The hotel is completely British aristocratic style, the room environment is first class, the wash basin is old-fashioned, and it feels great! There are all kinds of old things in the living room. All in all a great hotel, one of the rare ones!

A lovely premier inn, clean and tidy, really friendly staff and a perfect location for our weekend in Edinburgh! Also attached to a wonderful Greene King , the Cuddie Brae, which was much more affordable than pubs closer to the city centre despite being very close!

I stayed at the Adelphi Hotel on a recent trip to Edinburgh. It's definitely a budget-friendly option, which was perfect for me. The room itself was clean and functional. The bed was comfy, there was a flat-screen TV to unwind with, and the shower had great pressure with plenty of hot water. Heads up, there's no breakfast offered at the hotel. I grabbed food at a nearby cafe each morning, which wasn't a problem, but be sure to factor that extra cost into your budget. The room was a little on the small side, and I heard some noise from outside at times. It's not a fancy hotel, and there aren't any amenities beyond free Wi-Fi. The location, however, was fantastic. It's just a short walk from the tram stop, and most of Edinburgh's attractions were within a 10-15 minute drive. There's even free parking on-site, which is a major plus in the city. Overall, the Adelphi Hotel was a decent choice for my short stay. It's perfect if you're on a budget and don't mind a basic room without frills. Just be prepared to find breakfast elsewhere and manage your expectations.

I booked 6 hotels in the UK this time. This one is the one I am most satisfied with. The location is excellent, just on Princes Street, and it is easy to find. The breakfast provided by the hotel is an authentic English breakfast, which is very rich and tastes good ,recommend.

This hotel is historic and grand, I highly recommend it. Was once the Harbor Master's house for the port of Leith and it truly holds all of the charm of a historic building, but with many cool upgrades! The area is really charming, just off the water and a fairly quick bus ride to all the downtown sites. Every single member of the staff from the restaurant, to housekeeping to the front desk really went out of their way to be kind, helpful and attentive. This was a trip of a lifetime for me and they truly made my visit to Edinburgh all the more. I highly recommend The Malmaison. Thank you so very much for an excellent stay.

The hotel is located in the West End area, which is the consulate area. There are several nice hotels in the area, all with very similar buildings, and the B&B is one of them that is very cozy. The reception staff were very welcoming and attentive. The room was not too big or too small, with beautiful lattice windows. There is a small library in the hotel (pictures 2 and 3), which is elegantly decorated, quiet and comfortable. There are many restaurants to choose from within 500 meters. The hotel's breakfast area is not big, but very cozy. The B&B is not far from the Licorice Market Railway Station (Figure 1), and there are bus and long-distance bus stations nearby, so the transportation is convenient. Suitable for parents and children, business trips, especially for sightseeing guests. recommend!

Really enjoyed our stay.  The gym and the pool were lovely!  Room clean and great shower.  Super family room.  The food at dinner was pricey but very big portions for kids.

I was a quick stay (just one night, only really slept there), the location is great, as well as the staff and everything looks good. The WIFI however was very bad, both the day I checked in, as well as in the morning when I left. My phone struggled to keep it on, and on my laptop it only has 1 or 2 bars. I think everything else was good, it is very well located, but hotels these days must ensure WIFI is reliable and high speed, otherwise travellers who rely on it may be deterred.

We chose this hotel as it had a swimming pool. However, the pool was being renovated. They offered us breakfast and a discount during our stay to compensate the pool. We loved the attitude of the staff. The only problem is the air-conditioning wasn't working in our room. We used an electric heater given by the staff. In total we loved our stay there
