Friendly staff. cleanliness and convenient location but I think it would be much better if they provide sleepers for the guests, We would stay here again on our next vacation,

This was my second time staying at the Ilima Hotel, following last year. It was comfortable last year, too, and with prices constantly rising in Hawaii, this room with a large refrigerator was extremely convenient. My husband has leg and back problems, so we needed a room that was not too far from the city center and easily accessible. So, I'm glad we chose the Ilima Hotel. Perhaps because we downgraded the grade from last year, 1) it felt cramped, even though it was advertised as the same size. 2) During our five-night stay, the hot water seemed to run out while my husband was taking a bath, both in the middle of the night and around 10:30 PM. 3) The water pressure was weak, and the shower water flow was extremely weak, completely different from the faucet, but the temperature was still quite hot. 4) The toilet doorknob was a little wobbly. 5) The room entrance door was unusually heavy. 6) The ceiling fan moved in the opposite direction to the switch; turning it down made it stronger, and turning it up made it weaker. 7) I forgot to ask about Wi-Fi. Was it available? Although we couldn't see the ocean, we were on the canal side and could see the Ko'olau, whose appearance changes depending on the weather, and I really love the view from here. While it doesn't feel new, I like the atmosphere of this hotel, which is calm and quiet, and the rooms are spacious. I would recommend this hotel to those visiting Hawaii for the second or third time rather than first-timers. The hotel has a classic Hawaiian atmosphere, and my favorite Hawaiian music plays in the background all the time. If I go to Hawaii again next year, I will probably book here again. Free parking, spacious floor space, great value. I highly recommend.

Good points: Kitchen and tableware provided. Convenient location right next to the International Market. A bit old, but spacious and clean room. Everyone at the front desk is friendly. Free activities like lei making. Beach towels available for rent. Free parking. Pool included. Bad points: There was a homeless person sleeping next to the hotel, and someone talking loudly by themselves, which was scary. You could hear music from a store outside until late at night, which was noisy. The water pressure in the shower was weak, and the shower head was on top, making it difficult to use. Good value for money, and I can see why there are so many repeat customers! I'd like to use it again.

My husband is sensitive to local food, and I think it was a good idea to stay at the Ilima Hotel, which has a spacious room with a kitchen at a local high price. The location is close to the beach and the bus stop, and there is a rental car shop across the street, so we were able to book without any inconvenience. The staff were all friendly, and the facilities were clean and tidy. I saw a review saying that the bathroom smelled, but the room we booked didn't smell at all. I really recommend it for a family trip with children.

Parking is free at this hotel, but it gets full in the evening, so you have to use a nearby paid parking lot. The bedding smells bad and it's noisy. (External noise, exhaust fan noise, refrigerator noise) The kitchen is well-equipped and the staff is friendly.

Parking is free, and although you can't see the ocean, it's just off the street, so it's quiet, well-ventilated, and a relaxing stay.

The service is very warm, the environment is very Hawaiian, the room is large, and the most convenient thing is that it has a kitchen
