We were very disappointed with our stay at the Empire Hotel Kowloon. The room was extremely small and poorly laid out, especially the bathroom, which was very cramped and impractical. The window was tiny, letting in barely any natural light, which made the room feel even more claustrophobic.
The furniture and building overall felt old and worn down, clearly in need of renovation. One of the main reasons we chose this hotel was the indoor pool — but to our surprise, it was closed for renovation during the peak summer season. This was not communicated clearly in advance, which felt misleading.
To make matters worse, the cleanliness in the bathroom was far from acceptable. Overall, this hotel does not live up to its price or rating. We would not stay here again.

It was a pleasant stay. Good location, easy access to transportation. Close to water front so we can enjoy morning walk and enjoy the view.
Room was nice, good for value for room size. Service was pleasant, room service frequently provided what we needed without being asked repeatedly.
Hopefully next stay we can get room with view to the sea.

The room is big and the bathroom is ok. The view was unmatched! I asked for a room away from the elevator and luckily could see the marina. Breakfast is good and varied, location is great. Nothing stood out in particular but i would recommend it.
We stayed during a typhoon T10 and would’ve liked the hotel to make more recommendations to the guests, who are probably not used to experiencing this type of weather. I would’ve felt safer if some instructions on safety precautions or evacuation were left in the rooms.

This hotel is perfectly situated in a prime location near to railway lines, making it easy to explore all the best attractions. From the moment I arrived, the staff were welcoming and helpful. The rooms were well-maintained and clean, and the staff Leo was extremely helpful to arrange early check-in even though it was a busy time. Would recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a great stay in the heart of the city.”

Location is top notch. Easy going around the city since it has direct link to MRT. There is also bus stop in front of the hotel. So it is very convenient to take a bus from the airport. Hotel room is very spacious. I also appreciate the free sodas and juices on the first day. The room is very clean. But there are days that the wifi got really slow. Staffs are friendly and helpful. We will surely book this hotel next time we visit Hong Kong

Good price for a very ideal location, right next to the mtr and with plenty of shopping and dining options. We are 2 adults and 2 kids, so the 2 double beds were great. Just felt the room was somewhat musky and not very clean as I developed rashes during my stay.

Great hotel with affordable price.
I travel 2 people and the hotel provide me the twin room haha. Its no problem because we are old couple haha.
Its just a mirror remind to young couple lol.
The room was extremely clean. But there is no amenities at all. You have to self-supply even water (similar to some of taiwan hotel).
In general, its great at that price.
I have my own running around Victoria harbour every morning, thats great!!!!
Highly rcm to newly tourisers

The hotel is located near Olympics Station (about 10mins walk from the nearest exit) which was a great place for us when we arrived late at night on our day of check in as it is located on the Tung Chung line. There are many stores just across the streets like eateries, bakeries, supermarket, convenient stores and even a macdonalds.
The most convenient way to central mongkok is via their mini green buses. There's also a direct bus that goes to the mongkok east station. Great for travelling to Shenzhen for a day trip.
The room is not very spacious but comfortable for 2. We're able to open 2 luggages on the floor at the same time. Shower pressure was great. They've also provided an empty glass bottle for us to collect drinking water from the dispenser located on certain floors so we don't have to buy water at all. The only downside is that they do not provide toothbrush/toothpastes but you're able to purchase them in the vending machine at the lobby for 1HKD.
Overall we had a pleasant stay and will stay again for its strategic location near Mongkok area.

We enjoyed Eaton. Conveniently located from a 5-7mins walk to Jordan mtr station. There are a lot of yummy food areas around hotel and within walking distance. Hotel has been refurbished over time and is comfortable for our family!
And the best part. Trip.com gave me a hotel credit with the booking which we could use at the food court within the hotel. Haha got ourselves some refreshing drinks in the hot weather. We will be back!

AAnonymous UserLove this hotel so much, near to metro station (MTR) Jordan station. Lobby has Starbucks as well and convenient stores. Walking to some local coffee shop within 8 minutes.
Overall the hotel employees are very nice, especially the bell men and the housekeeper who is very helpful. Will back to this hotel if travel to Hong Kong.
CCarnie WaiWell situated area in Mong Kok, 7-10 minutes walk from Ladies Market. Walking distance to 3 different MRT Stations and great options of convenient stores nearby. Only thing is they don’t tell you until you arrive that a deposit will be required during the stay to cover any damages etc. but overall a good stay.

PPatlsmThe hotel staff are very friendly and helpful.
Despite the busy flow of hotel guests, the lifts are sufficient and very efficient. I have stayed in hotels where lifts are always crowded and needed to wait; Gateway hotel does not have this issue at all.
The location is also excellent: Habour City, K11 Art Mall, K11 Musea and TST MTR station. Eateries are abundant in the hotel area too.

AAnonymous UserThe room is extremely small, hardly be able to move around the beds. No hand towels, only big bath towels. No hand soap. Not sure if the water pressure is too low, the hot water in the shower is so small that it is dripping, impossible to shower. Toilet automatically flush with very little water that it couldn't flush clean. I have never seen such hotel listed as 4 star hotel.

BBobby31I’m not one to write a review in general but I loved my 4 day stay at The Perkins Hotel! It’s just a nice convenient place to stay. It’s great to find a place that’s clean, decent sized, great location and well priced. Definitely would stay here again!!

AAnonymous UserThe location of the hotel isn't great, surrounded by old hardware shops and the only 7-11 is about 15 mins away. It isn't child friendly, I can't get a small stool for my toddler to brush teeth. The room size is quite decent and the bed is fine. Not planning to stay there for future trips to Hong Kong. Another issues we notice the swimming pool Isn't available, I'm not sure is it due to December month too cold for swim or the pool isn't working, but a four star hotel they should maintain it.
YYuiyaStayed many times with friends cooking celebration, this time security service is particularly bad, first friends first to the door, intending to wait for people and then enter or up, security like a thief so open question my friend at the door what to do, I was not there, used to be a group of people in the basement lobby and then check in in upstairs, and then when I went downstairs to pick up, he specifically blocked the lift to the lobby to string my friend, to a friend to pick up to be in the lobby, when I was stunned to hear from the side, you specifically asked the customer to get downstairs and curse. My friends and I often book the hotel through different sites for celebration purposes, first time having this experience, bad review
Because the service has been good, this turn...
Because that time, my friends and I would not book the hotel for any celebrations
If you do not intend to book short-term customers, it is better not to open an order, the security tone is catching thieves feel, seriously check in the colleague did not say anything, he said so what is wrong, before and after not more than 1 hour, I and my friends will not because of this incident

RRobinsonThe location is perfect, very close to the train stations. The room was nice, although unfortunately, I was assigned one of the darker rooms, mainly due to the interior decoration rather than the view.
I would suggest a bit more friendliness and a warmer welcome from the staff. I understand that cultural differences may influence warmth and hospitality, but in this industry, making guests feel truly welcome is essential.
Other than that, we enjoyed our stay and appreciated the overall experience.
