Xin Yuan Hotel ★★

📍 No.223 Minquan Road, East District, Hsinchu

"The front desk lady was very friendly. There's also an affordable, unmanned late-night snack bar on the first floor, which is quite unique. Although the hotel facilities are a bit old, the cleanliness is excellent. In addition to the central AC, there's also a split-unit air conditioner that provides good cooling. We stayed with our child, and the room was smoke-free. Excellent value for money!"

Sol Hotel ★★★★
"Room is big and comfortable, got a good WiFi sufficient for my teams meeting and video calls, a little jerky when viewing videos and movies online but TV streaming movies are good. Gym room not big but big enough for what is needed. Nice restaurant downstairs and with a large shopping mall nearby so no issue with finding food and entertainment"

Carlton Hotel ★★★★
"This hotel offers a unique amenity not found elsewhere. On the 1st-floor lounge, guests can find essential oils, bath salts, and fine mesh bags to fill and take back to their room's bathtub, adding a delightful aromatic touch to their soak – a truly thoughtful gesture! Nearby, Changhe Temple and the Cultural and Educational Building are worth exploring. From the park just across the street, you can easily pick up a U-Bike and cycle to the train station, passing by sights like City Hall and the Public Library along the way."
