This place is magic ! Me and my partner are here on our honey moon for a few weeks and decided to high roll a little for the last week - we expected good service and a touch of class but what we got was far beyond our expectations! The staff alone made the experience so much better. Everyone was genuinely happy and engaging, remembered our names and went out of the way to help make our stay comfortable and memorable! Thisari was an absolute treat, she is the loveliest person in the world and personally made everything perfect and added soo many extras to our stay that we couldn’t have thought of! The pace is amazing as you’d expect but it was all the little things everyday that kept surprising us ! The food, the pool and secluded beach were all class too ! Special and memorable holiday. We stayed at Anantara for eight nights and what a delightful and a very memorable experience! The resort is nestled in beautiful and luscious well kept grounds, quite rare to see wildlife living in harmony with guests and the resort team alike, certainly a peace haven. Our stay was made special by the dedicated team who looked after all our needs, accompanied always with a smile. Special mention goes to the team at the restaurant Journeys including Suresh, Ignesh, Maluk, Krishnan and Udara who are extremely courteous and friendly. Chef Jayantha Silva & Chef Dilan always ensured that our vegetarian needs were catered for and a very special thank you to Chef Gulwant Singh who really went the extra mile to make delicious and customised vegetarian dishes, much appreciated, felt like coming to another home. We were always warmly welcomed by Sean Paul, nothing was any trouble and we enjoyed many chats in turn learning about the culture and people. Thank you for the Koto, a delicious local dish. Greshan at the pool bar always attended to our needs, in fact the entire team is a credit to the hotel including the poolside, grounds and reception team. Finally thank you so much to Anthony, our room host who made us feel very welcomed and organised our itinerary. Ayubowan and wishing you all continued success always.
