We selected this hotel for its location close to the cruise port ( directly across the street). It’s an older hotel but great location and restaurant was great. Wish they had at least an iron or steamer along with a hair dryer.
Overall we would recommend. Elevator is small and stairs access the floors. A little tricky getting your luggage up the hotel entrance to the lobby. If you travel light it’s ok.
The location was realy good. Near the city center and central station. The hotel was easy to find and the check in process was realy easy and smooth. The only downside was the mattress which was not realy the best or confortable for a longer stay like more than 2 nights.
The location of the hotel is excellent and it is generally clean. But I was quite surprised that they have no towels to provide on the second night. And every towel got hair in it which should not be expected.

From the time we walked through the front door to when we left two days later all was perfect. The staff very happy and helpful. The room was very nice and well appointed . We chose this hotel because it is connected to-the Rotterdam Cruise Terminal. It is close too many eateries. Ifwe return in the future we will rebook.
This is a five star hotel. Thanks all.
Great location, easy to get around in Rotterdam. If you are a bit sensitive to noise , better ask for a room far away from the elevator.
Highlight is definitely the breakfast buffet team - thanks a lot for the great service and smiles despite a high stress level in the morning.
Great to have an apartment experience at lower than hotel prices. It doesn't get cleaned every day, but not a problem if you are used to tidying up after yourself.
Location is in the heart of the city - shopping, conference centre, restos and bars are all within walking distance. I would def choose again.
Great location, great price for single room taking in consideration it was high season, because of the marathon. Not the best smell around the hotel, is very evident is an old one but yet room was fine and cozy.
Morning girl staff, very nice and attentive, the man at night not very friendly.
Overall a great stay, and definitely recommended. I would book it again.
The location is great in the pedestrian zone and only 100 meters from the market hall with its many restaurants and eateries. Centraal and Erasmusbrücke are each a 20-minute walk away. Hotel is still very new, clean and modern. The rooms are rather small but very bright. The breakfast on the upper floor is worth the price. The reception staff is really very friendly, courteous and helpful. Gladly again.
The hotel is a short distance from the subway station. It is suitable for self-driving. It takes 5 minutes by car to the pr parking lot. Take the subway. Parking is free. Don't stay here without a car. Hotel is not bad

Very Good
GGuest UserWe are very enjoy stay your hotel, staff is so kind & helpful. Room is excellent & comfortable. Everything is prefect. We will highly recommend my friend to stay here. Hope will be back soon.
FflorapigThe waiter has a very good attitude and explains in detail the location of hotel facilities, wifi passwords, etc., and the waiter will take the initiative to help you carry your luggage to the room.
The only drawback is that there are many stairs along the way from the hotel lobby to the room, which is inconvenient.
The overall room is tidy and very comfortable👍🏻
SSezD0720I decided to treat myself and my son at the end of our trip and the Rotterdam Marriott certainly did not disappoint.
As a disabled person with limited mobility, I wasn’t sure how far away from Centraal train station it would be. I was pleasantly surprised that even on crutches, it was a distance that I could manage.
The reception staff were all very friendly and welcoming and could not do enough to make our trip even more pleasant.
The room was beautiful and spacious, plenty of charging outlets and even the tv was personalised by using your keycard upon entry to the room.
The bathroom not only had a spacious walk in shower, but also had a large bath.
Both the bathroom and bedroom were very clean and the housekeeping staff were excellent.
The room service was fantastic and absolutely delicious food.
We will be definitely looking forward to booking back in on our next visit to Rotterdam!
OOrsa TurkThe reception is extremely disrespectful. As a businessman traveling around the world, I think I have experience in many hotels. The hotel is a 4 star hotel. It definitely does not deserve 5 stars. The rooms are small and simple. The beds are mediocre. The breakfast is Cafe style. They take a deposit of 100 euros at the entrance. I was satisfied with the room the next day. I asked for a change because I couldn't stay. They asked for a second deposit for a new reservation. I said there was a deposit included. It was for the first reservation. We will refund it to your account after a week. The same hotel is disrespectful enough to ask for a second deposit for a different room and arrogant enough to treat its customers as thieves. I definitely do not recommend it. In terms of hotel standard, it is really 4 stars at most, definitely not 5 stars. The rooms are 3 stars.
AadlokitaThis hotel is ideal for business trips, solo travelers, and even trips with friends. I loved the central location – right in the heart of the city, with an MRT station just across the street and both bus and tram stops nearby. The staff was incredibly helpful during my stay. I’ll definitely choose this place again when I return to Rotterdam.
RRaymond J GNice hotel, good location. We rented a suite for a combined business and pleasure trip. Hotel is rights above a supermarket. Be careful!! Supermarket delivery trucks keep you from sleeping at night. Also Internet connection not working. Strongly recommend to not stay here. At least not when you are expecting a good night sleep.....Only poor excuse was offered. Friendly staff, just noisy rooms. Stay away!
GGuest UserMy family and I spent two nights at this hotel during our summer vacation. It was a pleasant hotel with an intriguing design. The restaurant and bar had a very welcoming bartender. However, there are areas where the hotel could improve. These include the necessity for a lift (the stairs are very small and steep, especially when carrying a large suitcase) and the rooms being quite small.
We arrived in Rotterdam on the same day that the Summer Carnival began. Unfortunately, this was not an enjoyable experience as the streets were overcrowded and there was excessive drinking. As a family, we felt unsafe. The following day, the streets were littered with rubbish.
LLimThe hotel’s room is big and clean. Though the design is a bit old-fashioned but that is ok with us.
Staff are friendly and the location is great ! Really convenient ! Everywhere we wanted to go to is within walking distance or could take the MRT train from the Stadhuis station. This station is the nearest to this hotel. From the Central Station to this hotel, it is about 8 to 10mins walk.
There are many eateries, restaurants, supermarket and shopping areas nearby. Many burgers outlets around. Some even open till 11pm. Do take note that other eateries close earlier like 8pm or 9pm.
Though there is no air-con but there is a standing fan available. The TV is clear and is in working condition. Beds are comfortable and the bathroom is spacious.
The only thing that disappointed us was the elevator. It was not working for the 3 nights stay here. The staff was very kind, she arranged for us to stay on the 1st floor. Hence, fewer steps for us to carry our luggages up.
GGlobbetrottert XXLAfter booking one extra night they didn't allow me to stay at this room. But has to check out before 10 and come back again after 15. Than I try to cansel the reservation but the stoburn administration didn't accept. I'm not pleased with this nonsense.
CCynthiaThe exterior of the hotel look ok. However, the internal function of the hotel need a lot of rooms for improvement. Thankfully, I only stay for 2 nights, but need to bear with all the inconveniences.
First, the lift is not working. Was assigned a small room at level 2. I have to carry my luggage up to my room by stairs.
Second, other guests left their rubbish along the corridor and there was no clean up. Quite disgusting to see this in a hotel. To be honest, this was the most dirty hotel I ever stay.
Third, there was blackout on 2 occasions. Thankfully, I am not halfway through my shower. Though it was recover within an hour, it is unacceptable.
Fourth, there was no storage place for luggage if you arrive early or want to check out late. You were asked to place your luggage at a construction area in a corner of the hotel at your own risk
Fifth, there is a need to place a €50 deposit. This is also the only hotel I encountered in Europe which required to pay a deposit.
Overall, I won't recommend this hotel.
To be fair, the staff are friendly.
