Good service and great experience for my family, good view at all

This is a very beautiful place, especially a great spot to watch the sunrise. The restaurants are very convenient, and there’s also a Hard Rock with a live band at night. I’ll definitely come again next time.

Our room on the 47th floor had a fantastic view! Although the hotel is a bit of a distance from the main theme parks and activities, the shuttle service running on an hourly frequency made it convenient to get around.

Overall the good hotel with the superb view. You can enjoy the view of the mountain from the top of the hotel and lepak2 at the rooftop with the cozy air. My kids really enjoyed staying here. The swimming pool also kids friendly.

I stayed in a 2-bedroom unit on the 45th floor at this hotel in Genting Highlands, and it was a great experience overall. The unit was comfortable, and the view facing KL city was absolutely stunning, especially at night when the weather was clear. The only downside was the long wait for the elevators, particularly during checkout times, which can be a bit frustrating. Other than that, it was a pleasant stay and worth it for the amazing view.

Despite its strategic location near Skyworld Genting, my family’s stay at Wyndham Ion Majestic had several letdowns. Arrival & Check-in The road leading to the hotel felt unsafe at night due to poor lighting. Check-in itself was smooth as the lobby is on the G floor, but there was no proper signage to guide guests there. Cleanliness & Comfort Unfortunately, the 19th-floor corridor had a strong unpleasant smell (urine/stench) which caused discomfort for my family. Inside the room, cleanliness was below expectation — dust was noticeable, and the carpet wasn’t properly vacuumed. Damp feet easily picked up dust and hair. That said, the room itself was fairly comfortable for two people, and the balcony view was a highlight. Lift & Accessibility The hotel has 6–7 lifts serving up to the 49th floor, but during check-out, the experience was frustrating. We waited more than 30 minutes just to get a lift down. Even when full, the lift continued stopping at almost every floor, turning the ride into a 15-minute descent. Breakfast Experience Breakfast was average at best. The paratha resembled hardened poori rather than proper paratha, and the overall spread was limited (egg station, cereal, bread). My kids didn’t enjoy the food. Facilities The indoor pool on the 13th floor was overcrowded during the Merdeka long weekend. Water overflowed into the lift area, creating a slippery and potentially dangerous hazard. The overall design of the hotel, especially level 13 (i.e., kids’ room, gym, pools, and spa), felt confusing. Rather than giving a true “hotel experience,” the property felt more like a deteriorating serviced apartment. While the balcony view is positive, the negatives — from poor lift management, cleanliness issues, and average food, to unsafe and poorly planned facilities outweighed the good points. For the branding Wyndham, the experience fell short of expectations.
