Hotels in Dong Da District-Temple of Literature, Hanoi

I was on a work trip and stayed here for a week. It was a good location close enough to the center but also at a good distance if you prefer non-touristy travelling like me. The person at the receptionist guided me to some good local restaurants nearby. The guard and housekeeping person were also very supportive to me with laundry. The balcony is noisy since its the main road which is normal. I enjoyed early mornings and late night at the balcony watching people go about their day. The balcony door blocks out the noise when you're in the room. I wish there was a small fan provided, in case you want to turn off the AC sometimes. Overall, I had a very comfortable stay. I had a nice conversation with the guard while waiting for my cab via Google translate. I'm glad I chose this apartment for my trip. I will come stay again if I have the chance to. Here are some things you could try at walking distance from this apartment - Long Waits Jazz Club, Èp Station coffee (opp the apt), Lermalemer Cafe (if you want a quaint reading/work time or even a nap), Bun Cha Sin Tu (for bun cha), Van Mieu (Temple of Literature).

The hotel facilities are new and spotlessly clean. The service was excellent, and breakfast was delicious too. Overall, a fantastic experience. I'll definitely stay here again on my next trip to Hanoi.

A wonderful place! The room is spacious and bright, with a dining table and a separate workspace. I got a room with a beautiful view. The air conditioner is conveniently located. There is a kitchen, but I would like to see a microwave and cutlery 🙏🏻 The staff is polite and friendly, and there are washing machines on the first floor. The area is colorful, with dense buildings and narrow streets. There is a street market, coffee shops, barbershops, and chain stores nearby. I recommend visiting 👍 I couldn't extend my reservation, it's in high demand among guests.

Providing services but the location is inconvenient, after 11pm, when I came back from eating, the gate downstairs was locked, I had to call the owner and then the security guard to get in 👩🦯👩🦯👩🦯 The toilet is also quite old The alley is small so I can't take a taxi in.

The hotel's location is truly unbeatable, right in the prime downtown area. It's incredibly convenient for shopping and dining. The breakfast, in particular, stood out with its wide variety and delicious options. The freshly made omelets and waffles were especially impressive, definitely setting you up for a fantastic day. However, we've also taken note of two minor issues you pointed out: Firstly, some of the facilities are indeed showing their age, such as the noticeable wear on the lobby sofas. Secondly, the lack of complimentary bottled water in the room was a bit inconvenient. We've already forwarded your suggestions to the hotel management. We understand they are planning renovations and upgrades, and complimentary water options will be available soon! In fact, the hotel recently upgraded all mattresses to incredibly comfortable ones, and many guests have reported a noticeable improvement in sleep quality. If you visit again, we highly recommend trying their Executive Floor, which was just renovated last year and features a 24-hour complimentary beverage bar! Thank you for your thoughtful feedback. The store is located in the alley, not very easy to find. The driver helped call the hotel to pick them up at the entrance of the alley. There were staff who could speak English. Check-in was smooth. I lived on the second floor. The room was a bit surprising. It was quite large and clean. There was beef noodle soup 100 meters away. There were many locals. I ordered two bowls and it was delicious! It is also very close to the scenic spot. After dinner, we walked around and found a super delicious drink shop. The clerk recommended two drinks. I liked them very much! There is also a delicious chicken noodle shop nearby. It is also very close to the Hoan Kiem Lake. It is not a big attraction. There are delicious spring rolls nearby. I will choose this shop next time.

The room is fantastic! Super comfy bed, nice shower, warm room and a lot of products! Room super clean, staff kind and friendly. They rent motorbikes at good price and exchange money also good rate. The breakfast has a lot of options for Vietnamese food only.

Сама по себе квартира хорошая и аккуратная, есть все необходимое для проживания (нет живности, что являлось ключевым при выборе жилья). Однако, квартира хоть и находится в центре города, недалеко от старого города, квартира находится в «местном гетто» (рынок для своих, где между торговыми лавками с едой валяется мусорк и всех все устраивает), (экскурсоводы когда узнавали где живем улыбались с сожалением)))) где в 200 метрах готовят поросей, где стоит аромат отходов, которые вывозятся дай бог раз в сутки, нет рядом магазин и где можно перекусить , самое близкое - в минутах 15-20 - это уже в самом старом городе. Возможно это не так существенно, но, если бы я знала, что каждый день по пути в старый город буду затыкать нос от вони по дороге (на протяжении 3-5 минут), то жилье бы в данном месте не сняла бы. Проживали неделю, за это время уборки не было ни разу, обещали дважды в неделю. Было предоставлено 2 пары полотенец (для тела и лица) и одно для ног, которое сразу лежало на полу и было грязным. Для стирки предоставили гель для стирки, но сразу предупредили, что это все, дальше нужен покупать (хватило на две стирки). Но отдельно хотелось бы отметить ночного администратора, он был добр и радушен, разрешил постиранное белье высушить в стиральной машинке (которая не находится в общем пользовании), так как в номере ничего для этого не было предусмотрено. Вид из окна на задний двор, фото прилагается, тоже сюрприз. В целом остались очень неоднозначные впечатления. На пару дней окей, на большее я не рекомендую.
