From the time we walked through the front door to when we left two days later all was perfect. The staff very happy and helpful. The room was very nice and well appointed . We chose this hotel because it is connected to-the Rotterdam Cruise Terminal. It is close too many eateries. Ifwe return in the future we will rebook.
This is a five star hotel. Thanks all.
We’re located on the banks of the river Maas, offering sweeping views of the water and skyline. Discover attractions like The Museum Boijmans van Beuningen and Markthal, both less than a kilometer from us. We are next door to the iconic Erasmusbrug, the perfect spot for a Rotterdam sunset. Our hotel has a waterfront terrace and private jetty accessible for water taxi pickups.

Google maps will not take you to the correct location of the hotel! The address states the hotel is in Leuvehaven; however the hotel and entrance are really on Terwenaker 18 (the small peninsula just east of the main road (Schiedsedijk). You can definitely see the hotel on the peninsula as you’re driving north on the main road, but your GPS / offline Google Maps won’t take you there. Just a tip in case you’re driving to the hotel. Other than that, our room was spacious, comfortable, had its own sauna, and a great view of the river. The hotel is about a 15-20 minute walk to the Cube Houses and central market area. Overall, we’d stay there again if in Rotterdam!
Nestled in the very heart of Rotterdam, a bustling city known for its rich history, contemporary architecture, and innovation, the hotel is centrally located and very well connected by public transport, making it the perfect place from which to travel within and outside of the city. The hotel boasts spacious and sophisticated guest rooms, 4 versatile boardrooms, a conference room, flexible meeting spaces, and a team of dedicated professionals. The Rotterdam Marriott Hotel offers stylish rooms with modern facilities, blending form and function to transform a typical stay into a restorative retreat. With spacious bathrooms, flexible seating options, and subtly stylish touches, guests can work and relax the way they want. In the lobby, you will find Pillars Bar & Kitchen, a restaurant where the menu is casual and revolves around quick bites, sharing dishes, and elegant main courses. For those with a passion for culinary excellence, the Michelin-starred restaurant, The Millèn, offers an exciting experience, serving fresh and seasonal dishes with cosmopolitan flavors. The Rotterdam Marriott Hotel has an M Club Lounge for loyal Marriott Bonvoy members, a well-equipped fitness center, an in-house security team, and a dedicated Guest Relations team always prepared to assist you with whatever you may need. Bike rental and car rental are available at this hotel, and the area is popular for biking. Rotterdam’s main shopping area is less than a 5-minute walk away. Both Schiphol and Rotterdam The Hague Airport are easily and quickly accessible by public transport. International trains, such as the Eurostar and Deutsche Bahn, all arrive at Rotterdam Central Station.

My husband and I recently took a bicycle trip to Holland and spent one night at the Marriott in Rotterdam. We only wish that every hotel on our trip was as good as this. The Front Desk staff was incredibly friendly and helpful -- they had a special place to lock-up our bikes, helped us do that, spent time with us reviewing a map of the city to decide what to do and where to go, and emailed us additional information. The hotel is in a great central location, across from train station and in walking distance to a lot of sites. The rooms are good-sized, totally modern (great bathrooms!), very quiet, cool (it was warm and we needed air conditioning) and internet worked perfectly. Breakfast is served in a nice room with a great view of the station/city; friendly staff, hot items are cooked to order and the buffet is full of any item you might want. We're just sorry to we only stayed one night.

We were traveling in Rotterdam for work/vacation and the Usual had rooms for our family of four (2 adults and 2 children). Maybe it is just us, but we have found it sometimes difficult to find quad rooms in our travels and don't like to have to book 2 rooms... So it was fortunate that the Usual had a room for us. I say fortunate because the rooms are quite large (a bed and a pull out sofa bed) that still left enough room for our luggage and moving around. There were 2 sinks, a refrigerator and dishware which really helped us out. Not that cooked in the room, it was just great to have for snacks and light eats. I believe the hotel is new as the furnishing was all modern, in excellent condition and very clean. I personally liked the style and amenities of the rooms and hotel. We were on the 6th floor which gave a small view of the city. The staff are very pleasant and helpful, though I would note that check-in is self-check-in and naturally we couldn't find our QR code that the hotel sent us...but there was someone to help us find our way. We only had drinks at the bar, which were good and reasonably priced. We did not get breakfast largely because of the price and that there are many local bakeries/coffee shops available. The hotel is in an excellent location, easy access to the tram/metro and many sights including the Maritime Museum. We stayed 5 nights and would have liked to stay longer. Highly recommend. Many thanks!

We stayed at The James for 5 nights in the middle of July. It's a nice hotel - centrally located that' s walking distance to the train station, restaurants and attractions. The room we stayed in was a good size and nicely appointed. As part of the package we had use of 2 bikes for a full day. We took the bikes out on July 19 for a ride around Kinderdijk, which was about 20km away by waterbus. One of the bikes felt sluggish from the start but we attributed the problem to underinflated tires. Unfortunately, that wasn't the issue. It was making a loud pinging noise when it was put in reverse as in backing out of a bike rack on the ferry. The pedals were freewheeling as soon as we started riding when we came off the ferry. I emailed the hotel about the issue immediately but didn't hear anything back for over half an hour. A local pointed us to a bike shop 2 km away and off we went. This was the hottest day (39 C) the Netherlands had experienced in over a decade and we had almost 60 km to cover, so we wanted an earlier start. By the time the hotel emailed us back we were already at the bike shop getting it fixed. There's simply no way that we'd wait another hour or 2 for the hotel to send help. The mechanic was so disappointed with the bike's condition that he said the hotel should pay for the repair and that they may call him if they had any questions. The front desk told us their bike supplier would likely pay us back for the repair but 3 weeks later we're still waiting. The point is: I took the bike from the hotel, not their supplier. Any reasonable hotel would compensate their customers and deal with their supplier on their own. I'm not going to get too upset losing 35 euros but this shows how terrible customer service is with this hotel. You may stay there and it should be OK as long as nothing goes wrong.

Great location, easy to get around in Rotterdam. If you are a bit sensitive to noise , better ask for a room far away from the elevator.
Highlight is definitely the breakfast buffet team - thanks a lot for the great service and smiles despite a high stress level in the morning.
NH Atlanta Rotterdam is just across the street from the Rotterdam World Trade Center and an easy walk to De Doelen Conference Center. For the leisure traveler, the famous Boijmans Van Beuningen Museum is only 15-minutes away, while walking a little further will take guests to the Erasmus Bridge from which many river tours depart. For the rest of Rotterdam, hop on the metro at the close-by Beurs station. At night enjoy the bustling Stadhuisplein square with al fresco restaurants and bars. Lijnbaan is steps away for shopping. NH Atlanta Rotterdam is set in an Art-Deco style building right in the heart of the city. Guests can stay in one of the rooms or enjoy tea and coffee facilities and supermarket service at one of the 6 apartments. Some rooms offer a lovely view of Coolsingel Street and all have free Wi-Fi. NH Atlanta Rotterdam serves a fresh breakfast daily with a delicious, varied spread. The on-site Brasserie Atlanta restaurant offers international cuisine in an art-deco style dining room and an extensive selection of wines. Alternatively, enjoy authentic Chinese dishes at the Cantonese style Paramount Restaurant. For meetings and events there are 4 conference rooms and a roof garden.

The location of the hotel is very convenient, very close to the city hall and the transportation hub Buers, and nearby restaurants and supermarkets are also very convenient. It is not far from the central station, and you can get there by taking one or two stops or walking.
This should be a historic building. The room is quite large, but the layout is not very reasonable, but all the facilities are available, including a kettle and a small refrigerator, which is very good.
The front desk service is also very enthusiastic. No matter what you ask, they are very enthusiastic and write down the results in Dutch, which is convenient and considerate. You don’t need to clean the room for consecutive stays, and the hotel also provides drinks as a reward, which is very heartwarming. The hotel also saves precious labor, a win-win situation!

While booking the hotel we certainly came across more fancy sites & locations. Despite the traditional perception transmitted by the website the heart was more impressive than the shell. The dynamic staff and trendy setting did charme us differently. Turns out that surprisingly the hotel is a perfect oasis in a quite noisy city. Once inside no noise no stress just a nice trendy cocoon covering all the aspects to regenerate after a busy day in the city. The rooms are nicely designed with a view. Breakfast is still in the “old” setting, but luckily did receive a inspiring touch. Offering a lot of variance it is a good start of the day. The parking concept on the site was vague, but perfectly expected by the caretaking staff on the phone. Although close to the city centre most of the bar & restaurants are at the other end of the town, but when the weather is fine “who cares !?”.

GGuest UserGreat stay - my first time staying in a hostel and I really enjoyed the experience. Everything is very modern and convenient. The location is great and walking distance from lots of tourist attractions and yummy food spots. The hostel is situated in a very vibrant community area, so it can get quite noisy but once you’re inside your hub you don’t hear anything! The hubs themselves are cute and the bed is super spacious - you get the option of a bottom or top hub, I recommend a top hub if you want to feel slightly more comfortable. The hubs have Bluetooth speakers, an app to control lighting and to speak to the host for any issues. My hub was clean but not as clean as I thought it would be, there were some marks on the side, random hairs and the air-con vent was very very dusty. Apart from that, everything else was perfect. You have a wristband that allows you to charge things to your hub, lock up your belongings and open your hub door which I thought was very handy! I really enjoyed my stay and it was a great first hostel experience, would definitely stay with CityHub again as it was a bargain!
GGuest UserI really like the feeling of this hotel. I like the wallpaper, furniture and furnishings of her home. The bed is very comfortable. The bed is clean and comfortable. The four-person family has a double bed. The twin beds have a water heater and a coffee machine. Room 2 can sit in the beautiful courtyard with a cup of coffee on the first floor. Great experience
PPieterPerfect reception, we were too early but could leave our bag at the reception of the opposite hotel Emma. We received a upgrade, super happy with. The hotel is perfectly central in the city, with all the possible horeca and middle positions at walking distance. The room was perfect, the bed was beautiful, the shower was powerful and the coffee was beautiful. We were also well-served digitally, excellent TV with easy link to your own phone to cast. Also the speakers were easy to operate. In short: super satisfied with this hotel.
