Because there are no twin rooms on Ctrip, I can only book a double bed room. After arriving at the hotel, I communicated with the front desk staff and they changed it to a twin room. The room is not big, but there are two beds about one meter tall, so I can put two beds there. I didn't feel nervous even if I had a suitcase. The room was relatively clean. There was breakfast on the 15th floor. There were staff who could speak Chinese. The hotel staff's service was also good. The environment for walking around the West Lake is very comfortable, and overall I am quite satisfied.

bathrooms good size except shower had Mould, rooms ok size, a short walk along the narrow crowded street, with plenty of market shops, to the lake breakfast on top floor was ok, a bit crowded and food was right at the lift door so sometimes hard to exit the lift.

High point was the breakfasts-fantastic buffet of western and Vietnamese foods. Very surprised that they even had fried spring rolls which are labor intensive and need constant replenishment. Rooms a little depressing since lighting poor and beds firm. Rooms large and ours even had a balcony and we were there with a tour group so no upgrade. Did not like the location as it is definitely not walking distance from the old quarter where all the good shopping/restaurants are but an inexpensive Grab ride away and easy to get. Just next door is a Korean fast food restaurant and nearby is a good mid-level pretty Vietnamese restaurant. Walking difficult as the sidewalks very uneven/blocked by motorbikes so you have to walk in the street.

Stayed here as part of a tour booking with hotel selected by tour company. First the positives, the location is good, just a short walk to main tourist attractions. The entrance lobby is inviting and looks modern, staff are courteous and helpful. The rooms are large with ensuite facilities, however the decor and furnishings are old and worn and not at all inviting. The bed was large and comfortable and as we spent so little time on the room it was tolerable.

This hotel is well located near the Old Quarter of Hanoi. Staff are courteous, friendly and nice. Rooms are very comfortable and clean and the breakfast is nice. Cereals, bread, croissant, bacon, sausage etc eggs cooked as you like then including omelettes and local and oriental dishes such as rice noodles, soups and fried rice. The Old Quarter is a short walk away and the beautiful Hoan Kiem Lake a 15 minute walk away.

The stink of damp/musty/mould of my second floor room permeated everywhere! Could not sleep with smell plus paper thin walls, heard every flush and argument in nearby rooms and corridor. Plastic shower hose sprayed water everywhere, expensive under stocked bar...not great after a 13+ hour international flight

Decent tourist hotel. A little bit dated and needs uplifting of some facilities but overall it's nice and located close to the old quarter with many bars and cafes close by. I stayed 3 different nights in-between various trips - one of the nights in a refurbished room which was much nicer than the old rooms
