The rates were a little higher than expected and the rooms a bit dated but overall was a pleasant stay. The staff is very minimal. The breakfast area has some hot options and coffee but is only manned by one individual, whom I want to note did an amazing job on her own. Its a little further walk from some downtown locations but overall a good option.

The hotel is very nice and clean for an older building. The location is perfect for all the fun things to do in downtown Indy. What really made this stay spectacular was that every working we encountered was incredibly friendly and helpful. There was a nice man greeting us as we entered and waited in a short line to check in. This was during a very busy night with a major sporting event. The front desk was super friendly, and the two ladies working breakfast were as sweet and helpful as can be. We really felt like we were part of their family. Thanks for a great stay!!

We stayed here unexpectedly for a week during my sorority's conference after a fiasco with an Airbnb that we canceled the day of my arrival. The hotel's reservation person was able to get us into a room immediately. The stay was welcoming and accommodating. The room was clean. The bed was absolutely wonderful. It felt as if I was sleeping on a cloud. The hotel was quiet. As an extremely light sleeper, this was a huge plus. When we needed something, the front desk was timely in connecting with the correct department needed to assist me. The valet was wonderful. I love that the valet service was 24 hours. Hilton saved the day!

Praise to Craig, my valet/bellman who, when I arrived, had to take the bell cart to my room, and back down to the desk because I had been assigned to my boss's room to start with, and then up to my actual room. He then went with me over to the Convention Center as I had a lot of stuff for our conference that was starting with exhibitor check-in that afternoon. We chatted the whole time which made it a very pleasant experience. The only downside of my stay is that the bathroom light goes all the way around the mirror and is quite bright when you flip it on. It'd be nice to have a dimmer switch or smaller overhead light.

I just stayed in a train car room - it was dirty & in serious need of updating. The furniture is threadbare & chipped. There is dust in the vents & walls by the vents. Dirty handprints on the walls, carpet felt old, sink got easily clogged and backed up with water. The adjoining door was warped so we couldn’t open it to visit our family in the next room. The AC made a ringing noise every time it ran. The windows look out to interior hallways with very bright interior lights, and the shades didn’t block the light at night. Overall, the room felt like a bad motel. Beware!

PPassenger59527649937If business or with family a residence inn is ever a good place to relax and have a nice time. Service is geat and rooms are in perfekt conditions (feels new 2024). The grill and the cooktop/stofe are my favorite items why i choose Residence Inn.
GGuest UserWe stayed at the SpringHill Suites for GenCon. The room was modern with some nice touches like a sliding translucent room divider to given someone sleeping on the couch some privacy from the main bed. A separate shower and toilet room so more then one person could get ready in the morning. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was tasty and filling. Sadly like many stops on this trip, no black tea at breakfast, just a selection of herbal teas and coffee. Location is close to the downtown core and you can get to the Convention center though the JW without going outside.
TTyler CarterThe hotel is nice. It reminds me of the hotels my parents would take us kids when young : big, spacious lobby, the smell of a pool, indoor balconies where you can look out on the interior. All was nice and luxurious, though maybe a bit older. We were going to the airport early so really there wasn't much time to hangout. My partner found it a bit cold as our ac unit didn't produce heat reliably.
GGuest UserGreat staff, very clean. Love the lobby area with lots of food options. Valet guys were on top of things. (Thank you Miguel!) Overall excellent experience. Thank you!
KKristy MI have never stayed at a Courtyard Marriott that was so filthy in my entire life. We are Marriott rewards members, but since we booked through a third party, I think we got the shaft (hotels don't like that). We were visiting for a family reunion, and upon check-in found out the Starbucks coffee was unavailable because the breakfast area was closed down for COVID. Now, I understand Corona problems, but nowhere on their website did they mention this, however there was a Starbucks 1 mile up the street open??? After visiting with family, we came back to the hotel about 10:30pm. Exhausted I pulled back the sheets to find a stain that looked like blood or jelly. Either way, I did not want to sleep there. (see pics). Therefore, in my nightgown and leggings, I shlepped down to the front desk and asked for another room. We were given a room on the first floor (note: there is smoking in this hotel, so it travels up). After moving all of our belongings, about 11:15 pm, we checked the beds. A ok. However, the bathtub was filthy (see pics). Also, do not plan on house-service...again, was not mentioned on the website. Never, ever, ever, ever, ever again. Keep driving up the highway about a mile for a nicer Marriott.
GGuest UserI have always recommended this hotel to everyone just because of the staff has the most amazing customer service until and I had the opportunity to speak with a general manager who is very very unprofessional but to top it all off the head housekeeper Roberto thought it was unacceptable to talk to me like I was beneath him I was trying to get into the side door to retrieve the rest of my belongings to check out he literally said to me and these are his words per Betim for me to shut the **** up or he would call the police on me who talks to someone like that I have given this Holiday Inn so much money I’ll offer the employees when I go out to buy them dinner I just I’m very respectful and for someone to talk to me like that that is so so unacceptable but if that’s the kind of people they want representing their establishment well then obvious they don’t value their customers. I will say one last thing he would not come outside and talk to me like that he hides behind the building the company so he thinks he can talk to people however he wants to and it’s acceptable when he could’ve stepped outside those doors and talk to me like that … and I am happy to give my name it is Michelle Thompson and I wouldn’t stay there ever again!!
5597brandygI made a reservation for my son's soccer tournament, to stay one night. A few days before our stay, my son got injured and required surgery. I called the hotel to see about a refund since I am and have been an IHG member for years and frequently stay at these hotels. The hotel didn't even bat an eyelash before they told me that they could cancel my reservation but I would still be charged $160. I called corporate after this, it's not like I was just trying to get out of staying, legitimate health reason with documentation, not to mention being a loyal member. I was told by the rep she couldn't refund but would send it along to management because she didn't see a reason why they couldn't refund under these circumstances and was told I would hear no more than 48 hrs later. After waiting 5 days, I call corporate back and was told that the GM of this location had already declined my refund and that was that. I sincerely hope that the GM never runs into health issues with their family and has the hope that other real life people would be understanding in that situation. Showing compassion in business goes a long way.
