Hop inn On Nathan Road

First of all it was difficult to find the reception of the hotel which is located on the 13th floor of a residential building. There are no signs and the name of the hostel is nowhere to be seen. This obviously has to do with the fact that this place can be booked under various names and that it is using the name of a nearby very beautiful hostel to attract their customers. After checking in in the 13th floor I was sent to the 5th floor where my room was located. The elevators looked very old and the entire building did not appear safe in terms of fire escape provisions. The room was a shoebox and there was dirt in the corners, half of the lights did not work and the bathroom was a shower/toilet/sink combo in which everything got wet when showering. Noise coming from neighbouring rooms and the corridor was audible throughout the night. I felt that the other guests were partly *********** and other not very respectable people.  I had a window towards Nathan road which was the only bonus. After having travelled 126 countries so far this was one of the worst hostels I ever stayed at.

Walking distance to east tsim tsa shui train station, around 5mins. Its also very near avenue of the stars you can drop by anytime of the day.

We arrived late night, almost beating the 11PM check in time; but we were assisted promptly. The building is old and not so clean; but the room itself is clean(no roaches, white clean and good-smelling linens and towels, with cold AC, working hot water system, and a good view of K11 Art Mall. Overall stay was pleasant. Location is very very good, accessible to everything.

After check in, I don't like the smell inside the room and also the room is too small. But reception people are friendly. I just don't like the environment

I love the location near shopping malls. But the cleanliness of the room is poor but tolerable. The first room they gave us is the worst they gave us a room with just a shower curtain as a door to the restroom. I cant afford sleeping while someone is pooping it smells the whole room. And You cant open your luggage without putting it on top of the bed. After 1 night i ask to be transferred to a different room since the first time we requested they told us they are fully booked and told us to transfer the next day but we need to pay 100 hkd for cleaning fee. If you have a budget for a hotel booking this hotel is not an option. Attached pic is the first room they booked for us. The same room was given but with a door for the restroom.
