I came to the Crown Plaza, Nottingham for a conference early June. The hotel itself was nice, modern and comfortable. My room was not adequately cleaned as there were hairs in my shower upon arrival, unreplenished hygiene products in the bathroom and the toilet uncleaned. The room Itself was small, but fine for sleeping in. My TV did not work, but as it was one night this wasn’t a bother. The breakfast and lunch were great, formal dinner however was awful and poor, not worth paying for. Servers were unversed in allergen training, and the allergen and dietary requirement food options were awfully poor. The manager on duty however, was apologetic and wonderful. The best thing about this hotel was the staff (excusing F&B teams poor allergen training and food options). Particularly Abigail, Malakai and Zak on the bar who were so warm, polite and accommodating. Wonderful service throughout and a credit to the team. Thank you three.

Found this hotel as a stopover from Devon to Northumberland. Welcoming reception and friendly staff in all areas. I had requested a certain area of hotel and request was granted! We had an upgraded (premium) room so can only speak on that! Pleasantly decorated with air con. Comfortable bed and pillows. Clean. A safe in wardrobe and a small fridge with water, coke, crisps and chocolate complimentary to members! A coffee machine and instant coffee and tea. Very nice toiletries in bathroom with a good shower. The only negative is the bathroom is very small especially the toilet area! We had a voucher for a complimentary drink from the bar which we didn’t use but in the morning reception said we could get a takeaway which was such a lovely gesture. There was a good breakfast with pretty much everything on offer including a separate area for gluten free! A very big car park finished this delightful overnighter. We will defo return as do this journey a few times a year. Keep doing what you’re doing….. you’re doing it right! Thank you

The reception staff were very polite, a gentleman who works at night was extremely friendly giving me snacks in the early hours because I was hungry and the kitchen was closed.
Only the cleaning staff made a lot of noise at 7:30am, a very early time to start, which could disturb guests who are still resting.

The best day of our lives! Choosing The Village Nottingham was the best thing we did. We attended a wedding fair there and fell in love with the whole place then! We needed a big space and that’s exactly what we had. The team were lovely and dealt with everything promptly and with no questions. Thank you to Hannah for dealing with any queries we had and for generally being so lovely right up until the day! Also to Kelsey and her team on the day for helping make our day so special. Food was just beautiful, our quests loved the soup! I only wish I could live the day again! Wedding blues are kicking in. X

The hotel location is very convenient, just six or seven minutes away to the centre of Nottingham. There is a big Asian supermarket directly opposite the hotel, and the city rail station is next to it. It can be said that it is very convenient for travel.
