Find 3-Star Hotels in Heidelberg

Kitchen area is a little cramped to cook. however bedroom is spacious. It would be nice if separate shampoo and conditioner can be provided with bath gel instead of 3-1. The shower floor trap drains slowly so flooding may occur during long showers

Pros: good location, right next to the train station, relatively clean, good breakfast Cons: expensive, no bottled water, had to run out to buy water in the middle of the night

Der Check-in-Prozess war sehr interessant, da man seine eigene Schlüsselkarte selbst registrieren muss. Das Hotel war insgesamt sehr sauber, und der Rezeptionist war freundlich und hilfsbereit. Der Aufenthalt hat mir wirklich gut gefallen. Das Zimmer war modern und gut ausgestattet, und auch das Bad hat einen tollen Eindruck gemacht. Insgesamt ein sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt – ich würde jederzeit wiederkommen!

Luggage storage before check-in worked great and very courteous gentleman at the reception area. Telephone availability previously generated band, very ugly. Check-in itself was unfortunately rather sobering due to the change in staff. Also, immediately after check-in, a pushy bartender who wanted to mix cocktails for me. Unfortunately, that didn't go away when I went out to smoke and had to go through the ”lobby”. Hotel room unfortunately the stockiest of all, despite the most expensive costs on my trip. Huge TV, nice bed, great duvet, air conditioning, design equipment... but unfortunately completely impractical, so that there was not only space to unpack my suitcase and cosmetics in the bathroom. No, unfortunately the desk was so close to the bed that there were bruises when walking around. Big plus seen too late though. Kettle with instant coffee, milk and sugar/tea was available in the room.

All in all, not a terrible stay. When we first got there to check in the front desk was closed even though it was 5pm and check in was until 10, and the automatic check in machine was broken with a note on it to pick up our room keys at the hotel across the street. We went there and they had no idea what we were talking about so we had to carry our luggage back across the street after contacting trip.com who replied IMMEDIATELY (thank you guys so much your customer service is incredible!) we got the number to call the hotel after hours and it turns out they forgot to leave our keys so they sent someone back over to let us into our room. We got into our room and it wasn’t the room we booked, it was a room in the attic that on one side I couldn’t even stand up without hitting my head (I’m 5”3) but it had AC and it was a place to rest our heads so it could wait until morning. The next day when we came down we mentioned the room error and the look the first guy gave me was full of contempt, so his customer service was awful. I know I don’t look like a conventional woman with my hair and tattoos and I understand different cultures can collide but that’s fine, though when the manager came to talk to my fiancé his attitude perked up a bit and he found a smile. They got us in the correct room and this room was a normal size but the ac unit for that room is a portable roll about one that the hose wasn’t sticking out the window with the netting correctly and they tried to come fix it (duct tape) but then the hose broke but my fiancé found a way to shove it out the window and it took awhile to get the room cooled down but then it was great. After that the rest of the trip went well, the woman with the copper/red hair was super nice and overall we really enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was a really good breakfast and the hotel is in a great location with secure parking. Check out Lino’s around the corner for fantastic drinks and the döner place downstairs is killer. It’s most important that most Germans don’t approve of AC so keep that in mind if that’s important to you that you double verify where you book. All the trouble aside we would definitely stay here again, just don’t count on the blow dryer in the room or the AC to work and room service may need to be requested multiple times.

Not bad, the room is big enough

The location of this hotel is very good for tourists. It is in the attraction. You can see the old bridge on the right and the church on the left. The street at the door is full of food and souvenirs. It is usually bustling and crowded. This is a bit inconvenient for driving. Usually the car can't get in, so you have to put your luggage at the intersection and move in. If you leave early, you can drive the car over and park your luggage at the door. The car is parked in an acceptable parking lot a little farther away. Because this hotel itself is also a restaurant, it is a restaurant and accommodation, so there is no lobby on the first floor, all dining tables, the hotel reception counter is very small, usually not always there, it seems that the hotel room is only a dozen, the window of the room is facing the bustling street, but fortunately, It's not noisy, although earplugs are seen on the bedside table, which is obviously used for the guests to block the ears and prevent noise. The room is quite warm, there are two windows, an old city taste, the bed is very comfortable, in short, the experience is very good, I feel that I have not lived enough.

The room is very chic, the suites inside and outside are all 1.2 meters single beds, and the inner room is two single beds together. Pure self-check in is still the first time. It's a bit noisy by the aisle. Luggage can be stored, but it is the second floor of the elevator. The first time I saw the elevator door, I needed to manually open it. Exquisite small hotel. It is a minute's walk from Heidelberg City, and it is recommended to go to the castle to Uber6-7 knife.

The location of this hotel is great, and the front desk people were nice too. But the facility was way below either the industry standard or our expectation - the knob of the shower was falling down, the curtain was also falling down and could not close; the reading light switch had no handle; and the shower drainage was blocked (see the photos) ---- shockingly this is in Germany!! Very, Very disappointed.
