like you could use the large locker if you got the key from the front desk.
Inside the hotel, you can only use the spa (no overnight stay), and it seemed like young locals were also using it, but I didn't feel it was noisy in the common spaces, and the living spaces were quiet.
What I would like to see improved is the staff's response and guidance at check-in.
At check-in, I was told my room number and that I needed a key to enter and exit the living area, but there was no map of the building at the front desk, and I was told that there was a guide to the building in the back and a detailed guide to my room, so please take a look. ”, and the front staff immediately started chatting with each other.
For first-time users, even if you are told that there is a guide to the inside of the building ”in the back”, there is no way to point out or guide you as to where that ”back” actually is, so you have to look for the information board in your room. It took a while to find it. I think it would be good to have the facility usage guide read in a file in the room, but at least the front desk could use a map of the facility to show you where the front desk is, where the room is, and how to get to the room. I think it's better. I think there is a lot of room for improvement in the front desk's job of neglecting customer service and increasing the time for chatting between staff members.
Although there was some inconvenience with the reception at check-in, the reception at the front desk at check-out and the cleaning staff at the time of using the hotel were very polite and pleasant.

I loved this place - directly across the street from May One, Entetsu, Act City, and the station, the location was great, and the service and facilities were impeccable for the price. Breakfast was simple but filling and healthy, they have an on-site public bath (small, but nice), and nice lounges to hang out in, I just very much enjoyed my 2-night stay. I will stay here again. I met some local friends and told them that they should recommend it to friends/family who might visit.

It's an old hotel, so there are inevitable signs of age... but it seems like they're maintaining it in their own way. It was nice that there was a separate smoking area so I didn't have to go far to smoke.

It was quiet and comfortable. I came by car, but it was a little far from the station and had good access.
As expected, it was December 29th, the end of the year, so all the restaurants were fully booked.
Next time I'll come when it's less crowded.

Older hotels, basic facilities and toiletries are available, makeup remover skin care yen can be taken at the front desk, quite convenient, breakfast is also rich, staple food and fruit are available.
The air conditioner is more general, the temperature cannot be selected, there are several stalls, choose to turn off a bit hot, choose a weak mode a bit cold.
The toilet is old-fashioned, so it's okay to use it.
There is no laundry room, which is a bit inconvenient.

Hamamatsu is very small, and the water torii is worth watching the sunset. It is very close to Hamamatsu Station, and there are many places to eat nearby, including many eel rice dishes and Hamamatsu dumplings. The bed is quite comfortable, but you can hear the sound of trains in the middle of the night because it is close to the station. There is 24-hour coffee and tea at the front desk

Close to the train station, although it has a bit of history. But the room is large, comfortable and hygienic. It is well-equipped, and the most outstanding thing is the large window in the room. The scenery is comparable to the sightseeing bay in a big city. You can see the entire Hamamatsu City in the distance. From sunrise to sunset, it is very gorgeous.

This hotel is conveniently located near Hamamatsu Station and a rental car shop. It is a short walk to the downtown area and the area around the hotel is quiet. Very good.
Set on the shores of Lake Hamana, Grand Mercure Lake Hamana Resort & Spa is a peaceful retreat from the city. Stay at our premium hotel in Lake Hamana, and you can enjoy lakeside walks, boat trips, and even fishing, with eels being one of the top delicacies of the area. There's plenty to do for all ages, making us a popular hotel for families in Lake Hamana. Enjoy indoor and outdoor onsen baths, a lake view pool, and easy access to many attractions next to the lake.

I went out with my friends. It was my first time staying in this area. It is suitable for staying when stopping between Tokyo and Osaka. You can enjoy hot springs and delicious food.
There are not many restaurants around the hotel. It is recommended to have a buffet dinner at the hotel. The variety is quite rich. I saw many local Japanese people staying there. The room has a bed, so you don’t have to worry about not being able to sleep on tatami. There are indoor and outdoor hot springs, free to soak, very comfortable. Except for the location being a little off, everything else is good. I also saw the fireworks🎆

AAnonymous UserThe south exit of Hamamatsu Station is very convenient. There are various restaurants and supermarkets in the station. The hotel reception restaurant is very welcoming. Although the breakfast place is not big, the variety is quite rich. All menus are in Chinese. The hotel also has coin-operated washing machines
LLincoln WoodRented bicycles for 24hpurs for only 1000 each. Worked perfectly well. Took advantage of the lounge which had a lovely atmosphere. Bedroom was bigger than many other places I've stayed at. Staff at reception were smiley. Cleaners too were jolly.
Only down side was the bathroom toilet. There was nowhere to put a change of clothes towel etc. so I managed to soak them.
GGuest UserIt takes about 50 minutes to get there by bus No. 30 from Hamamatsu Station, which is a bit far. But the hotel service is very good. The old lady was a little embarrassed to carry the luggage. The dinner and breakfast are both good, and there are several different hot spring pools. I booked a Japanese-Western style room with a lake view. It felt large and peaceful.
GGuest UserClose to the lake, the location is good, but the traffic outside at night on the side of the road is very loud, and I don’t understand why someone runs in the corridor for a long time, making a lot of noise, which is very troublesome.
GGuest UserThere's a convenience store right in front of the hotel, and it's not a long walk from the station. Although breakfast is free, it is quickly replenished.
It's clean, the bread is delicious, and the grilled mackerel has no bones and is fatty, making it easy to eat.
The room was old, and the air conditioning wasn't working well, so I was concerned about the smell in the room, but it was nice to be able to open the window and ventilate the room.
GGuest UserThe room facilities are complete, the sanitary conditions are very good, the hotel environment is elegant and chic, it is worthy of the Japanese emperor staying at the hotel, the lobby service is meticulous and polite
GGargoyleumEverything was actually really good, but this hotel was so old it couldn’t feel comfortable or clean despite best efforts.
Location was great - 2 min walk from Hamamatsu Station. Staff was kind and let us check in just slightly before 3pm.
Amenities were super for what you pay. Free evening curry, 1 draft beer and decent breakfast spread.
Big letdown was the room - peeling wallpaper, stained carpets, no aircon (only heater), mold in bathroom crevices of vent. I think housekeeping is probably good and the room is fundamentally well-cleaned, but the old infrastructure just makes everything feel dingy.
I feel bad as I feel the hotel is trying its best, but despite the amenities mentioned, I will never stay at this hotel again.
GGuest UserThe hotel itself was good. The included breakfast was surprisingly awesome! we loved it. The only thing I would say is that the water in the shower is WAAAY too hot... I mean it's dangerously hot to the point you can actually burn yourself. I recommend starting with cold and then warming it up slowly to avoid injury, or hopefully the hotel can set a limit for the temperature that is more reasonable.
Aallister237Facility is old but clean
The problem is that the refrigerator in the room is noisy, but I am satisfied with the large communal bath.
The breakfast was delicious and I ate too much.
Limited quantity service only on Tuesdays Curry rice was disappointing even if I tried my best.
Some of the stacks were very nice and some were cool.
I would like to use it again because it is cheap.
GGuest UserVery close to Hamamatsu Station, the traffic is very convenient, more than 100 meters away. The room is relatively small, the price is slightly higher than the room type in the early 500s, and the service is good.
