Hotels in District 1 - Pham Ngu Lao Street, Ho Chi Minh City

It was located in the alley but easy to find (in front of Ailen Hotel, it also near the McD & Saigon bus station, the room suitable for the solo traveller & also provide the private bathroom, the bed's like a folding style so will give you a space too for packing or walking, elevator also available, so for me it's recommended.

Super convenient hotel, the hotel front desk is very small and not very conspicuous, so we didn't even notice it when we were standing at the door, haha, a few steps downstairs is the Fanwu Lao Street Archway, it is really bustling at night, and it will be very quiet at night

I really do like this hotel because of generally high standard of their services but this time, suffered from noise at around 4:00 which seemed to come from the room located just above my room. Although I asked hotel staff but they didn't show me any solution idea, which disappointed me for the first time.

Staff are friendly always greet us with smile. Checkin and checkout is fast. Clean room and beds are comfy. Furniture is old but ok. Breakfast is ok, bacon need to change it’s not crispy. The noise from outside corridor can be heard inside the room and it can be noisy in the morning. Overall stay is above average will come back again

Not bad room, its good,prime location and next to TAJ MAHAL INDIAN FOOD and TATTO lover as well oppsite police station and main walking steet staff so good helpful room ok clean as per price is good

Was a well situated hotel.. very accessible to many popular vists and nearby eateries.. the hotel sadly lacks some good amenities such as gym, spa or even a swimming pool… the breakfast spread is the same throughout our 6 days stay there.. with only one live station being rotated for difference.. but no complains about the quality of the food as its nice..

Clean, new hotel, friendly staff. You have to walk through a narrow alley to reach the hotel from main road but not far. Generally it was quiet at night and you can sleep well. Only sometimes I heard the neighbors singing on home karaoke but usually stops before mid night. The lady manager is very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended hotel. Small but cute, clean hotel. Surely I will stay again in the future.

The hotel room was spacious and very clean. I felt comfortable during my stay, and everything was well-maintained. The breakfast was okay, but there weren’t many options.

I recently stayed at the Saigonciti Hotel, and overall, it was a mixed experience. First off, the room was a bit disappointing as it didn't quite match the pictures advertised online. The photos made the room look more modern and spacious than it actually was. However, the location of the hotel is quite convenient. It's close to many attractions, dining options, and shopping areas, making it easy to explore the city. One thing to consider: if you're traveling with elders or babies, this might not be the best option. The hotel lacks certain amenities that cater to these groups, which could be a bit challenging. Pricewise, it was reasonable and aligned with what you would expect for a mid-range hotel in this area.

a thumb up for Mr Toby at the reception, he never fail to help whenever we approach him, beside he speak good English and make communication easy. Thumb down for housekeep, shower amenities was never refilled. Stay there for 4 night, every night we need to ask from reception for shampoo and bath gel. Location are good, walking distance to Ben Thanh market and other place or interest. Overall not so bad.
