Satisfied with the room and food and the breakfast service was great. Overall all a good place to stay for a short visit. Just sleep in and go out for your activities. My only worry was no land phones in the rooms you could call reception.

I was very happy with my stay at this hotel, especially as my family and I were unfortunately left in the city after we missed our last train.
The staff were very accommodating, and we were given a free upgrade to the executive suite after a mishap and explaining our situation.
The room was absolutely beautiful, spacious, very well ventilated, and clean.
The towels were extra soft, and there was more than enough to accommodate my family. We received cosy dressing gowns and slippers.
We had extra pillows in the bed, and it was extremely comfortable.
The bathroom amenities were divine, too. The shower room was a great design with very good lighting.
The location was perfect, under a 10 min walk from Liverpool Lime St rail station.

The room hygiene is average, the overall decoration and facilities are relatively old, and there is no comparison with domestic hotels of the same brand.

The second time I stayed at Liverpool Raddison Red, this time I had a bad experience from the beginning 👎🏻
Because I was traveling with my kids and three big suitcases, the Italian girl at the front desk gave us the farthest room on the 5th floor, which required us to pass through 4 fire doors. I almost collapsed dragging my suitcases... I went downstairs angrily to ask the girl at the front desk to change rooms. The girl pretended that her English was not good and kept saying that there was no suitable room, which delayed us for more than an hour... Although we were finally changed to the farthest room on the 4th floor, which only required passing through a fire door... Even the children could see that the girl at the front desk was obviously playing dumb, absolutely bad review

Nice breezy walk over at the dock, not too far from OneLiverpool, the shopping and easy access to find food. Staff is moderately friendly. In room amenities is of average but the basic is there. Was disappointed that my in room safe were not functioning. WiFi connection is good, never disappoint me as this is one important factor that I believe is for everyone in this era. Overall, value stay and would recommend if anyone looking for stay.

The front staff of the hotel were very nice.
The room was okay, and I could hear people talking in the next room and the hallway, but it didn't bother me because there were no noisy guests.
The first problem was that the location was not good, with poor access to Lime Street Station and tourist spots.
Also, the road to the hotel was mostly uphill, which made it difficult.
I think it's a good hotel with no issues other than the location.

JjS-The room was spacious and modernly designed. I was pleasantly surprised by the amenities provided, including a refrigerator, slippers, a coffee machine, and conveniently located power sockets behind the beds.
However, the bathroom design was quite impractical. The shower temperature fluctuated between hot and cold, likely due to low water pressure since we stayed on the 15th floor (the top floor). The sink and hangers also seemed poorly thought out, as if the designer hadn’t tested them after installation. Only one tissue was found inside the tissue box, and the air conditioning was difficult to adjust for proper ventilation.
GGuest UserHighly disappointed as I booked two nights for my mom and her husband who were visiting the UK for the very first time. My mom is the biggest Beatles fan and I was so excited to book this hotel for her. When I booked, I asked for the hotel to make sure to give her a good view on a high floor not knowing there are only 5 floors. I’ve attached a pic of the literally trashy view she had. Now, if this view is the only option on the 5th floor, then an email should have been sent for better views on lower floors. because I did ask for a high floor not knowing what the hotel is like. No wonder the pictures of the hotel and the rooms when booking are not clear.
This hotel is beautiful from the outside but unfortunately the inside is just a regular old hotel with pics of the Beatles scattered around.
If this isn’t bad enough, one of the days they left the hotel without taking a shower because there was no hot water and no warning of it. My mom was polite and kind and told me she had a good time, but that’s only because the hotel is in a good location.
Parking was a headache as there was no clear direction and she was not told about the fee prior to. Overall, a very disappointing experience.
There is a lot of room for improvement here.

EEvaGreeted and checked in quickly by the team at reception. It was a nice bright reception. Snacks and drinks for sale at reception.
Spacious room, clean and nicely equipped room. I got a room on the top, 6th floor. Hair dryer, iron, ironing board, and kettle are available in the bedroom.
Shower had only medium water pressure and narrow spray head. Water was nice and warm.
Bed and two pillows were clean and comfortable.
Woken up around 6am by a humming noise from either outside or above and unable to fall back asleep.
Breakfast was chaotic, no staff to guide people. Not a lot of tables for the amount of people having breakfast. Do get a table before getting food at the self service. Good was replenished quickly. Unfortunately the cutleries were not and the staff were under a bit of pressure. Not a great breakfast experience.
Due to the number of people at breakfast, the queue for the lift was longer than expected.
Fitness room available but I did not visit.
Check out was quick.
I would recommend it for people looking for a simple place to stay for a night or two.

GGuest UserCity Studios, Rodney Street, is an excellent location in Liverpool - easily accessible for cultural and city attractions. The system for gaining access to the property worked well, in that the access codes came in good time and were fairly easy to use. The studio was lovely and warm, comfortable and clean, with good kitchen facilities. The only thing wrong was that the shower didn't work, although there was plenty of hot water. As we were only staying one night, we didn't ask for help with this, as we only found out quite late in the evening. If we'd been staying longer, we would have contacted the help number, and I'm sure something would have been done about it. We would use this venue again.

KKennedy83Firstly the bad points-
*The Carpark was full of old furniture from the hotel and empty beer barrier preventing you getting parked,
*The hotel has turned into more of a party venue hotel rather than the beautiful hotel it was when I last came with my daughter 2018.
*tap in the kitchen area in our room only let out hot water and unfortunately the room stunk of what I could only describe as a sewerage smell? Whether the drains needed maintenance I’m not sure but I I just sprayed some deodorant around to help make it not smell quite as bad because I was so tired I didnt want to have to swap rooms.
*There was also no phone to call reception which I found strange and the remote for the tv was missing the back of it.
I put all this bad points down to the fact that when I previously came it was owned by someone who really cared about the maintenance and reputation of the hotel but now I’ve found it’s since been sold it seems the new owner isn’t as bothered and all what the shankley represented before eg, maintenance, luxury, football themed has kind of turned more into a tacky themed hotel and doesn’t feel classy anymore. I’d probably not stay here again as it’s not the same as it was and just the whole feel of hand hotel is different. It’s not the best if you have come with kids as there’s lots of drunken guests in the hotel and it’s noisey but thank goodness it’s a large hotel as you don’t hear the noise from downstairs. We were on level 3.
Our room was lovely and big with a large double bed and 2 twins pushed together, a kitchen area with tea bags and coffee (no biscuits but that didn’t bother us as we had snacks with us
The upsides were-
*Staff were pleasant,
*breakfast was amazing with everything you could possibly as for,
*hotel was mainly quiet on the 3rd floor, room was on the whole clean and had a hair dryer, iron and ironing board with a safe.
* . The bathroom was lovely especially the bath as it was a jacuzzi with a waterfall shower. Everything was clean from what I could see.

WWu Kwok ChungThis is my second time living in this hostel but was in a room of 4 beds this time. The staff is nice and need to bring me to the room everytime as no door card key was given. There is a cabinet in the bed and can put a small luggage in it. You can bring a lock to lock the cabinet. The water is hit enough and the bed is good to sleep. But the sleeping quality depends on how your neighbors sleep. Can't complain at this price. Very good location as many restaurants, bars and Liverpool Lime station nearby

GGuest UserFantastic location.
Faye upgraded our room my son was over the moon with the facilities.
Faye was manager but also front of house.
Faye ordered our taxi straight to Anfield, Faye also gave us the local taxi number.
The room we had the skyliner had a massive bath that needed filling but only by members of staff. I rang at 00:00 and they filled it for our arrival back at the hotel.
Plenty of towels.
Would definitely recommend to families, singles and couples.

VVadim ZahharovPlace was exactly as advertised. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Definitely worth staying if your trip is short.
As for downsides, hostel has limited number of bathrooms and showers - this can cause issues if you have to leave quickly. The ventilation in rooms is basically non-existent, and rooms house up to 10 people, so I’ll leave the air quality to your imagination. Sound isolation is not great, so if somebody has a good time in the kitchen you’ll going to hear that. Bring earplugs if you are light sleeper. Cleanliness is subjective, I’m not that picky, but having crumbs in my bed was disconcerting. Some sinks have filters with hair in them. Haven’t seen anything that would be actually harmful like mold or hygiene products, so that is good.
Location is good. Liverpool is not that big and you’ll get to city centre in under an hour even with most leisurely pace. Do visit the cathedral on your way there. I haven’t seen any shops in immediate vicinity though, but I didn’t need them, so maybe you find some if you look. Bus stop for airport is fairly close, so that is a plus as well.
Overall, this is a hostel. You can sleep there, store your stuff and maybe have a chat with interesting people. Price is fair for experience.
