Room rate was cheap but our Japanese style room was very basic. Reception staff were not very friendly. Bathroom was small (even for japanese standards) and the ventilation fan was extremely noisy. Yet, the room was stuffy and hot and we went during winter. Ok if you just need a place to sleep as the room and hotel itself is still clean and has basic amenities but dont have much expectations.

　Our accommodation in Sasebo was in front of Sasebo station in Toyoko Inn. There were school travelers and it was noisy, so when I asked them to change the room, they responded. The people at the front desk are generally unfriendly. There were nice people on the night shift. The sound outside can be shut out by the window, but the sound next door and the voice in the corridor can be heard quite well. The morning was a daily alternate plate between Japanese and Western, partly due to the corona. It's beautiful and chic to see, but the amount is small and I went to eat the morning buffet at another hotel and the morning set at a coffee shop. Because it is like this, it feels expensive as a business hotel, but this time there was a national trip discount and Nagasaki's own coupon, and it was good because it was able to stay at less than half the price.
